I've been pondering something... My end goal with my... city simulator is to publish it on Steam. I was planning on using Three.js for prototyping and then porting this over to Unity to take advantage of ECS/Burst. But then I realized I could probably port all of the simulation code from TypeScript to Rust if I wanted to make it ultra-fast. And then I can continue to use Three.js for the renderer and then embed it into an Electron app. Is that a dumb idea? What pitfalls are there with this approach? Curious what people's experience publishing games using Electron has been.show more

You’ve probably seen some of the games I’ve been... building with AI. I can't code. But with AI's help, I've built 15+ game prototypes in the past 6 months. That process has been eye-opening. It made me realize how fast game creation is evolving and how much easier it’s becoming to turn ideas into playable worlds. So I started Vibeforge, a Patreon where I share everything I’ve learned about using AI to make games: - Step-by-step vibe-coding guides (like this top-down auto-shooter) - Behind-the-scenes devlogs as I experiment with new prototypes - Game boilerplates you can modify for your own projects I’m joined by Aldric Chang, founder of the game studio behind 13Z: The Zodiac Trials ➡️ Wishlist on Steam!, Hellsweeper VR, Sairento VR and Gordian Quest. While I focus on AI-driven experimentation, Aldric will be sharing real-world lessons from traditional game development: design, production, and marketing, bridging both worlds. Whether you’re building your first prototype or dreaming up your next indie project, we welcome you to join us: See you on the inside.show more

A girl makes $11,000 a month from AI videos... people call slop Her entire comeback to the hater is one screen recording. She screenshots someone else's viral kids video, drops it into ChatGPT and asks for the same thing. One line: prompt for a video like this. Seconds later ChatGPT hands back a full prompt. She pastes it into an AI video tool and out pops a glossy little strawberry princess with a crown, ready to upload. No camera. No editing. The whole thing happens on her phone by the pool. People call it slop while these channels quietly pull millions of views. Huge views turn into real income. Kids watch the same clip on loop for hours, so the numbers climb completely on their own. Save this before the haters realize slop prints more than their salary.show more

Shared by Rohan Juneja Happened to me in the... Dwarka Expressway tunnel could’ve easily turned into a fatal crash. I was in the fast lane when an Ertiga from the opposite side suddenly took a U-turn at an emergency gap where it’s clearly not allowed. He didn’t slow down, didn’t check traffic, just kept moving while turning and almost rammed into me. This kind of reckless behavior is dangerous enough, but the lack of proper barricading makes it worse. Strict action is needed. Sharing this so people stay alert this tunnel is a daily route for many. #driveresponsiblyshow more

Time under tension does not build muscle. You can... move as slowly as you like. Control every millimetre. Turn a six-rep set into a 60-second ceremony. The muscle does not respond to the clock. It responds to mechanical tension applied close to failure by a load that is actually threatening it. No proximity to failure: no stimulus, regardless of how slowly you moved. And if you do push close to failure with a slow concentric, you have spent the whole set recruiting slow-twitch fibres, the ones built for endurance, while the fast-twitch fibres, the ones with genuine hypertrophic potential, wait at the side with nothing to do. They want heavy weight moved with maximum intent. They want the bar to slow because it is beating you, not because you chose to lose to it. Slow eccentrics compound this by generating damage without a proportional growth signal, because the muscle is at its strongest during the eccentric and nowhere near its limit. Feel free to move slowly. The fast-twitch fibres will remain exactly where they are.show more

✨ I can now generate 3d assets for my... drone sim at directly from Cursor (sponsor of #vibejam) I need buildings that you'd see in a war torn city, like warehouses in ruins, broken down abandoned houses, bombed out bridges etc. Nano Banana Pro or 2 can generate them really well and then you can put them in an image-to-3d model and you get a GLB or FBX That one you can then import into your Three.js game, the models might be big though, in my case like 16MB, so I ask it to compress it and make it more low poly so it loads fast ThreeJS then loads the individual GLBs on page load and puts them in my drone sim somewhere randomly, I think I should remove some of the grass and match the sandy color of the ruins though to make it fit in moreshow more

🌍 As some of you might know, last year... we started building an app that required a 3D Map, and we were taken aback by the lack of good SDKs. They’re all clunky, slow, and unstable.🤔 Today, we're thrilled to introduce Cartes - a fast, easy-to-use, and visually appealing 3D Map SDK for Unity. This tool is built to empower your creativity in developing delightful apps and games for the Real World Metaverse. 📱🤳 ⚡️ With blazing-fast performance, our SDK offers a seamless integration for your (modern) Unity projects. We provide default navigation features, intuitive gestures, and clustering capabilities that we meticulously refined over hundreds of hours and proof-tested in guerilla tests. 🏞️ We wanted to build a genuinely 3D map, with 3D terrain, monuments and decorations, able to transition smoothly from a global view down to the human eye level. 🔍 #Unity #AR #Maps #LBEshow more

SOMEONE VIBE CODED A MOBILE APP WHERE ZOMBIES CHASE... YOU IN REAL LIFE it uses your actual gps position, so the only way to survive is to physically run > you get a 60 second head start, then the horde spawns on your neighborhood map > tap the red skulls to shoot them, but you only start with 3 bullets > go to ammo crates on your running path to reload, hourglasses to slow them down > your charge meter fills as you run, and you can spend it to shove the whole horde back when you're cornered the ai fitness app people keep trying to build is this. make the workout a game people would play anyway the strategy for b2c apps is to literally gamify everything insane how he built this in a weekend with claude codeshow more

This driver is trying to ma a left turn... and the car on the opposite side stops and makes a path for them to turn. As the car starts to turn, an electric bike in the bike lane comes speeding down and well, as you can see, smashes into the car and flips over the front. Luckily he gets up and is walking. He could have been seriously injured. To me, this is quite literally why they say you’re not supposed to just stop in the middle of a street to let someone turn. Some are saying it’s the red car’s fault for stopping and letting the driver turn. Others are saying in their state, an electric bike is like a motorcycle and has to obey the traffic laws. Who is at fault? Do you think the electric bike should have been in the bike lane traveling that fast? The red car for letting the car turn left when it can’t see, or is it the drivers responsibility to make sure all is clear before proceeding?show more

I just vibe-coded a Shopify Reviews Scraper that swipes... all your competitors' customer reviews instantly. 🤯 Paste any competitor's product URL → pull every review in under 30 seconds → export to CSV. Built 100% in Codex. Perfect for brands and agencies who want to mine competitor voice-of-customer data at scale and turn it into winning ad creative. Here's how it works: → Drop a Shopify product URL into the tool → Set your review limit (50, 100, 500+) → Hit scrape — it launches a browser, finds the review widget, pulls every review → Export clean rows: rating, body, author, date → Feed the CSV to Claude and ask "what do customers love and hate about this product" → Turn the output into ad angles, hooks, and headlines No more paying $99/mo for clunky review scraping SaaS that locks you behind credits. What you get: - Any Shopify store's reviews in 30 seconds - Clean structured data (rating, body, author, date) - CSV or JSON export — drops straight into Sheets or an LLM - Unlimited scrapes, no per-review fees - A voice-of-customer firehose you can turn into ad creative on demand This is essentially a competitor review intelligence engine in a box. I'm giving away the full GitHub repo so you can clone it and run it yourself for free. Want the repo? > Like this post > Comment "SCRAPE" And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)show more

AN 18-YEAR-OLD WITH $30 IN AI TOOLS CAN NOW... TURN YOUTUBE SLOP INTO A $17K/MONTH MACHINE The video says the quiet part out loud. Kid flexing next to two expensive cars with the caption: POV you are 18 and make AI slop on YT. It looks like a meme. It is also the business model. The article breaks down why. You do not need a face, studio, editor, camera or original genius. You need a high-RPM niche, Claude for scripts, ElevenLabs for voice, CapCut for assembly, and enough discipline to ship 3-4 videos a week. Finance at 500K views/month can pull around $10K from AdSense. Entertainment at the same traffic might do $3K - $4K Same attention, different payout. That is what people miss about “AI slop.” The content can be mediocre and the economics can still be excellent if the niche pays, the cadence holds, and affiliate or sponsor money sits on top. The kid in the video is not flexing because the content is beautiful. He is flexing because YouTube does not pay for taste. It pays for watch time in expensive categories, and AI made the factory cheap enough for teenagers to run.show more

Most AI in consumer apps is a call to... someone else’s cloud. Meanwhile the very capable computer already in your hand sits idle. So we gave it a job! To-dos rarely start inside a to-do app. They start as a thought you say out loud, a note in your notebook, or something scribbled on a whiteboard. Introducing 2 on-device AI features: 🎙️1. Yap with Uncle Rudy Yap isn’t just voice input. Behind it is a product-specific SLM we trained, specifically trained for one job: understanding task operations - add, update, delete, and reschedule. Yap → Tell Rudy what to do → Rudy turns it into the right task operation. 📸2. Snap with Uncle Rudy The same idea applies to the things that never made it into an app. Snap uses Apple’s new Foundation Vision Model to understand a handwritten note, whiteboard, or notebook page and turn it into structured tasks - entirely on-device. Talk to Rudy. Point at a page. Meet your to-dos where they actually begin. Uncle Rudy - One of our first experiments in personal on-device AI. TestFlight Dropping Tomorrow!show more
