#ZimElection2023 CHAMISA RAN HIS CAMPAIGN LIKE AN INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE... WITH NO STRUCTURES AND EXPECTED TO WIN AND BECOME PRESIDENT WITH NO MAJORITY IN PARLIAMENT This is what Nelson Chamisa said on 21 June 2023 about the strategic thrust of the campaign of his CCC in the 2023 harmonised general election held last week: "our [CCC] campaign is going to be basically a presidential... our [CCC] focus is not to be in parliament but to be in government. We [as MDC opposition] have been in parliament for a long time, that's not our [CCC] station of choice at the moment". The fact that Chamisa thought he could win the presidential election even if, or regardless of whether, his CCC won a majority in Parliament, explains his crushing defeat. An election in Zimbabwe is defined in terms of section 4 of the Electoral Act which provides that: election” means— (a) the election of a member of Parliament; or (b) an election to the office of President; or (c) an election for the purposes of the Rural District Councils Act [Chapter 29:13] or the Urban Councils Act [Chapter 29:15]; as the case may be. These three elections used to be held separately before they were harmonised for the first time in the 2008 election in terms of section 38 of the Act. It is odd and even irrational, and it defies the logic of the harmonised general election for any political party that seeks power to govern the country as a whole to only target – as did Chamisa in the 2023 harmonised general election held last week –winning only one of the three elections, just the presidential election. It is foolhardy for a political party to say its strategy and focus is only to win the presidential election, without basing that strategy and focus on winning the local authority and parliamentary elections, as well. Such a strategy, if it can be called a strategy, renders the presidential candidate no different from an independent presidential candidate who contests for the presidency without the advantage of the structures of a political party. Simply put, a presidential candidate in Zimbabwe cannot win a presidential election if the candidate does not have a campaign strategy that is based on his or her political party winning a majority of wards in the local authority election, and a majority of constituencies in the parliamentary election. If it’s an independent presidential candidate, then he or she must have ground structures of one sort or another, or forget it. Chamisa contested the presidential election as if he was an independent candidate, and he boasted about it, without relying on his CCC and without any ground structures. In the circumstances, just how or why did Chamisa expect to win the presidential election by effectively running as an independent candidate? Which structures did Chamisa expect to use, or did he in fact use to campaign for the presidency in every street and every village, across the length and breadth of the country? Since by his own admission, as quoted above and reflected on the attached video clip, Chamisa was clearly not relying on his CCC to win the presidency. This begs the question: by not relying on CCC structures, and by not having alternative ground structures in the streets and in villages, did Chamisa think that ZanuPF members and supports would vote for him, as an act of God, perhaps? Was Chamisa's presidential election campaign, for him an article of faith, in other words was it about his belief that God had chosen him, and that he would win regardless of whether or not CCC won a majority in the local authority and parliamentary elections? Where did Chamisa and his supporters in Zimbabwe and among the legions of his fans in America and Europe think he would get the necessary number of polling agents to monitor the voting and vote counting at the country’s 12,374 polling stations, and to secure the 12,374 V11s from those polling stations, given the fact that he actually ran for the presidency as an independent candidate, expecting to be supported less by his own CCC party and more by the members and supporters of ZanuPF? Does this kind of strategy make sense to anyone on earth? And, does that strategy make sense to Nerves Mumba and his Sadc Election Observation Mission or to any other foreign election observation mission that was in Zimbabwe last week like, say for example, the European Union Observer Mission or any of the several observer missions from the United States that were in Zimbabwe to observe the elections? How did the various foreign election observer missions and Chamisa’s social media supporters expect him to win the presidential election, not only where and when his CCC party was losing the local authority and parliamentary elections but, and critically, where Chamisa himself did not believe that the local authority and parliamentary elections were important or necessary for him to win the presidency? The fact that the loquacious, belligerent and inflammatory foreign election observer missions that are peddling falsehoods about the elections, and Chamisa’s social media supporters who claim with no evidence that Chamisa won, did not raise a finger against the results of the local and parliamentary elections that were declared at 1970 wards and 209 constituencies well ahead of the declaration of the result for the presidential election on 26 August, clearly means that there was no problem with two of the three elections that make up Zimbabwe’s harmonised general election. Only after the declaration of the presidential election result on 26 August did all hell break loose. It must be asked, again, how did anyone expect Chamisa to win a presidential election whose campaign was – as per Chamisa’s deliberate strategy – organised and pursued as if it was the presidential campaign of an independent candidate? Chamisa’s presidential election campaign was not based on the CCC parliamentary election campaign or on CCC’s structural capacity on the ground, strangely, it was based on the expectation that ZanuPF members and supporters would vote for Chamisa. Why on earth did anyone expect ZanuPF members and supporters to vote for someone whose base is ever singing cacophonic noise that ZanuPF must go, and hurling insults at the incumbent party, its officials and its supporters? What kind of politics is that? You are contemptuous of ZanuPF and anyone associated with it, but you expect ZanuPF members and supporters to vote for you. This expectation does not compute, certainly not in electoral politics. As things turned out, ZanuPF members and supporters who are registered voters voted for their party candidates in all the three elections: local authority election, the parliamentary election and the presidential election. As a result, in the parliamentary election, CCC won just 73 constituency seats. There's just no way that CCC's 73 constituency seats in the National Assembly would have boosted Chamisa to win the presidency. No ways. In Zimbabwe's first harmonised general election in 2008, Morgan Tsvangirai did well in the first round of the presidential election primarily if not only because the two MDC formations used their round structures to win a majority in Parliament with a combined strength of 110 constituency seats, while ZanuPF garnered 99 seats and an independent got one seat. This was the first time since independence in 1980 that the opposition commanded the majority in Parliament. So, clearly, in 2008 Tsvangirai was propelled by the solid parliamentary performance of the MDC formations. The same structural dynamic was conspicuously absent for Chamisa in the just ended harmonised general election. Chamisa ran a solo presidential election campaign and, predictably, it went horribly wrong. The fact that CCC did not field local authority candidates in 90 wards made a bad situation worse for Chamisa, and it was further compounded by the fact that CCC did not have ground structures to harness and harvest from the loose and unreliable protest vote, especially in the wards and constituencies outside CCC strongholds, which in fact used to be MDC strongholds in the days of Morgan Tsvangirai!show more

Good morning from the Global Sumud Flotilla. We were... on alert last night because of increased drone activity, but all is well today. As of this morning, we are 39 boats sailing together (a few had to be left behind in Sicily), and I’ve been told six more are ready to meet us from Greece on Wednesday. I’ll record a proper video update later today, but we’re now just FIVE DAYS from the ‘orange line’ where we **could** face Israeli interception, and ONE WEEK from the shores of Gaza. This morning we’ve been doing more training for interception. As always, the emphasis is on non-violence. Gaza, we are coming 🇵🇸❤️show more

💔 ROBERTS AND BARRETT JUST STABBED US IN THE... BACK. AGAIN. The Supreme Court ruled today in Watson v. RNC that states do not have to receive mail-in ballots by Election Day for them to count. Postmarked by Election Day is good enough. Your ballot can wander through the postal system for days after the polls close and still be counted. And who wrote the majority opinion? Amy Coney Barrett. Who joined her? John Roberts. Along with Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson. The usual liberal bloc did what the usual liberal bloc does. But Barrett and Roberts had the power to stop this and chose not to. This is not a surprise from Roberts at this point. But Barrett? This is the justice we were promised would be different. This is the justice we fought for. This is the justice who just handed the left exactly what they wanted on mail-in ballot integrity. Five to four. One vote. That is the margin by which election integrity lost today. Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, and Kavanaugh dissented. Alito was scathing. He wrote that allowing ballots to pour in after Election Day, while preliminary results are already being reported publicly, creates greater opportunity for fraud and risks further destroying public confidence in our elections. He is right. He has always been right on this. Here is what this means on the ground. States can now set their own deadlines for when mail-in ballots must be received after Election Day. Mississippi had five days. Washington State has twenty-one days. Twenty-one days of ballots trickling in after you thought the election was over. Think about what that looks like. Think about what that feels like to watch. You know exactly what it feels like. We have all lived it. Alito said it plainly in his dissent. When thousands of absentee ballots flow in after Election Day and potentially flip the result of an election, charges of a rigged election explode. He cited research showing that drawn-out ballot counting produces a large and significant decrease in Americans' trust in elections. We did not need a study to tell us that. The Save America Act, if passed, could address some of this going forward through Congress. But today's ruling makes clear that the legislative route is now the only route. The Court just took the judicial option off the table. Roberts and Barrett handed that decision to the same Congress where we are still fighting for a real majority. Barrett and Roberts folded. Again. Remember this the next time someone tells you that winning the White House is enough. It is not enough if the judges we are told to trust keep crossing the line when it matters most. Personnel is policy. And today, our personnel failed us.show more

The highlight of the past election was how technology... disrupted ZANU PF's rigging strategy. They used ZANU PF's member register to move those who are not their members from their traditional polling stations in cities. They gerrymandered the electoral maps and then created double candidates. In every step, Team Pachedu followed them and highlighted these discrepencies and pointed areas of focus. Zimbabwe Electoral Commission refused with the voters roll. Pple didn't know where to vote & the double candidates made it so they don't know who to vote for. A week before elections we released CredibleVote Bots on Whatsapp and Android which completely disrupted the ZEC-ZANU plan. 487 000 pple checked where & who to vote for in 5 days and 84% of these were in Hre, 10% in Byo. By our calculation, CCC wld hve potentially lost 32 seats without this. On election day, CredibleVote had 2 war rooms. One in Mashonaland & the other Matabeleland far away cities powered by satellite internet. We deployed Meshtastic repeaters across the country to cover areas without network. Maximum range we got was 53km but repeaters made it we cld get results from 150km away. We also had MQTT servers that relayed this info to our result servers. All this work was done by volunteers outside of CCC. The only thing we asked of CCC was that they shld have polling agents at every polling station. Then the issue of resources came up. We again built the #Mazizi platform to crowdsource from supporters & that raised $105K which was miniscule compared to the need. This setup was novel and it was a culmination of 2yrs of planning, coding & deployment by pple who didn't have a stake in CCC. I believe ZANU PF & the State machinery never knew abt our work. They raided ZESN probably after the noise by Team Pachedu about Mandla. That did not affect the Crediblevote work at all. Results were coming in from our network , from CCC agents and we also opened a crowd platform for anyone to send V11. In the backend we were using computer vision & language models to read V11s & sort them. There were 3 tiers of validation. Our roving agents had highest trust, then CCC agents, then the crowd. In the first 48hrs after elections, we received & validated results from 10500 polling stations. We got a further 1600 from CCC as some agents chose to hand deliver their V11 etc... I had a meeting with Nelson Chamisa & presented him with what we had. We had close to 350 V11s from Mash East & West which had no stamps and the agents were saying ZEC had said they didn't have stamps but ZANU PF agents were bringing stamped V11 pointing to conniving with Zimbabwe Electoral Commission NC, said we shld wait for ZEC to release their results. Unlike in 2018, Zimbabwe Electoral Commission chose to not release their results from each polling station. They used bruteforce to ram unsubstantiated numbers to pple. The responsibility of a credible election lies on the electoral board and nobody else. We had a debate as to whether we shld just release all the ~12100 results we had or not. The SADC report came out and it became clear that the most logical thing to do was reject the whole process & all results given the irregularities that SADC also acknowledged. I was shocked & distraught when folks chose to go parliament. In the end, I think the gun prevailed as it always temporarily does. What we showed is that no process run by the military can ever wield a product that represents the will of the pple. I have written this to highlight the power of volunteers, technology & commitment in challenging autocratic systems. I hope in future others will build on top of our work. I wish I cld thank all the volunteers by name but you know yourselves.show more

🚨 Exposing Democrat Senator Jon Ossoff’s Ossoff's Office Ties... to Radical, pro-Open Border Group That Tracked Georgia Mail-in Ballots During His Runoff Election 🚨 Given his voting record in support of shutting down the government to provide taxpayer-funded healthcare to illegal aliens, it's clear that Democrat, Georgia United States Senator Jon Ossoff is a big supporter of Chuck Schumer’s Chuck Schumer radical, open borders policies. However, what is often overlooked is that Ossoff may have the most radical open borders stances in the entire United States Senate. For starters, Ossoff’s ground game for ballot chasing in Georgia is comprised of radical open borders fanatics who want to abolish ICE. CASA in Action, a 501(c)(4) which CASA, a 501c3 nonprofit, refers to as its “sister organization,” deployed an army of door knockers and mail-in ballot trackers to Georgia for Jon Ossoff’s runoff election. An X post on January 5th, 2021, from the CASA in Action X account shows a video of an individual in Georgia holding pro-Ossoff flyers and appearing to knock on doors. In the video, the individual states: “I'm voting for Warnock and Ossoff because if we control the Senate, we can get rid of the parts of the past four years that we don't like. And I want to push for even more change. And I want to say thanks to CASA in Action for coming out to all the Houses, knocking on doors and making sure we're all out there to make sure that change happens.” RECEIPTS 👇🏻show more

Vitaliks mandarin fluency is a super bullish signal for... Ethereum 🐂 He had an open town hall at HK where community members asked him all sorts of questions, from the easy to the difficult The hard questions were all in Mandarin so i couldn't follow those 😅 At the town hall he laid out the guiding principle for Ethereum: cooperation without domination It's especially important in today's world where a powerful person dictates terms and others have to follow, or we have no cooperation & there's chaos What this means at a technical level is that Ethereums the world computer & we need to build enough trust that developers feel comfortable building apps on top of it. Solo staking, a conservative approach to changing the protocol etc are all part of this He also spoke on how new technology is a reset & creates a level playing field where the game starts again from zero with bringing a lot more people right to the frontier We are seeing this with AI (and zk too), where a noob developer can still catch up to a veteran with good prompt engineering. He shared his own experience of building an android app for the first time using AI despite having no prior experience in it Before people would say that EF needs to write more documentation. Now it's more relevant to show how deep seek integrations with solidity and Java can help easily create new Ethereum apps He sees AI as making it much easier for newcomers to build web3 apps & is making a push in this directionshow more

So This demos are now taking interesting pathways .... So juzi I got intel some people in the village where I operate a factory ( the only industry that employs locals in that area ) were planing to attack and burn equipments and loot ! Then i paused and reflected all this destruction you are seeing around for businesses is fueled by jealousy and some competitor fueled where they target certain Businesses! Well I had to pay my dues to the police to protect the premises but I kept thinking if we had second amendment in our constitution I would be 2 guns up with uzis ready clear the scene for any private properties intruders ! You see this lawless doesn’t discriminate for whoever you voted 🗳️ Having experienced post election violence since I was 12 years old I know the script so well and how such end ups . My message today for people blocking the roads and causing destruction resulting to sad loss of life utilize that kind of power at the ballot .! Use your head to vote in right leaders don’t vote with emotions as it was seen in 2022 ! Profile the candidates on those ballots don’t vote for parties ! You see election ends up at the nomination where crooks get popular parties tickets 🎟️ do away with voting parties go for characters with the right integrity , don’t vote individuals because they pour money during campaigns money doesn’t result to leadership first interrogate where that person dishing money at campaigns how he gain it !!! Stop voting in bad leadership and crying on social media and on the streets every 5 years ! That’s all for today !show more

Strait of Hormuz over the last 24 hours: another... "calm before the storm" moment? On the escalation front, some of the OSINT accounts pointed out that the recent attacks point to a ground operation. I have no idea on that front, so I will leave the experts to it. But from a flow perspective, we are back to the start. Kpler has done a good job tracking shadow transits, and even though the data might not get revised for a few days, it is obvious the slowdown is coming. The last 2 days, flows were 0.074 and 0.198 million bbls. The previous 5 days were 5.516 million b/d. This brings the weekly average to 3.98 million b/d. Looking at the video from MarineTraffic, you can see that it's about as quiet as quiet gets. Iranian flows will also slow to nothing as the US naval blockade is in place. With the recent US/Iran escalation moving to civilian targets, who knows where we go from here...show more

‼️IRREFUTABLE FACTS ABOUT Q • ANONS • JFK JR... • AND "THE STORM"‼️ ---------- 🎯 "The storm is upon us" tweet Q told us to look for came directly from the OG John F. Kennedy Jr. account [Patriot1776🇺🇸] - which at the time was the most popular OG anon account. 🎯 [Patriot1776🇺🇸] used Trump's official POTUS seal as its avatar and an original photograph - uncirculated at the time - as it's header/background. this account was nuanced, trusted and was "Q'd" more than once. 🎯 according to Q - "THE TWEET" was to be posted when "The Storm" began. 🎯 ALL ANONS were purged from the internet on January 6, 2021 - this was "The Storm". 🎯 Patriot1776🇺🇸's last TWEET before being purged was sent at 7:17 PM • Jan 6, 2021 [timestamp] - and was EXACTLY what "The Storm" tweet was meant to be - down to the dots. ‼️THE STORM TWEET WAS A DECLARATION - A MOST IMPORTANT MARKER TO THE PLAN THAT MOST MISSED‼️ 🎯 WE [ANONS] WERE SUPPOSED TO LOOK - AND WE DID - BUT ALL OG's WERE PURGED THAT DAY - SO WE WERE UNABLE TO CONFIRM FOR ALL PUBLICLY. WE WERE GONE. 🎯 Q said exactly, "Look to Twitter: Exactly this: "My fellow "Americans, the Storm is upon us......." 🎯 Q NEVER said, "Look to X..." 🎯 Q NEVER said, "Look to Trump's Twitter account..." 🎯 on 12/12/2018 - Q conducted a Q&A session with anons where 2 different anons asked Q the same question, "is JFK Jr alive?". initially, Q answered no - the same question was asked five minutes later, but the word ALIVE was in all caps; Q answered yes. the links and responses below are still there today - and there's nothing anyone can do about it. you have a YES and a NO - and you just have to choose for yourself. 🎯 on November 2, 2021 - George Soros hired & paid a few hundred LARPS to gather at Dealey Plaza in Dallas where they posed as MAGA/Anons and held a fake rally for JFK Jr. that had nothing to do with MAGA, Q or anons. this was designed to make anons look unhinged, knowing we could not defend ourselves publicly - while simultaneously conflating Q with MAGA who were also infiltrated on January 6 - BUT were NOT purged from the internet. they infiltrated MAGA to turn them against Q - knowing that we had woken up the world. 🎯 REMEMBER - at this time anons were disappeared from the internet completely - we had no way to respond or reply to anyone anywhere as we were ALL deplatformed - not until almost a year later in February 2022 when Trump launched TruthSocial did we have a chance to post again publicly. it didn't matter, the damage was done, and was permanent - to this day. ----------show more

IS THUNE THE PROBLEM OR IS THE RINO SENATE... THE REAL DISEASE?! Trump has demanded it publicly, more than once. Terminate the filibuster. Pass the SAVE America Act. Get voter ID and citizenship verification into law before Democrats can steal another election. Thune's answer has been the same every time. The math isn't there. Funny how the math is never there for anything MAGA wants, yet somehow the math always works out for judges Bush and Clinton got confirmed by voice vote decades ago. Here's the truth nobody in Washington wants to say out loud. Thune isn't an accident. He's a McConnell protege who climbed to power the same way McConnell always operated, by protecting the institution instead of the movement that built the majority. Cornyn was cut from the same cloth. Same instincts. Same reflex to play defense for the swamp instead of offense for the country. Texas voters saw it and ended his career. Paxton beat him by more than twenty points. But here's the uncomfortable question. If we replace Thune tomorrow, who takes his place? A 53 seat majority still needs 60 votes for most legislation. If the next senators in line are cut from the same establishment cloth as Thune and Cornyn, we haven't fixed anything. We've just changed the face on the podium. The real fight isn't one man. It's a Senate culture that treats the filibuster like sacred scripture while the country burns. Until primary voters send true America First fighters to Washington in bulk, not just one or two at a time, the swamp will keep finding a new Thune every single time. Draining the swamp was never a one man job. It's a decade long war, and the RINOs are counting on us getting tired first.show more

Wow. WOW. WOOOOOOOW. So um, that first Wildcard+Thousands stream... was... *amazing* and also... a *lot* 😅 In the end, it was *exactly* what we were hoping for - a true stress test of ALL these systems coming together for the first time. We are SO grateful for the thousands of people who showed up today to play, attend, tune-in and help us PLAYTEST all this new stuff. We can't wait to see you all again at NEXT WEEK'S EX2 EVENT! So, now let's talk about how it went... Stuff that worked: - Our community SHOWED UP. Oh boy did you show up 😅. Our servers were straining under the load... which is good actually, in fact it's the whole point. Even more importantly, we have already received insanely valuable feedback, bug reports, stuff people loved/hated - and it's only been a few hours since the stream ended. I can't even explain to y'all how valuable this process is. Yes it's stressful, it reminds me of trying to keep Words With Friends online during that first insane year, but it's EXACTLY what we were hoping for (NEED) to turn this into the polished, top-notch game and streaming experience we are on a mission to deliver. I truly can't thank y'all enough, and hope to see you again when we run it all back again next week 🥹 - The stream itself stayed up and was mostly stable! Phew 😅. For context, ThousandsTV is not a twitch wrapper, it's a web3-native streaming tech stack built we built specifically to connect game, web/mobile, and blockchain together all at the same time. There are a LOT of moving pieces going on behind the scenes. - We brought viewers INTO THE GAME! Viewers showed up in the stands of the arena, with connected wallets/assets, triggered actions/rallies from chat, and were seen and heard during the whole stream. - The brand new 2v2 build of Wildcard was (mostly) stable and our players and viewers seemed to be having a blast down on the field and up in the stands. It was thrilling to watch Team Blue dominate, even though Team Red held their own in game 3! - Our production crew did an insanely good job running the stream, managing the players, shoutcasters, and talent, and producing a top-notch show. Of course we will work hard to make every stream better than the last, but I was super proud of how our team "rolled with the punches" during today's event. Stuff that didn't work (and/or needs to be dramatically improved): - Although it's fun to see chat going crazy, chat spam is actually something we are passionate to FIX. As you can see from the attached video, chat spam dominated today's stream and made it impossible for anyone to even see anyone else's messages. We have some GREAT ideas for how to fix this and actually turn chat spam into a FUN and exciting and not annoying thing - but those improvements didn't get shipped in time for this event. - Credits purchasing flow needs a LOT of work. As I'm sure y'all know, bringing money on chain is pretty complicated, and although we've been working hard to make this as seamless as possible, it still needs a TON of improvements. Many users who WANTED to spend money today weren't able to and/or ran into frustrating bugs in the credit purchase flow. Fixing this is obviously a top priority for our team. - Rallies need a LOT of work. Spectator-interactive features like rallies are at the heart of our vision for Wildcard. These "stream apps", as we call them, are the UNLOCK for how spectators, viewers and fans directly connect and interact with their favorite competitors, content creators, and communities. The current rally feature HINTS at this potential, but it needs to be WAY easier to understand, use, and have fun with. Improvements are ON THE WAY. - Referees were only partially working. Referees are a key innovation of the Thousands platform. They are AI-driven "personalities" (NPCs) that pay attention to everything that's happening in the arena, both on the field and especially in the stands (i.e. in chat, during rallies, etc.) The referees then make "calls" at the end of every match, rewarding users for their engagement and participation. Unfortunately, the referees weren't fully functional and seemed to drop the ball on recognizing everyone's contributions (especially people who showed up holding valuable assets such as Wildpasses in their wallets, and people who boosted those rallies with credits.) What's happening next: 1. We are combing through ALL the logs from the event right now, to make sure we don't miss a SINGLE action that our viewers and fans took during the event, including what they brought in their wallets (i.e. Wildpass holders!), any credits that were purchased, rallies that users engaged with, etc. This information is normally processed by our referees, who then determine dynamically how they're going to distribute $WC awards. We were originally hoping to complete this process and the subsequent airdrops within a few hours after the event, but given the amount of data, we need a bit more time to run these scripts (and airdrops) in batches instead of all at once, and make sure ALL of the data is being included. IMPORTANT: I will keep y'all updated in real-time here on twitter/X as this process is ongoing, and let you know the moment it's complete and all the awards have been distributed (i.e. when to go check your wallets 😎) 2. PLEASE keep sending us your feedback and bug reports. Open a ticket on our Discord and let us know what you loved, what you hated, and especially what we need to FIX. Given the overwhelming response to this event, it will likely take us several days to process everyone's feedback and fix all the bugs, but we WILL NOT REST until every ticket is closed/resolved. Thank you in advance for your patience. 3. We turn it up another notch next week. As our dear friends Wolves DAO just announced, the Wildcard Exhibition Event #2 is streaming LIVE from the WOLVES DEN AT GDC next Friday! If you missed out on all the action today, DON'T WORRY, because as I keep saying: we are just getting warmed up (and there is a LOT more b that needs to be distributed, get what I'm sayin??? 😎) Finally: Just wanted to say THANK YOU, again. Truly, from the bottom of my (our) hearts. Your excitement and enthusiasm for what we're building is why we do this. Even (especially, in fact) when you tell us all the things you want us to improve. We thrive off this feedback, it's how this game and this platform go from good to GREAT. I am so grateful for those of you who are taking this journey with us. SEE YA NEXT WEEK!!!show more

It's so painful to wish your own national team... to lose. It's difficult to explain, but it didn't happen over night. Slowly but surely we realized our team doesn't represent us, and works as tool of the regime that has tormented us for 47 years. Sport doesn't bring Iranians together anymore. It's a stark reminder of Islamic Republic's crimes and why we hate it. The salt on the wound is FIFA's full cooperation with Islamic Republic as there was almost no footage of Iranian fans, because they were showing lion and sun flags and chanting anti Islamic Republic slogans. Before the offside was called, only a single Iranian fan was shown and it was a zoom to her face. I doubt anywhere in the stadium could provide a "politically correct" camera shot from the attending Iranians, as the majority carried lion and sun flags and other anti-regime flags and banners. These are the majority and real Iranians, whether the world likes it or not. The Lion and Sun will rise again.show more

Retired Police Chief Peter Bright and his daughter Jen... Kemalian were in attendance last night to witness a truly historic moment in Canton. Following the interview of Chief Daniels, the Select Board voted 4–0 to appoint him as the town’s next Police Chief. It was a full-circle moment for Chief Bright, who served Canton from 1995–2005, following John Ruane Jr. (1986–1995). The role then passed to Ken Berkowitz (2005–2022), followed by Helena Rafferty (2022–2025). A rare night where past, present, and future leadership all shared the same room and the baton was officially passed once again. Jen Kemalian has been mentioned by many as a potential successor to Charlie Doody when he eventually retires. If that were to happen, she would assume the role of Town Administrator a position that serves as the direct supervisor of the Police Chief. In other words, depending on future decisions, last night’s audience may have included not just past leadership, but someone who could one day sit at the very top of the town’s organizational chart.show more

They brought it on themselves. Baku reacted to the... murder of its sailors Ukrainian attack drones struck two civilian vessels in the Taganrog Bay. The targets were the Belizean-flagged cargo ship "Natra" and the Palauan-flagged ship "Zircon". They were due to pick up a grain cargo in Rostov-on-Don for shipment to Turkey. Each ship was hit by four drones. The attacks killed five people - Azerbaijani citizens. In addition, three unnamed civilian vessels were also attacked in the same area. "It's important to emphasize: the sailors who died were serving voluntarily, this was not a state policy," Baku effectively disavowed its fellow citizens. "Azerbaijanis working abroad, especially near war and conflict zones, should be extremely cautious. No one can guarantee safety in such areas." The deaths of our compatriots are tragic news for their families and the entire society. That's why Azerbaijani citizens should stay away from such risks and not become involved in processes where the cost of a mistake could be too high." Azerbaijan was more concerned about the broken windows of its embassy in Kyiv. But in general, after the attacks on the grain carriers, we should finally start sinking all ships entering and leaving Ukrainian ports. In the Black Sea, we recall, we have six Project 636.3 "Varshavyanka" diesel-electric submarines. Their 533-millimeter torpedoes are more than enough to paralyze any shipping of the enemy.show more

Late Night NotebookLM release notes from a busy week!... 1. Slide Decks 🎉 - the freedom it gives you to turn anything into a story is incredible. Probably the first Nano Banana Pro fully dependent product. People are exploring fonts, styles, tips & tricks, but most of all stoke. so cool to see! 2. Infographics 🎉- capture the true essence of your sources in a creative but informative single image. You can use the Custom prompt to also make amazing Worksheets to accompany a lesson! Tobi talked about it. Maybe we should make question and answer sheets a clear option 3. Custom Style prompting for Visual Overviews - direct access to the model... 4. Thinking UX! this one was a while coming but we're gonna roll out a mvp and get moving (hoho). More informative soon. 5. Longer custom personas. You can now go up to 5k chars instead of the previous measly 500.... If you need more, LMK. 6. a bit "bold", but the "create notebook +" button at the top of every notebook. We'll probably collapse this into a smaller affordance, but wanted to get a quick workflow enhancer in there for people that don't know how to get to the homescreen. We'll do more on workflows. 7. Shout out to the TPUs which are definitely melting, and thank you all for the enthusiasm this week! More soon!show more

Hey everyone! Before we play our first match, I’d... like to share a bit about our offseason. This is one of the most important times of the year for any team, and we made sure to make the most of it. We started tryouts with only 8 days of rest after the previous season ended. We didn’t waste a second. We wanted to be ready, and to do so, we tested between 30 and 35 players, becoming the team that conducted the most tryouts. We gave opportunities to everyone: players with previous experience, those without, T2 players, ranked grinders… If we saw potential, we opened the doors. Our goal was clear from the start: find young grinders hungry to compete and eager to learn. We were looking for talent we could develop and take to the top here at GIANTX. This reflects our philosophy: not just signing stars but building them, betting on the future, and nurturing young talent. I also want to give a massive shoutout to GX Cloud and Liquid purp0 , who worked tirelessly to make this offseason a success. Thanks to their efforts, we were able to secure not only the best players in terms of skill but also those who align perfectly in terms of synergy and personal values. It’s been an intense and exciting offseason full of key decisions. Now, we’re ready to take on the new season with everything we’ve got. If you have any questions about the process, feel free to leave them in the comments. I’ll do my best to answer them as soon as possible! Or maybe I will make a post with answers on most of them in one big postshow more

God Bless the NIG Police for doing right.show more

💩 SOMEBODY EXPLAIN JOHN ROBERTS TO US. BECAUSE WE... CANNOT FIGURE HIM OUT! George W. Bush nominated John Roberts to the Supreme Court in 2005. He was confirmed 78 to 22. Republicans were thrilled. Conservatives had high hopes. He was supposed to be one of us. That was twenty one years ago. Let us look at what we got. Roberts was the deciding vote that saved Obamacare. Twice. In 2012 he rewrote the individual mandate as a tax to make it constitutional when it clearly was not. In 2015 he twisted the plain language of the statute to save it again when the text of the law was clearly on our side. The left was as shocked as we were that he saved it. And then he did it again. He sided with the liberals to strike down Louisiana's abortion clinic regulations in 2020, regulations nearly identical to ones he had previously voted to uphold. He joined the liberals to protect DACA, shielding Obama's unconstitutional amnesty program from being unwound by a Republican president. Today he joined Barrett and the three liberal justices to rule that mail in ballots do not need to be received by Election Day. On an election integrity case, with a Republican president in the White House fighting for the outcome, Roberts went the other way. This is not a one time thing. This is not a coincidence. This is a pattern spanning two decades. Roberts has voted with the liberal bloc on healthcare, immigration, abortion, and now election integrity. The cases that matter most to this movement are the cases where Roberts most often finds a reason to walk across the aisle. His defenders say he is protecting the institutional integrity of the Court. That he is playing a long game. That he is keeping the Court from appearing too political. Here is the problem with that argument. The left does not worry about appearing too political. They never have. They fight for every inch and they do not apologize for it. While Roberts is busy protecting the reputation of an institution, the institution keeps handing defeats to the people who believed in it. We are not asking for a rubber stamp. We are asking for a justice who applies the Constitution as written without one eye permanently fixed on what the New York Times editorial board is going to say the next morning. Alito does that. Thomas does that. Gorsuch does that. Roberts has given us twenty one years of carefully crafted, institutionally minded, reputation protecting decisions that keep landing on the wrong side of the most important fights of our time. George W. Bush picked him. Make of that what you will.show more

A brave Lebanese photo journalist who is still based... in Nabatieh was able to capture at least one Merkava tank burning in the outskirts of Arnoun Castle, on the outskirts of Nabatieh region, after a failed Israeli invasion attempt from Yohmor village towards the strategic hill top. The resistance did announce earlier targeting 3 Merkava tanks with ATGMs, while Israeli evacuation helicopters were seen at least 3 times today evacuating Israeli casulaties from the battlefield. The blackout imposed on the area by the Israelis warning everyone for complete evacuation of entire South Lebanon and targeting cars on the roads lead to very few journalists able to access the area and report the situation. I added a video for the area for the audience to understand the location and geography of the scenes, where Arnoun castle sits on a hill top located 5 kms away from the borders, and is elevated 700 m above sea level and 300 meters above its outskirts. more than 200 Israeli airstrikes attacked the vilages in direct outskirts of Arnoun and Yohmor and Zawtar in the last 48 hours, with continuous artillery shelling. I was not able to reach there today after the road i usually take, Zefta, was warned and bombed. Yesterday, the same road witnessed an ugly attack against a truck loaded with horses, their owner was trying to evacuate them from his farm in Zefta village. These images coming from the frontline are very important as they dismantle the Israeli systematic psychological warfare on our people about an "easy invasion", and depict the reality on the ground they are facing despite all their unlimited fire power and unchalleged air superiority due to unconditional and open western support.show more
