Some of the complex movements, somersaults and over the head tumblings require using the head and neck muscles and this robot model doesn't have them... if they make a robot with movable head, that can tilt - then it could help a lot

Training the robot to perform a long-term dancing (2:30 mins) with stability, smoothness, and agility is much more challenging than we expected. The robot needs to dance with the rhythm, keep global position, move dynamically and cannot fall. You cannot cherry pick on the playing field. More technical details will be released in the future.

Drumming exposes timing, wrist motion, impact force, arm recovery, and coordination between both hands. Even if the routine is pre-programmed or assisted, the useful part is visible: the robot has to strike, reset, and stay in rhythm without turning into random arm movement. Robot musicians may look funny today. They are quietly testing the same control problems needed for household robots, factory arms, and physical AI systems that work around humans.
