The 43-year-old was laid to rest in a ceremony that drew Nigerian celebrities like popular Afrobeats singer Davido months after he died following a penis enlargement procedure he underwent while on holiday in Bangkok, Thailand. The burial post by socialite Cubana Chiefpriest, who was also present at the burial, shared a tribute video from the funeral alongside a caption mourning his late friend on May 29th,2026. He wrote, "Rest Easy Brother Even In Death, The Lifestyle Was Kept 💯 For You. Today London🇬🇧 Stood Still For You Tiny, We Love You, We Celebrate You & We Will Never Forget You Brother, We Lived Bro, Good Memories Na Water💦 RIP🕊️ Big Tiny Please🙏 Watch Over Us." PUNCHOnline reports that Davido, said to be a childhood friend of the deceased, spoke at the funeral and expressed shock over Ubiribo's death, describing him as a man of great energy and presence whose death was difficult to accept. Tiny died in the early hours of March 6, 2026, after suffering complications from a cosmetic procedure at a clinic in Bangkok, where he had 40 millilitres of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine injected into his penis. Tiny and his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, had gone for a massage session shortly after the procedure when he began complaining of chest pain and subsequently collapsed twice. He was rushed to Sukhumvit Hospital, where he was placed on resuscitation for over 100 minutes before he was pronounced dead. 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫'𝐬 𝐑𝐮𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠 An inquest into Ubiribo's death, held months later at the Inner West London Coroners' Court, established the exact circumstances surrounding his death. Pathologist John du Parcq, who conducted a postmortem examination in the UK, told the inquest that cellular material found in Ubiribo's lungs matched the hyaluronic acid used during the Bangkok procedure, a finding he said was consistent with an earlier autopsy conducted in Thailand. Assistant Coroner Jean Harkin subsequently ruled that Ubiribo died from a pulmonary embolism caused by the cosmetic procedure. The inquest also heard from Ubiribo's primary care doctor in London, who disclosed that the deceased had previously undergone joint operations and was pre-diabetic with gout, but had no other significant underlying medical conditions. The coroner's ruling put to rest earlier conflicting reports that had suggested Ubiribo suffered a heart attack in the United States. Credit: Instagram | Cubana Chief Priest
