Transferring normals from one mesh to another allows smooth transitions between objects, very useful for environment creation! 🔥 As far as I know, this isn’t possible with Cycles since it’s a path tracer. It would have been really handy! Tested on Blender 4.5 Alpha. #b3d

📌 As promised, here’s how I created the high-definition fabric strands from my recent posts: 1⃣ I apply a curl shape to the main guide curve and duplicate it. 2⃣ I subdivide the resulting curves into randomly sized segments. 3⃣ I add noise to each fiber to introduce variation. Finally the overall logic is quite simple. #b3d

Didn’t get a chance to improve the procedural cloud shader yet, but I should this week. ☁️ Here’s another look. It’s still R&D and should be out for free on Gumroad next week if all goes well.✨ I might make a more advanced paid version later, but that’s not the goal right now. #b3d
