it's a big day for vortex generators. vortex generator... generators, in particular Sam Altman do you remember talking about fire tornadoes? similar. i should show you and olly some relevant things on that at lightcell energy 🔆 we 3d printed these ceramic compound nozzles to be a steady rotation where the air and fuel are injected and merge smoothly, like a combined swirl nozzle and laminar flow element. it works weirdly well and makes a steady flow, and, channels and accelerates exhaust along the axis. it is very familiar to OpenAI's flow field, and i'm curious how similar!! and if such a flow field might be forced, and thus, exploited, in some actually physical invention. it doesn't seem like this basic idea of pulling the flow up the center, to do axial strengthing. and spiral nozzles, requires the continuum hypothesis to do vorticity amplification / concentration like this. so it should work in a device. similar high velocity axial vorticity amplification. in addition to high speed rotation stabilizing a density gradient like a flame column, it stablizes kinetically, in free air, and can be used for gas separation, particle extraction and energy pumping, like in a vortex tube (Ranque Hilsch vortex tubes at high and low temp ) and otherwise. not sure these are just my first thoughts seeing the paper your employee and my friend Abe Fetterman suggested double ended, which is the next thing we gotta try!show more

Raw thrust, pure legacy. The General Electric J79 is... a military turbojet built for speed, power, and high-altitude performance. Air is compressed, mixed with fuel, and ignited to produce high-energy exhaust gases that drive the turbine and exit at extreme velocity, generating thrust. With an afterburner system, additional fuel is injected into the exhaust stream, delivering a massive boost in thrust when needed. Designed to power legendary aircraft like the Lockheed F-104 Starfighter, it became known for its high thrust-to-weight ratio and distinctive performance in supersonic flight. Its robust design and ability to operate under extreme conditions made it a cornerstone of early jet combat technology. Built for speed. Proven in the skies.show more

People say running is bad and that it makes... you look old and wastes away your muscle People are dumb That only happens if you run for to long at to high of a heart rate If you run at 130-140 beats per minute with a smile on your face it’s actually some of the best therapy there is If you are running and you can’t smile and it looks like you are in agony and can’t hold a pleasant conversation you are doing it wrong and that’s what will cause you to look old and frail This is called “the sweet spot” folks and it can be used for way more than just runningshow more

You Can Heal Yourself With Nature Movement - By... moving our body we give strength to our muscles, promote blood flow and lymphatic flow enhancing the delivery of nutrients and the removal of waste products. We also create a piezoelectric effect that energises the system. Breathing - The delivery of air into the body through intentional conscious breathing is one of the most powerful modalities for nervous system renewal, mental peace and the delivery of oxygen to the body and the removal of carbonic acid buildup from the system Sunshine - It’s my belief that the more sunlight we absorb without sunscreen, the healthier we will become. A tan looks good because it is healthy and every part of your body thrives when sunlight touches it delivering blood flow as well as a high frequency and energy Grounding - Existing in connection with the earth’s electrical fields resets everything about our energy, reduces inflammation and promotes the movement of proper channels such as detox - it’s a fantastic practice to be connected to nature. Green light - When sunlight moves through trees and leaves we receive Green light by which is very healing and high in near infrared light, in fact it is one of the most healing modalities to absorb in your skin particularly if you have any abrasions or wounds - even more powerful than red light . Fresh air - The first nutrient, having fresh air that is rich in oxygen is absolutely imperative to health and you should always have all of your windows open in the house if possible when not outside. Positive thinking - Whatever you think, shall become and having and cultivating a positive mindset that intentionally brings you positive energy is one of the cornerstones to great health. You can think yourself into sickness and you can think yourself into health so choose to view the world in a positive light and so it’ll be for you.show more

Here is a drill to help you learn what... it feels like to use the ground and start to sequence effectively. Notice how the club is setup in the video between my feet. Get to your back swing and jump favoring your lead foot left and laterally like I am. With that feeling step in and hit one. Not where you are pushing off from when you swing and try and get that into a feeling that makes sense to you. This is how power is created in the golf swing. This is also where physical limitations can show up.show more

Americans are starting to see a huge difference at... the pump! For the first time in a long time, it doesn’t feel so bad getting out of your car and filling up your gas tank. We’ve got record oil flow, prices dropping, and energy moving at full speed. Trump said this is what would happen, and Americans are seeing the results! Trust Trump!show more

We used real animal voices in Flow. In most... cases this wasn't a problem, except for the capybara. Capybaras don't speak that much, so it had to be tickled to make it say something, but the voice was very high-pitched and didn’t fit our chill, hippy like character. We made a creative decision to offer the role to a baby camel instead.show more

Some kids came up to our door, lit a... firework, and ran. It could easily be mistaken for a gunshot because it was similar to an M80 and loud. If I was home at the time it went off, I would have gone in defense mode for my family. This is the last thing you want to do in Texas. I'm all for kids being kids but this is too far for a prank.show more

So, you wanna be a big shot, huh? Well,... let me tell you a secret: the key to success is being consistent, even when it's super boring and the results take forever to show up. It's like waiting for paint to dry, but instead of paint, it's your dreams. And, spoiler alert, it's not all sunshine and rainbows - there's gonna be some serious discomfort involved. But, hey, that's where the magic happens, right? The thing is, most people give up because they're not seeing immediate results. They're like, "I did the thing, where's my prize?" Well, let me break it to you: the prize is in the process. Every small step you take, every tiny effort you put in, it all adds up. It's like putting pennies in a piggy bank - it doesn't seem like much at first, but before you know it, you've got a whole lot of pennies. So, here's the deal. If you want to be a great man (or woman, or whatever), you gotta be willing to put in the work. And I don't mean just going through the motions, I mean really putting in the effort. Because, let's be real, the only way to get better is to face the discomfort head-on and keep moving forward. And, hey, don't forget to enjoy the ride. It's okay to take a step back, look at how far you've come, and be like, "Whoa, I'm crushing it!" But don't get too comfortable - there's still a lot of work to be done. Anyway, that's my two cents. Have a great week, I guess. #Web3 #DeFi #Ethereum #StarkNet #Crypto #ETH #Bitcoin #BTC #zycotshow more

What’s driving the upcoming record breaking cold snap?? It’s... widespread warmth (up-to 30F above normal) and intense blocking in the Arctic/ Greenland/N Canada. That is squeezing out the (tropospheric) Cold Polar Vortex and forcing it south deep into the US. While it may be tempting to blame Global warming-low Arctic sea ice-& Arctic amplification for this, the climate change component is likely enhancing, but is not the primary driver. Teleconnections to various natural oscillations (and the stratosphere) working in tandem are often the culprit in these high latitude blocks. Climate change simply piggy backs and makes the blocking - and amp’d pattern - more extreme. (But it does NOT make the cold air, colder which is a common misconception)show more

Imagine pulling up to the dog park and realizing... one of the “dogs” playing out there is actually a coyote. That’s the situation here, and it’s a coin flip on how it goes: do you wait and see if it stays friendly, or step in and scare it off before things turn? These happened to be big dogs, so the coyote had zero interest in escalating anything. Swap that for a small or miniature dog and this story reads completely differently, possibly with a tragic ending instead of a funny clip. Wild animals blending into a dog park like this should be treated as a real risk, not a photo op. Would you have waited it out, or scared it off the second you realized?show more

🚨UNIPHICS NEWS🚨: Light doesn’t slow down in glass —... time does. And that explains every rainbow you’ve ever seen 🧨 For centuries, we’ve been taught that light slows down when it enters glass, water, or any transparent material, and that this slowing causes refraction and the splitting of colors in rainbows and prisms. The refractive index is treated as a material property, and photons are pictured as particles mysteriously changing speed inside matter. Uniphics offers a much cleaner and more fundamental picture. Light is a propagating spin-wave mode in the ξM-field. When this wave enters a material like glass, the material increases the local energy density. Because time flow is directly tied to energy density (t_flow = k / E_d), time flows more slowly inside the glass than in air. The spin-wave pattern of light therefore takes longer to advance through the region of slower time flow. This change in the rate of time progression across the boundary causes the wave to bend — exactly what we observe as refraction. Different wavelengths (colors) interact slightly differently with the energy-density environment, so they bend by different amounts, creating rainbows. Nothing actually slows down in the classical sense. The wave simply experiences a different rate of time flow inside the material. The same principle that explains gravitational lensing also explains ordinary lenses and rainbows. This turns one of the most familiar phenomena in optics into a direct consequence of variable time flow caused by energy density gradients. How might realizing that refraction and rainbows are caused by local changes in time flow rather than photons slowing down change the way we think about light, materials, or the design of new optical technologies? A Theory of Everything should be able to answer everything. Uniphics Explained Simply PDF: Chapters 1–10 free: Grokipedia #Uniphics #Refraction #Rainbows #TimeFlow #Light Grok xAIshow more

The importance of pointing the AirFanta Wear personal air... purifier accurately. You need to point the center of the Wear's airflow at your breathing zone. Otherwise you won't get any benefit from the device. This is just a visualization using the mist from an ultrasonic nebulizer to stand in for unfiltered ambient air. In the demonstration the air is not completely still due to the output of the nebulizer. But the air flow may be similar to cross currents that might be found in indoor settings. AirFanta has shown a number of different ways to position the Wear, but hasn't given exact numbers for distance as far as I know. I'm using a distance of 2 inches or less as a rule of thumb, with the center of the device pointed at my breathing zone. The 3/4 position feels like it's one that people may be the most interested in because it can let you eat while at the same time maintaining a close proximity to the output. The Wear is not meant as a one-to-one replacement for a respirator grade mask. It's best for situations where you were not going to be wearing a mask at all, but would still like to breathe cleaner air. Avoid risk compensation, which is where you take on more risk because you think you are more protected than you actually are. For instance, visiting a nephew sick with measles without an N95 mask because you think the Wear will give you equal protection. Maintaining the correct distance and orientation between the Wear and your breathing zone requires conscious effort. The Wear can reduce your overall exposure to airborne contaminants, but it needs to be used very close to breathing zone and needs to be very accurately centered.show more

d’Alembert’s Paradox: The 1752 Paradox That Stood in the... Way of Real Aerodynamics In 1752, d’Alembert found a result that still feels wrong at first sight: An ideal fluid can flow around a body and produce no drag at all. In the first animation, viscosity is set to zero. The fluid bends around the object, accelerates, slows down, and stitches itself back together downstream. You get no wake, no loss and no scar in the flow. The equations have removed the very thing that would let the body leave a trace. That is Euler flow: ρ(∂u/∂t + (u · ∇)u) = −∇p ∇ · u = 0 For steady irrotational flow, u = ∇φ and ∇²φ = 0. The pressure field stays perfectly symmetric front to back, so when you integrate pressure over the body, the drag cancels: D = 0 The second animation changes one thing: viscosity is allowed back in. ρ(∂u/∂t + (u · ∇)u) = −∇p + μ∇²u ∇ · u = 0 Now, the surface can grip the fluid. A boundary layer forms. It can separate, vorticity rolls off the body and wake appears. Drag is now built by the flow. Therefore, making viscosity tiny is not the same as deleting it. ν → 0 still has a boundary layer. ν = 0 has no memory.show more

I am completely saddened to see what has happened... to Grok Imagine with it's latest update. It's a massive downgrade in motion and it prioritizes slow motion and random zooming in that is not even prompted. Prompt adherence seems to be suffering. If you can't see the night and day difference here, I don't know what else to say. Instead of just talking, look at my comparisons. I am very vocal and honest on here, this update is bad and it needs to be fixed. Grok Imagine used to showcase some of the most realistic and fluid motion, making it outperform a lot of other AI Video generators. To see it get butchered like this is extremely disappointing. Please fix this or roll back the changes. I am not the only one complaining here, just search for "grok imagine update" and read the replies for yourself. The community is not happy. This is not the direction it should be heading in. People in the community need to learn to also be honest and speak up, step outside of your bubble for once. I trust the devs see our complaints and make changes to what was once an incredibly powerful AI video generator.show more

Eyewitness states: Can someone please tell me what it... was I saw out in my field last night? I live in Roseville, CA and there are numerous weird things I see. Orbs that move in a fluid like way in the sky. This entity that was hovering in the sky and then flew at lightning speed and disappeared into the ground? I thought it was an owl at first but it looked too big to be an owl and nothing came back up from the ground. I watched for a good 5 minutes after this video. I thought it could have been a spider on the bridge I was standing on but I searched all over with my flash and there was not a single spider or bug it could have been on the bridge or the ground. My area is close to numerous power plants and this seems to be a hot spot for activity. I am also a witch so I believe I am perceived to be an open channel to these things and they reveal themselves to me. I would love your thoughts. Thank youshow more
