An Italian man has been sentenced to seven months... in jail for an “impossible” crime after he attempted to cheat a Singaporean watch dealer by selling a rare Rolex he believed was fake, only for it to be later confirmed as genuine. Deepak Singh, 24, pleaded guilty on Monday to one count of attempting to cheat. The court found that even though the Rolex GMT Saru timepiece was authentic, Singh’s clear intention to deceive was sufficient to constitute a crime, CNA reported. The bizarre case concluded with Singh being jailed for trying to pull off a scam that, due to facts unknown to him, could never have succeeded. According to BILD, 21-year-old Abdul Ballut, who is wanted in connection with the attack on Berlin's LGBTQ+ parade, may be a supporter of the Islamic State terrorist group. A German citizen of Lebanese descent, he was born in Berlin in 2005 and was previously known to police for serious assault and extortion. Ballut was released from a juvenile detention facility in May 2026. Police have previously confirmed that he is associated with Berlin's Islamist scene. [SANGOMA APPEARS IN COURT FOR PREMEDITATED MURDER] A Lesotho... National Sangoma, Sebokoana Khounyana (50), appeared at the Vanderbijlpark Magistrates’ Court on charges of premeditated murder and Human trafficking of a 02-year-old baby Kutlwano Shalaba. A charge of premeditated murder was added against the mother Keneilwe Portia Shalaba (32), who was previously facing charges of human trafficking, conspiracy to commit robbery and making a false statement to the police. It is alleged that on 10 November 2024, the mother of the child took the child to the sangoma and requested him to kill her child because she was not happy with the gender of the baby and was tired of hiding it from her family that in fact, the child was a girl. The mother then allegedly fed the baby poison and after the baby died it is alleged that the two took the child and buried her body in a shallow grave in Waterpan After investigations by the police, the sangoma was arrested on 29 May 2025 and he subsequently made a confession and pointed out to the police about where the body of the child was buried. In court, the matter was postponed to 05 June 2025, for legal representation for the sangoma. The state intends to oppose his release on bail. The court previously denied the mother's release on bail.show more

BREAKING: A life insurance payout may have been the... motive behind the killing of 41-year-old Salom Nikanor, the Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court heard this morning. Andreas Sunday Kanyanga (25) appeared in court on charges of murder and obstructing or defeating the course of justice. He was remanded in custody as police investigations continue. The State alleges that Kanyanga, a soldier, had taken out a life insurance policy on Nikanor. Prosecutors claim that while facing financial difficulties, Kanyanga allegedly killed Nikanor after becoming impatient that he was “taking long to die”, in order to claim the insurance payout. Opposing bail, prosecutor Naledi ||Hoeses told the court that the offence is serious and violent in nature. She alleged that Nikanor was unlawfully killed and that his body was later dumped in a water pan. The State further indicated that evidence points to mutilation of the body, demonstrating a high degree of violence and cruelty. ||Hoeses argued that granting bail at this stage would jeopardise ongoing investigations, including the recovery and forensic analysis of exhibits, outstanding post-mortem reports, and the tracing and questioning of key witnesses. Kanyanga was informed of his right to legal representation and indicated that he intends to apply for a government-funded lawyer. He was also advised of his right to bring a formal bail application, which the State said it would oppose. The court ordered that Kanyanga remain in custody at the Ondangwa police cells. This is the story the media seems to have... buried and forgotten. Back in March 2026, a late-night trip to a Waffle House in Richardson, Texas turned into absolute chaos when gunfire erupted after an argument between two groups escalated into violence. According to police, multiple people in both groups pulled out guns and started firing. Seth Jackson was not there looking for trouble. He had just gotten off work late and stopped at the Waffle House to grab food with friends. When he saw several people attacking one of his friends, he ran toward the altercation to help. He never even made it within 15 feet. Before he could reach them, Seth was struck by a bullet. The shooting left the young man catastrophically injured and fighting for his life. Investigators later announced three arrests (one was a minor) connected to the violence surrounding the incident, and officials have stated that additional arrests are expected. But the shooter who nearly killed Seth is STILL free. The charges don’t seem match the crime. Meanwhile, Seth has spent the last year fighting through hospitals, surgeries, and grueling rehabilitation. And here is the breaking update the media should be talking about right now: Seth is HOME. He is continuing rehabilitation. And Friday night, Seth Jackson graduated WITH HONORS. In a wheelchair. He rolled himself across that stage himself. This young man worked two jobs before the shooting. He had already been accepted to the University of Houston. He had his future ahead of him before a senseless act of violence changed everything in seconds. Yet despite all of it, despite the pain, despite the rehabilitation, despite the life-altering injuries, he crossed that graduation stage with honors. That should have been national news. Instead, this story was buried and forgotten while the person who pulled the trigger remains free. The Yantrodharaka Hanumat Stotram is a hymn in the praise of Lord Hanuman written by Shri Vyasaraja (Vyasatirtha). One day, when sage Vyasaraja was meditating on the banks of River Tungabhadra, he obtained a vision of Lord Hanuman. In order to capture this vision, he etched an image of a monkey on a rock. To his great surprise, the monkey from the illustration came alive. So, he etched an image once again. But, a live monkey materialised from the image once more. So, he repeated this process twelve times. After the twelfth time, he drew a monkey and encased it within a geometric pattern (a yantra) so that it wouldn't incarnate. Hence, the idol came to be known as the 'Yantrodharaka Hanuman' or the 'Hanuman held in the yantra'. Today, one finds a temple around this idol, known as the Yantrodharaka Hanuman Temple, near Hampi.show more
