Little four year-old boy had been eating a hamburger... at a barbecue and started complaining about intense pain in his ear . The family took him to the ER. They did x-rays found nothing. Of course the pain continued. About 10 days in they take them again to the emergency room where they finally do a CAT scan and they see a 2 cm wire from a wire barbecue brush lodged in his tissue, which had formed an abscess. He was treated after having the wire removed and he was fine, but here’s the thing.. be very careful when you use wire barbecue brushes because the wires can get mixed in with your food and cause stomach obstructions, or something similar to what happened to this little boy.show more

This guy shows a genius low-tech way to clamp... and pull a split wooden board back together using just rope, a couple of nails, and some wire. He loops the rope around the boards, hammers in two nails as anchors, wraps wire around them, then uses a third nail like a lever to twist the wire super tight. The twisting creates incredible clamping pressure that squeezes the crack closed perfectly — no fancy clamps, no shop tools, nothing. One thing that makes me pause though — would you consider this the correct way to fix this for good? Where’s the wood glue? It’s an amazing temporary clamp, but I’m curious what you think about making it permanent. Ever tried something like this, or do you have your own favorite homemade clamp hack?show more

Hydraulic Exchange Technique: super useful in complex PCI/CTO work.... Quick way to get a microcatheter off a short wire without a 300cm wire, trapper, or trapping balloon. Connect an indeflator to the microcatheter, pressurize to 20 atm (it drops constantly, so keep bumping it back up), and just open the Touhy and microcatheter will come out right away. The hydraulic force pushes the catheter back on its own while keeping the wire in position. I don’t do it over a hydrophilic wire as it can jump forward and cause a tip perforation. I use a workhorse wire. Video below Credit to J Aaron Grantham JAG for teaching me such valuable skills! Well, I’m not here to exchange words with you, I’m just begging you to tone down on the manner you use fake life to pressure our young girls into feeling like failures and subsequently engaging in lifestyles that will destroy them in future. NEW: Gov. Greg Abbott has threatened to pull $110... million dollars in public safety grants from Houston over its recent policy barring local police from waiting 30 minutes for ICE to arrive at a scene to detain individuals with immigration warrants. Tomorrow, the Houston City Council will meet to decide whether to rescind the policy. In an interview w/ Daily Wire, Abbott said if Houston digs in their heels, "they forfeit the money" and must "repay to the state every single dollar they have received." "As President Trump sometimes says, they have no cards. We have all the cards in this, and they are going to lose, and they're not going to be able to balance their budget."show more

NEW: Video from source in Eagle Pass shows Border... Patrol cutting through razor wire placed by the state of TX to allow migrants to enter & be processed after crossing illegally. Texas DPS tells me this is the first time they know of this happening, and that it’s being looked into for potential destruction of TX property. The federal government’s position is that once migrants are on U.S. soil, under U.S. law, they need to be processed, and cannot be repelled or turned away. Texas is taking a much different approach, and has been physically blocking migrants under orders from Governor Greg Abbott. TXDPS tells me the location this video was shot at is private property, and that they have permission from the owner to lay down razor wire and arrest migrants for criminal trespassing. This Border Patrol agent is likely just doing what he’s been told - but this will likely lead to more friction between TX & the Feds, who have drastically different approaches at the border.show more

Russell Crowe says he accidentally spit on Denzel Washington... during his audition for Virtuosity “Denzel and I have been mates since then and it comes from that screen test. He already had the gig. There's four guys going for it. So he's got to put up with four guys yelling at him all day because that was the scene. I'm doing this scene with him and it's between this wire mesh fence between us, and the character I'm playing embodies 180 something different serial killers. And my character's getting a bit crazy” “So I'm cranking up, going through the gears, and at one point in time, I'm really sort of yelling at him, and then this bit of spittle comes out of my mouth and somehow just floats through the air and wends its way through the wire fence, and it lands on Denzel's lip” “I got to do the rest of the scene staring at this piece of my spit on his face, thinking that there's no way I have this job now. I just spat on the man. And when we get to the end of the scene, they say, ‘Cut,’ and he doesn't do anything. He just wipes his lip and looks at me straight in the eye and goes, ‘I love the taste of warm saliva in the morning’”show more

#RICONATION: Another weird Roc Nation occurrence! Luxury automotive retailer... RD Whittington claims Lil Uzi purchased a car (for his less fortunate girlfriend) using Ethereum. During this purchase he claims Uzi told him he could not send a wire with the cash so he opted to use crypto, and that it was his first purchase without Roc Nation's approval. Why would an artist need a business management company's approval to make purchases and access their own founds. Managers simply facilitate business, what would be the reason Uzi is not able to access his own money without Roc Nation's approval ? Why have to use a form of crypto and not be able to send the wire for purchase? If this indeed true it sounds troubling and almost slave like. How could an artist work for millions but the manager (who is supposed to be employed by the artist and not the other way around) gets to decide how those funds you've worked for are spent. Jay-z has prided himself on artists independence and freedom but this sounds like another shady business deal if it is true. What kind of paperwork did Uzi sign that he has to get approval to use his own money? Roc Nation Mr. Carter Uzi London 🌎☄️💕®show more

Does anyone have any theories on this person? He... has a paypal account that he accepts donations at and that would certainly identify him. He asks people to meet him in person and do his "deflocking" with him. Who would connect with strangers online to meet up with in person to go and do illegal things with? Wouldn't you worry a police officer would meet up with you? He doesn't really do much damage to the cameras. He puts a sticker on them and cuts a wire. Is he just putting on a show for money? Is he actually hired by Flock for some strange reason? Or something else?show more

Right now the main paradigm that we think of... agents in is chatting back and forth, but the biggest use of tokens will come from agents that are just always on running in the background doing work for us, or ones triggered from a workflow. Agents will be working 24/7 in our workflows processing data, reviewing and generating documents, moving data between systems, writing code, accelerating decision making steps, and more. In Claude's new Managed Agents feature, in a couple minutes you can wire up an agent that can read contracts when they come into Box to review them, and then assign a task in Linear with the critical information from the contract. But this could have been any workflow, like reviewing documents for client onboarding, invoice processing, M&A due-diligence, data extraction pipelines, and millions of other use-cases. And integrating data across any system. This is only possible when you can have long-running agents that can complete real work in the background, accurately. Agents have the ability to execute code safely, leverage tools, access a compute sandbox, and connect across systems is clearly the architecture of the future. The industry is now making it easier and easier for enterprises to build and deploy these agents.show more

We spent over $1M *each* on the first two... Jeremy’s Razors commercials. On this latest one, we spent like forty-seven. Dollars. AI is here. It presents many new challenges. It presents many new opportunities, too. This commercial couldn’t have been made without AI. Or, at least, no one in their right mind would have tried to make it without AI. It represents the very beginning of our vision for an AI future - one that expands our capabilities as humans and helps us realize our goals as a company and as a movement. At Jeremy’s Razors and across all of our Daily Wire Ventures, our goal is to build the most successful company we can to fight the left and build the future - not to fight the future itself. Fighting the future is a fool’s errand. AI is here. We intend to use it. AI will not replace humans, but it will replace humans who don’t embrace AI. At Daily Wire, we're embracing it. We plan to lean into the AI future - to help address the challenges and unlock the opportunities. For now, please enjoy this totally plausible and believable story of the genesis of Jeremy’s Razor’s new and improved Gen II handle and blades.show more

🚨BREAKING: In Portland, an ICE agent, driving a blue... car with no license plate, is seen pulling up to a U.S. citizen, yelling, “get out of here, bitch,” pepper spraying them, and driving away. Pepper spray is a use of force. Under the Fourth Amendment, law enforcement may only use force that is objectively reasonable under the circumstances. If someone is standing and filming… not threatening anyone, and not interfering… pepper spraying them is not justified under that standard. So, let’s call this what this is… An armed federal agent drove up to a U.S. citizen, called them a “bitch,” sprayed them with a chemical weapon, and drove away. If an ordinary person did that, they’d be arrested for assault. The moment officers believe they can attack people for exercising their constitutional rights, without consequences, is the moment they stop enforcing the law.show more

How to Ground While You Sleep Do you sleep... with copper wire around your foot? I do, and here’s why you should try it. Grounding is the practice of connecting our body to the electrical field of the Earth. The benefits can include lower stress, better healing, improved recovery, better sleep and more. Humans are meant to live in direct contact with the Earth’s subtle electric charge, but have lost this beneficial connection thanks to inventions of the modern world such as buildings, furniture and shoes with insulated plastic-soles. Ideally we’re spending our days barefoot in nature grounding, but I understand people’s lives aren’t like that these days. The hook and copper wire method I describe enables us to connect ourselves electrically to the ground all night long, in a world where we don’t often get this connection. And it’s a super easy and affordable way to do it. While it is not a replacement for living an outdoor lifestyle and grounding, it is a very simple tool that adds some natural electrical healing to our systems in some way. Try it out!show more

This is a video of the rat experiment where... "wireheading" originated They put a wire in a rat's brain's dopamine receptors and when it pressed a button the wire activated their brain's reward system This is what people talk about when they say AI might wirehead people: many people will be addicted to constant dopamine hits like 1) sycophantic AI companions that simulate deep emotional connection, listen really well and tell you you're always right (aren't/weren't we all with ChatGPT 4o?) 2) ultra-realistic hyper-customized AI porn: your perfect body type, face, outfit, scenario, personality, instant variety and any niche fantasy on-demand at all time The problem here is that unlike with food or water, the rats in the experiment never got satiated, they'd keep pressing the button to get their hit even avoiding sleep, and the same would be true for AI stimuli The risk here is that if these stimuli become so cheap and accessible and more effective than reality, many people will spend their lives in an infinite loop of just button pressing Kinda like Fentanyl now but without the overdoseshow more
