I judge people on how they leave behind hotel rooms too. Why? Because a robot won’t clean up behind you. I don’t think the mess is as bad as she’s making it out to be, but it’s weird that they checked out and left their clothes. Seriously though, if you rent an AirBNB, it doesn’t hurt to pick up a bit before you leave. 😅

Imagine booking an out of state Airbnb with some friends only to find out the Airbnb you booked doesn’t exist. But your friend is very resourceful and persistent. She finds out it was a 26 year old who was evicted from the property. He continued to list it as an Airbnb in an attempt to scam others out of their money. The group of friends ended up having to stay with other members of their group because they couldn’t find another place to rent in time. Considering the inconvenience and emotional distress, should the scammer be financially liable for this?

Korty shares how she felt disrespected by an elderly man that came to work in her houseand refused to clean up the mess. I agree with Korty on this. Regardless of age, if you're hired to do a job and you make a mess while doing it, cleaning up after yourself should be part of the work. It's not even about status or who is older; it's about professionalism and respect for the person's space. To me, one of the signs of a true professional is leaving a place as neat as, or neater than, you met it.
