The accused was found indulging... in illegal manufacturing of bakery products under unhygienic conditions without valid licenses. During the raid, bakery materials and products worth ₹2,77,630/- were seized. Investigation revealed that the accused was manufacturing and storing bakery items in highly unhygienic conditions without food, trade, or labour licenses and without adhering to fire safety norms. The products were being illegally supplied to kirana stores, cafés, and hotels, thereby posing a serious threat to public health. A case has been registered in Cr. No. 68/2026 under Sections 274, 275, 318(4) BNS at Tappachabutra Police Station. The operation was carried out under the supervision of Addl. During the operation, one individual, Pattala Ashok, was apprehended for running the unit without a valid license and for engaging in the manufacture and sale of adulterated, unhygienic, and expired ice cream products, in violation of provisions under Cr. No.118/2026, U/Sec. 125, 318(4) of BNS, Musheerabad Police Station. The inspection revealed that the unit was involved in large-scale production and distribution of substandard ice cream products of various flavours, including Mango, Vanilla, American Nuts, Butter Scotch, Dry Fruit, Strawberry, Cream & Cookies, Special Flavours, and Malai Kulfi, along with small “Pepsi” ice cream packs. These were being supplied to wholesale and retail markets under misleading claims of quality. It was further observed that expired ingredients such as Pineapple and Custard Apple flavouring agents, along with synthetic food colours, were being used in the preparation process, posing significant health risks to consumers. The premises were maintained under highly unsanitary conditions, with improper storage and handling of raw materials and finished products, rendering them unfit for human consumption. A substantial quantity of adulterated ice cream products, synthetic food colours, and expired flavouring agents, collectively valued at approximately ₹1,75,000/-, were seized during the raid. The apprehended individual along with the seized material has been handed over to the SHO, Musheerabad Police Station, for further investigation and necessary legal action. The operation was carried out under the supervision of senior officers of the Task Force with the assistance of H-FAST and local police staff.

The products were supplied to restaurants and retail outlets, posing a serious public health risk. Authorities seized over 4032 kg of adulterated paste, 6210 kg of low-quality raw materials, and related items worth about ₹22 lakh. The accused and seized materials were handed over to Mailardevpally Police for further action.

Two godowns located in Regharpura, Karol Bagh, where these fake products were being packaged and branded, were sealed. Police seized approximately 3,790 kilograms of adulterated dairy products worth Rs 18.26 lakhs on Wednesday, March 4, in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad. The accused, Mohammed Junaid Hussain, illegally manufactured adulterated dairy products, including ghee, cow cream, and buffalo cream. He sold them under the brand "Pride Dairy" located in Bholanagar, Banjara Hills, Road no 12. The police raided Pride Dairy and apprehended the owner, Hussain, 26 years old, who was allegedly mixing palm oil, vanaspati (vegetable oil) and other low-quality substances in ghee to sell it to the public .Police seized a total of 460 kgs of adulterated ghee, 70 kgs of adulterated mixed ghee, 2,090 kgs of adulterated cow cream, and 1,170 kgs of adulterated buffalo cream. These adulterated products were being sold as original pure ghee to the public, hotels, and event organisers, posing a significant risk to public health.

The Crime Branch of Delhi Police has busted an illegal LPG racket in the Sangam Vihar area, recovering a total of 183 Indane gas cylinders from delivery agents’ godowns. Police have arrested Chethan, the prime accused in the murder of 21-year-old Lavanya, who was allegedly hacked to death at the KSRTC bus stand in Bantwal on Thursday evening. Dakshina Kannada Superintendent of Police Arun K. said a complaint was registered after Lavanya was found murdered within the jurisdiction of the Bantwal Town Police Station. A case has been registered under Sections 78, 126 and 103 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). According to the police, the investigation revealed that Chethan, a distant relative of the victim, had allegedly developed a one-sided obsession with Lavanya. After she repeatedly rejected his advances, he allegedly attacked her with a sword, resulting in her death. Special police teams were constituted to trace the accused, who was located and apprehended in Mangaluru on Friday morning. During interrogation, Chethan reportedly disclosed that he had consumed rat poison. Police immediately shifted him to a government hospital, where he is undergoing treatment under police security. "His arrest procedure will be completed once he recovers. Further legal action will be initiated thereafter," SP Arun K. said. Police said the investigation into the case is continuing.

Gang of 8 arrested for manufacturing Adulterated Garlic and #GingerPaste in #Hyderabad, seized 1500 kg #GarlicPaste and 480 kg damaged raw garlic by Hyderabad City Police . A joint raid by the Task Force of Hyderabad Police Commissionarate and the Bowenpally police in Raja Rajeshwari Nagar, Old Bowenpally in Secunderabad, led to the arrest of eight individuals involved in the manufacturing and sale of adulterated ginger paste. The authorities raided ‘Sony Ginger Garlic Paste’ and discovered that the accused were making adulterated Ginger and Garlic paste in unhygienic methods, mixed with citric acid and rotten garlic, then packaged in plastic containers with misleading labels and expiry dates. Seized Material :- 1) Garlic paste 1500 kgs, 2) Citric acid 55 kgs, 3) Mixture machine, 4)Grinder Machine 5)Weighing Machine, 6)Damaged Raw garlic 12 bags each 40 kgs 7)Date Stamps- 2 Nos. 8)Ink Bottles- 2 Nos.
