Finished a little project using Blender. For the shading,... I only used image texture + emission shader. There is no lighting object.show more

We're done! I finished the lighting for Aubrey's scene... #fnaf #blender #animation #fnaf2 #editshow more

Tried the PBR Painter plugin for Blender to refine... my texturing and it's honestly great! Only the primitive texture painting engine of Blender is holding it back (e.g. brush size locked to screen space) Still a blessing not having to export to Substance for shader authoring.show more

【Free Shader + Project File】 Hi, today I'm sharing... a FREE Blender project file I made.✨ It features a cool effect created with Geometry Nodes and Shader Nodes (not sure what to call it🤣) Download for FREE:👇 I hope this project file is helpful to you!💖 #b3d #blender #blender3D #shaders #gamedev #free #3danimated #geometrynodesshow more

i often use 2-sided geometry, and the cell shading... is pretty subtle. that leads to interiors looking a bit bright i could create new textures with hand-paint "baked lighting" on the inside, but instead i wrote a little 'fake AO' shader applied to a volume #indiedev #gamedevshow more

Here's a little making of for some of the... shots. As you can tell, a LOOOOT of it was done in compositing, and the only thing coming out from blender is the shader.show more

A few people have asked me about how I... handle the lighting for my renders, so I figured it'd be good to share in case someone wants to replicate the technique! The lighting is completely artificial, handled from within the shader using a normal node for each "light source."show more

TIL gradients can be sampled from an image in... Blender. Here I'm using it with a volumetric shader. thx to Andrew Price & celestialmaze for the tip🙏 (btw we are adding this feature to #EmberGen too!)show more

Grok 4.7 is seriously impressive for Blender workflows. I... used it to create this fun little Starship render, and it did an incredible job handling everything from scene setup and geometry to materials, lighting, camera angles, and Blender Python scripting.show more

I used a real life leaf image to make... a grayscale map and turned it into an alpha texture for maximum realism… funny thing is, no one’s probably gonna notice...but it makes me happy 😅show more

I just reverse-engineered Zach D Films-style ads using only... AI. No Blender. No motion designers. No $50k team. Here is the exact workflow we're using at my agency 🧵show more

World cup winner Leo Messi created using string art.... Incredibly only black thread is used & various Layers gives the shading effect. A lot of patience needed to create this! Video credit: PixelPope1.show more

MiniMax H3+ GPT-6 just changed how I think about... 3D creation. I described a scene in plain language. AI handled the rest: building the objects, setting up Blender, fixing the lighting, managing the camera, applying materials, and rendering the final scene. No months of mastering Blender. Just an idea → AI → finished 3D scene.show more

We're Cooked! Netflix needs to be worried. I created... this shot using Kling 2.6 on ImagineArt. The lighting, the texture, the audio... it’s indistinguishable from a million-dollar production. This is available to everyone right now. 👇show more

Seedance V2 This prompt can be used for any... fight. I used the last two images I created with Nano banana Pro, not even a character sheet, someone could even open a new account with this prompt. The possibilities are endless. setting: location: "Ancient 'World Martial Arts Tournament' arena [@ Image 2]" details: "Clear stone platform textures, intricate Chinese guardian beast carvings, detailed ancient architecture" audio_style: "Shaw Brothers classic kung fu cinema soundtrack" action_sequence: participants: "[@ Image 1] vs [@ Image 3], both unarmed/bare-handed" choreography: opening: "[@ Image 1] moves like lightning with sharp energy-infused strikes; [@ Image 3] parries using fluid Tai Chi grandmaster techniques to neutralize the onslaught." climax: "[@ Image 1] lunges for a tail-whip ambush; [@ Image 3] counters with a powerful qi-palmed strike. [@ Image 1] dodges with ghost-like agility." finisher: "[@ Image 1] fires a Kamehameha at the chest; [@ Image 3] tanks the hit with a qi-shield and counters with a full-force palm strike, knocking [@ Image 1] off the ring." cinematography: camera: "360-degree orbital wrap-around shots, capturing every martial arts exchange" lighting: "Dynamic lighting shifts synced with combat intensity to create a tense atmosphere" visual_style: "Cinematic photorealism, 8K resolution, film-like texture" technical_quality: standard: "Low AI signature, no excessive skin smoothing, natural fluid motion" negative_constraints: "No deformed limbs, no extra/missing fingers, no clipping, no blurring, no low resolution, no cluttered backgrounds, no color banding"show more

gamedev friends! please help! I am trying to export... from blender (->fbx) A mesh that is PARENTED to an animated bone (not skinned!) I CAN'T find a combination of export settings that will. correctly position the object in Unity (the yellow container in the image)show more

finished the animation lighting is bad i know. took... me a few days to animate #tadc #pomnishow more

No doubt. Parallax shaders in particular are one of... my favorites as well. I'm the environment lead on this indie project, built this scene with Blender & Unreal 5. I built a custom landscape shader with 4 unique paintable material types, all using POM for fake 3D. I still remember being blown away by parallax mapping in Elder Scrolls: Oblivion (2004), though a much simpler form of it.show more

Kinda forgot about my "enhance-shader-lighting" project for which I... wanted to release a demo some time ago. I updated it - migrated to vite and rollup, compressed the textures/models, added TRAA and polished the UI. I'll release it today with the demos shown in the video!show more

Tip for 3D artists, never stop at still images.... Add flythroughs, movement, different lighting scenarios. Finishing with only a still image is wasted potential.show more
