Wanted to chime in on this video and shed some light on what High Performance looks like in game ----- FNS calls Zellsis the most overrated player in Americas. Now to be clear I'm not coming at this butthurt as a friend of Jordan, but rather I don't think people appreciate the magnitude of impact he has on a team and on a series Whether you play ranked or compete at the highest level of this game, your team dynamic is one of the most important aspects of success. You may win without it, and let skill and strategy shine, but it won't be sustainable The things that Jordan does extremely well that need to be highlighted are: - energy - communication - mid-rounding voice - emotional awareness - effort - mental resilience - ability to stay focused when the match matters High Performance is a combination of talent and skills for sure, but more importantly it's: - attitude - behaviours - consistency - mindset - focused attention - awareness of mental intensity - intention to improve - intention to execute As you continue to build your skills in game, be sure to elevate your High Performance skills overall. It starts with awareness, then influence, then consistency! TRUE Seasonal games, like Path of Exile, Marathon, or even EFT (we'll see today), are designed in a way for players to engage with the seasonal content and then move on. Between seasons/leagues, I can play a new game, say Elden Ring, or God of War: Ragnarok, enjoy the game, and look at my calendar and know that on May 29th, at 1:00 PM PST, the new PoE league drops and I will LOG IN. And, that time away (whilst playing other titles) makes the return experience that much more enriched. This might be an odd segue, BUT... I still keep seeing posts about "concurrent players abysmally low, dead game," etc. People who are posting this stuff literally have zero IQ. I know it's all rage bait and engagement farm, but, sadly, it pushes a false narrative and poisons and seeds a negative perception that spreads throughout the gaming community; whether it's with EFT, Marathon, Hunt: Showdown, Path of Exile, and other seasonal games. And, I know when these types of posts acquire mass engagement because people come into stream every day asking, "this game isn't dead yet?" Just cuz a game is off season, doesn't mean it's dead lmao. Sucks cuz I know creatives at the studios probably catch wind of these posts and I'm sure it's a bit demoralizing and stuff... Marathon is still getting heat about it's concurrent player count; trust me, if UbiSoft Singapore are still pumping out content for that AAAA game, Skull and Bones, other studios will be just fine. Marathon, Marauders, EFT, Hunt: Showdown, etc., they ain't goin nowhere. GGG didn't necessarily come up with the philosophy, but they doubled down on it; kudos to them for taking the risk, paving the way for other seasonal games. W economy reset. W wipes. W progression resets. Obviously, this isn't for everyone; casual players get left behind, but I'm a gamer, and I need a game to satiate my gaming addiction, Minecraft ain't gonna cut it for me big dog.

Some insider info regarding Deadlock PvE. The PvE mode features 4 game variants and 7 different stages* (*?). Heroes have a progression system and personal Artifacts (currently one of the testing options). You kill monsters and get a chest containing an item. In one of the variants, chests drop from bosses. In another, they are rewarded for completing challange (potentially along the lines of: "kill 100 monsters using the 1st skill, get upgrades beneficial for the 1st skill"). Items can stack and be upgraded (similarly to Streetbrawl, but like you'll get 4 items, but each duplicate will affect the damage percentage, radius, etc.) The number of items and possible upgrades is limited. There are also legendary items from Streetbrawl, as well as a new type of item (artifacts) that have a separate inventory slot. Bosses can disable your stamina and items, and affect both you and the monsters in general. The final objectives differ for each mode, but exact descriptions are not available yet. --- In reality, this is the exact same thing that happened with StreetBrawl 6 - Valve threw in a wide variety of ideas and is currently testing them. (For those who don't remember, there were initially many different rumors about how StreetBrawl worked, but the final 4v4 system, random items, and round-based combat remained). Information from an anonymous source who previously discussed the mod-split in the Ranked update and the item changes in the Minor Update (prior to the Ranked update)

Bryson DeChambeau’s next event after LIV Golf Andalucia is the US Open, where he’ll attempt to win his 3rd gold medal. He spoke to Flushing It Golf at Valderrama about his preparation ahead of Shinnecock Hills and whether he feels any pressure after missing the last 2 cuts in majors: “Well, Valderrama is a ball striker's golf course. So you have to control your golf ball and hit the right shots under the gun with a lot of wind out here. It really is a great ball strikers paradise. The same as, you know, in the US Open. Officially moving on from Tech game after I get this thought off my chest. I more than welcome anyone smarter than me in regards to the football to chime in. I truly, truly, truly cannot wrap my head around the thought process here. These two plays I'm sure anyone with brain can agree officially sealed KU's slim chances in having a chance to win this game. The play calling to me seems like completely flipped in logic at best? First one, you are down 4, on your own 30 so you are not going to go for this. Ignoring that we were getting dominated in the trenches in this game and that the 'obvious' play is a run, I don't get why we make the decision in a must get spot to take the ball out of our QB's (who at the time was rolling) hands. Jalon Daniels is our best player. In an absolute must get/need, we should be relying on him to make a play. Then the second one. I obviously don't know the answer here, but I feel somewhat confident that the reason we didn't run here was because of how the earlier 3rd & 1 run went. While I don't necessarily agree with the premise of decision making on this alone, I can appreciate the recognition that we are going to struggle to gain a yard in an obvious run situation. But the thing is, we are in go for it range so the one thing you absolutely cannot have is a massive negative play. Literally anything else is okay (obviously not a turnover). I truly don't think there's a good chance we run the ball on this attempt and get a yard. But THIS situation gives you a free shot at it if you want to take it. I think this play call would have worked if we didn't let their best player run at our qb freely but I'd just argue this play had a ton of potential risk that wasn't necessary. Hell even a play action pass out of out shot gun or something rolling JD out to the left would have given us a good shot at first down with an escape route to bail out on the play if something went wrong. I'm once again for the millionth time saying I know and understand that this entire staff knows more about football in their pinky than I do. But I do think the game has evolved and game + clock management doesn't really require football knowledge/have a direct correlation to one's football knowledge. It's not as simple as ESPN's graphic says GO so you should go etc, there are variables and human behavior etc to deal with and I understand that. But we are just getting these situations downright wrong. We are flipping a coin that has a 20 pound weight attached to the heads side and calling tails almost every single time. S/O anyone who read all this but would just love some insight if there's anyone who disagrees and is a lot smarter than I!

But I do think the game has evolved and game + clock management doesn't really require football knowledge/have a direct correlation to one's football knowledge. It's not as simple as ESPN's graphic says GO so you should go etc, there are variables and human behavior etc to deal with and I understand that. But we are just getting these situations downright wrong. We are flipping a coin that has a 20 pound weight attached to the heads side and calling tails almost every single time. S/O anyone who read all this but would just love some insight if there's anyone who disagrees and is a lot smarter than I!

23 year old David Puig is having another great season, finishing inside the points in every event on the LIV Golf League to be 10th on the Standings and finishing T11 or better in all 3 DP World Tour starts. He’s been a model of consistency but is without a win and he says it’s something he’s looking forward to the challenge of trying to overcome: “I’ve been having a really good season and playing very consistent. I think I’ve been doing well in every part of the game if you look at my strokes gained. Lots of birdies, some eagles, but too many mistakes to be winning events and it’s something I’m really looking forward to, the challenge of minimising the mistakes and trying to get it done this year. “There’s times where I’ve made the right decision, it was just poorly executed and a few unlucky breaks here and there that stopped me from winning. But I’m looking forward to the challenge and really happy with how I’ve been playing.” David is an electric player to watch who is not scared to take on tough shots and can get hot at any time running off strings of birdies. His speed is his biggest asset but it’s something he says he needs to learn how to utilise: “I might be a little different than the average player. I hit the ball pretty far and that makes it a bit more challenging when I’m out of position in the rough. We’ve caught a couple of fliers where the ball reacts different than expected out of the different lies and that makes it more challenging. But I’ve just got to learn from those mistakes and keep getting better. “My game is getting into good shape. I’m positive with the way I’ve been working on and off the course to get to that point that I can get the win. I’m excited for it and I’m learning. I just need to keep the mistakes off the card.” David is playing this week at LIV Golf UK by JCB and it’s a course which he says he enjoys. He also played well here last season coming T11. Hopefully he can continue his great form this season and contend again this weekend at the JCB Golf and Country Club.

Notes from today’s #Bengals practice: - Overall, another winning day for the defense, but not as conclusive as recent practices - Cashius Howell popped in a big way on a couple rushes off the edge against Orlando Brown using both speed and power. Also blew by Andrew Coker for a would-be sack. Probably his best practice to date. The fact Zac Taylor referenced him having the same tenacity as Erick All tells you what you need to know about he’s viewed. - Vet day for Chase meant extra passes for Tee Higgins. Hit some, but still off at times, working to get their connection down (nobody should be worried about this). - Ugly drop by Andrei Iosivas to close practice on a crosser. The landfill is a more than 35 meter high mountain of decaying trash covering 32 hectares. It's closed because the gases emanated from it are toxic and ground water is being contaminated This means there's no other landfill of this size near to accept Bali's current trash. So the government has instructed people that "household waste should be disposed of at home" which in Bali means burning it! Trash burning has been a tradition for centuries in Bali (and Indonesia), but it used be mostly organic matter that was being burned Once plastic arrived the tradition didn't change though and locals started burning plastic too, pumping toxic gases into the air causing massive spikes of lung cancer and other respiratory diseases The tradition means on a daily basis around 7 in the morning and 6 in the evening, your neighbours will be burning their trash, and if you're not lucky there's a construction site near which will burn even more but all day! Burning plastic means you emit dioxins and furans, some of the most potent human carcinogens that exist I have friends in Indonesia with family with lung cancer cases, it's a real thing. My fear with Bali has always been that the digital nomads there might not realize the slow danger creeping up on them. You get used to the trash burning and polluted air very quickly in Bali and it probably doesn't affect you over a year or so But if you're there for many years, it will in some way or the other! Bryson DeChambeau hasn’t played since the Ryder Cup and he won’t be again until LIV Golf Riyadh in February. He says he’s been speed training through the off season though and has a target of reaching a comfortable 200mph ball speed. He’s also been playing table tennis with America’s number 1, Kanak Jha. Speaking to Tom Hobbs from Flushing It Golf, Bryson said: “I’m not playing until Riyadh. I’m going to be going in hot though. I’m sneaky working on my game really hard. “I'm going to start ramping up my speed again. I ramped up my speed in November, got it to where I was pumping over 190 quite efficiently with some slow golf balls and stuff. I got to 200 quite a bit. “I haven’t done much recently though. Most of the issues I have with it can be fixed through future updates. If you were a fan of the second phase games, you will undoubtedly enjoy it.
