We have several businesses and there are also funds that need to be used. What will our retirement look like? I think it’s good to start planning early, how much we would want to spend in retirement, and how we can generate income now to support that in the future. Most of it is really about financial planning. 🗣️: And what about Tul? Mew : It’s something we talk about all the time. We both feel that when we get older, we want to live comfortably together. So we’re working hard right now so that life will be easier for us when we’re older.

Professor Pattu of freefincal has 60% of his mutual fund exposure in one single fund : the PPFAS flexicap fund. I asked him the reason for this and does it worry him that the fund has high cash levels and high exposure to IT stocks. His answer was both candid and endearing 😊 He likes the fact that there is low churn and there is downside protection. Also as a long term investor, he prefers to never do back seat driving. I have never called a contractor to do work on my home who isn’t Black. Why? Because if we aren’t intentional about investing in Black businesses they don’t succeed and can’t scale. We change that when we invest our money through supporting the business. Each year I keep a track of how much I’ve spent with Black businesses and people. We should all look at how much we #BuyBlack so we can grow our own individual impact in our community. Black businesses supply Black jobs which help make our communities stable, resourced, and safe. It’s Black business month, #BuyBlack and do your part to help build a stronger Black ecosystem.
