How wonderful it is to have people around who... care, help, and willingly reward us! God allows marvelous things! This new arcade artwork is the result of 3 things: 1 - All the fans who created artwork with so much love and passion and willingly gave it to me to use as art in the arcade. 2 - Lucas ( who dedicated his time to designing the artwork. 3 - Compasso (Compasso Outdoor ) who did the printing with great professionalism, quality, and friendship. Punch held on to the little toy that once... comforted him… and this time, no one pushed him away. 🥺🐒🧡 The small light-brown monkey reached out curiously, gently touching the plush in Punch’s hands. And instead of fear… there was calm. Beside them, the larger macaque stayed close too — keeping both little ones near, like this quiet moment was being protected. Small movements. Soft curiosity. No rejection. Just Punch, his comfort toy, and the kind of closeness that once felt impossible. Sometimes healing looks like this… not loud, not dramatic — just a small heart finally learning it doesn’t have to hold everything alone.show more

When I tell you that outgoing President William Ruto... is a hopeless son of a bitch, this is what I mean. See his car literally evading a pothole. During the Moi-era before any presidential visit, we knew he was really coming because they’d seal potholes prior to his arrival. This piece of shit is stealing so much that he doesn’t care. Infact he encourages theft of project funds for as long as he gets a cut. That’s why we have to get rid of this genocidal baboon quick and fast. Haraka upesi.show more

Thoughts from Pebble: -18th hole is the hardest hole... in golf 😬🤦🏻♂️ -Really up and down week… Swing felt really good at times and really bad at times. I don’t feel like I’m too far off but not sharp either. Will work on my swing with Sean and try and get it going this week. -My short game was consistently bad though haha 😅. Couldn’t figure out the bunkers very well, and chipping was off. Not technique wise, just off with my touch. -Speaking of which, a tip for all you amateurs. You have to open the face when hitting bunker shots. The leading edge just digs way too much when you keep that face square. When you open the face, it doesn’t dig as much and you can release it more which is a better motion overall. -My amateur partners were great to play with. Thomas and Michael were both really nice guys and I hope they enjoyed their time. The weather the first two days were really great. Pebble in good weather is so so sick. -Good part is that my putting has definitely improved from last yr. I had a little trouble with greens being so slow this week but I’m finding my groove with my putting way more than last yr.show more

Your baby is born with more than 600 muscles.... As you might imagine, it takes a while to their master use. We call this process “motor development” and generally think of this growth as happening in two categories: Gross motor development involves the use of the large muscles in the torso, arms and legs. And fine motor development entails the use of the small muscles controlling the movements of the fingers, eyes, mouth, etc. Each type progresses toward more and more refined and deliberate movements, passing through a large number of developmental milestones - which brings us to this sweet little one shared to IG by cramberry36. I love mom’s song here, which offers a number of gross motor challenges… two of which our hero has mastered (walking and stopping) and two (hopping and running) still under development. If you watch carefully you’ll notice that he has a clear sense of what it would be like to both run and hop… imitating both to the best of his current ability… but can’t quite achieve liftoff in either case. Running and jumping are fairly advanced skills that involve muscle and bone strength, motor planning, and balance - skills and attributes that most children aren’t yet ready to combine until 18-24 months. That doesn’t make his efforts any less delightful.show more

Taste is invisible until you try to write it... down. This is probably my biggest lesson with AI building as of late. At Sundial, I get to work with really friggin' amazing analysts who know the art, and I see how much of our collective time now is now spent turning that art into playbooks or skills for an LLM. Encoding things like: "How would a great analyst actually look at this metric move?" or "What is ACTUALLY the interesting signal in this story versus noise?" or "How can we know if a product change actually moved the needle?" It's really humbling work! You write an instruction set. The LLM misses. You add more context. It still misses. You add even more. Now it's confused. You strip it back. Now it's too vague. You try a different framing. Better, but inconsistent. Works on Monday, fails on Tuesday. You go again. I've come to realize the gap between 70% quality and 95% quality is not 3 or 4 big things. It's more like 100s of small things. Which is exactly why you can't write an article about it, or copy it, or shortcut it! This gap *is* taste, quantified. The accumulated weight of a thousand small judgments you don't notice you're making, until you sit down to externalize them and realize you can't. Being good at something is not the same as being able to articulate why you're good at it. I now see two bottlenecks to making something better than today's generic AI: 1. Can you *see* what better looks like in the first place? 2. Even if you can see, can you *articulate* what that is in a way that the LLM can understand and systemize? #2 is now a new craft, the art of distilling the art. The people who can do it well are the ones building standout products.show more

Doesn’t get much better than texts like this. From... the guys you know have been putting in the work. — Big time recruit. Middle of the order on a big time high school team. We spent the whole offseason shortening up his swing. More ready to swing, gap to gap. He also put real focus into skinny bat, 3 plate drill, and mixed pitches. The skill of HITTING, not just the swing. Both pieces matter. The swing (mechanical advantage) and the skill of hitting. Find what you need. The official SH2 novel explains James' thoughts when he... sees the noose. In SH2R it's obvious a lot is going on in his head, but the details are left out. In the novel he imagines his execution. Pyramid Head pulls the noose around his neck, then James realizes he's trying to hang himself and snaps out of his delusions. At that moment James is so mentally disturbed and desperate to escape his nightmare that he calls out to the Brookhaven director for help, believing he's his patient: “Help me...Somebody please...help me... If you’re really there, looking into the face of your deranged patient, and if I’m really there, too, then please help me. Use medication or whatever you want, I don’t care how rough it is. Just...please cure me of this insanity. I don’t want to see these things anymore. I want out of this nightmare!" #silenthill #silenthill2 #silenthill2remakeshow more

⚾️ Why shouldn’t we use feet to measure intensity?... Have you seen somebody throw 90 MPH from 90’? Have you seen somebody throw 65 MPH from 90’? Yes and Yes! Ok, Bad metric for our goals ⚾️ Why shouldn’t we use Perceived % intensity? We have all seen Little Johnny throw his 50% bullpen at 80 MPH. No, he does not Sit 160 MPH in games last we checked. Too subjective of a metric With all the technology and advancements in the game, there is no way we should be measuring build up throwing intensities with “Feet Thrown” or a “Subjective %” We need to be able to quantify the single most important component of a Rehab or Build Up throwing Progression: INTENSITY HERES WHY: ⚾️ For any throwing progression, the goal is to introduce a slightly higher stress to the arm, then let their body adapt to the new stress, making it their new baseline. Then, make another small increase in the stresses and repeating this process until they have returned to their normal Freqs, Intensities, and Volumes ⚾️ Too big of a Spike which could occur from both errors in being too aggressive or too conservative then having to ramp up to return to a game can be a cause a failed Return to Play Here’s a simple fix: Use A Radar Gun ✅ Instant Feedback for Athletes to stay in a Goal Velo Range ✅ Very digestible metric for Athletes to comprehend and understand ✅ Avoids the flaws at both ends of either overstressing or understressing the armshow more

movements like this can require so much muscle engagement... that flicking conventionally can cause too much shaking at the end to gauge your targets position. lifting the mouse after the flick creates both a clear image and a physical reset to give yourself time to locate your enemy and adjust as needed. it's not something i use often and i do think its better to master conventional flicks but lifting the mouse at the end of a flick does have its place, plus it looks really cool if you are able to pull it off!show more

Was This a Stonewall Penalty? Breaking Down Khusanov’s Challenge... on João Pedro The Positioning: Joao Pedro is in full control of the ball, driving into the Manchester City penalty box. Rather than trailing behind, Khusanov has actually recovered enough ground to get alongside and slightly ahead of Joao Pedro. Khusanov is cutting across Pedro's running path to get his body between the attacker and the ball. The Contact: In this exact moment, Khusanov is not pushing Joao Pedro in the back. Instead, Khusanov is leaning his body weight leftwards into Joao Pedro to shield the ball. It is actually Joao Pedro who has his left arm extended with his hand resting on Khusanov's back/shoulder area as they battle for position. In football, a defender is allowed to step across an attacker and use their body to shield the ball once they have established position, provided it is within playing distance of the ball. Since Khusanov is using his body to block the run and it's shoulder-to-shoulder (with Pedro's hand on him), this changes the dynamic completely from a "push." Looking at this specific angle, it looks much more like a standard physical battle where the defender successfully "boxes out" the attacker. Because Khusanov uses his body positioning legally to ease Pedro off the ball rather than illegally shoving him from behind, the referee’s decision not to award a penalty is the correct one.show more

How Should We Walk? Everyone knows how to walk... right? Wrong. Well, we knew (as a child) and then we forget it, due to the learned maladaptive movement patterns that we pick up from adolescence and adulthood. We don’t move as much, we sit a lot, we don’t squat properly, we don’t run, we do stiffening gym exercises; this all can lead to dysfunction. Here are some key tips to change the way you walk if you don’t do these already. Head Side to Side with each Step : create a “column” between you foot striking the ground, and your head. Spinal movement: move side to side like a snake does and you’ll feel the rotation bringing you forward. Barefoot Shoes: get your feet out of the foot prisons that are modern shoes, and use barefoot shoes if not barefoot. These are simple tips to get you moving closer to how we naturally and primally used to.show more

➡️It's a little embarrassing to share, but I feel... like it took me way to long to realize the better workflow with rigging. So here's a little #live2d tip for those beginner artists that clicked for me a while back! I used to rig all body, clothing, and accessories for one given area all at once, but I think it ended up being inconsistent to other parts of the model. My workflow was slower too. 😬 It's similar to the inconsistencies you'd get by not drawing the bone structures of your character drawing, and just trying to draw the clothes right away. Body parts can sometimes seem to not line up, especially as a newer artist. It's a small change, but rigging only the nude base in full and then slowly adding one clothing part at a time makes the entire rigging process easier.😄 I know it seems really obvious, but I actually didn't start doing this until early last year. Everything comes together much faster and much more consistently, so definitely give it a try! Hope you enjoy this #vtuber leg rigging ☺️show more

This man has scratches on his truck and people... ask him why he doesn’t buff them out. His response- “I could probably buff out the scratches on my truck, but I don't really want to. They're from Gunnar, from all the times he stuck his head out the window, ears back, face in the wind, happy just to be along for the ride. Back then, it was just part of life. Dog hair everywhere. Nose prints on the glass. Scratches on the door. Another drive with him riding shotgun like he owned the truck. Now those little marks feel different. They're not just scratches anymore. They're proof of a time when he was still here. A reminder of the ordinary moments I didn't know I'd miss this much.” Those aren’t scratches, those are memories. 💔 Do you have physical memories of your pet that you refuse to get rid of? Scratches? Wooyoung’s message to Hongjoong: 🐈⬛ The way you’re always... growing and becoming cooler and cooler - I feel so, so proud that you’re part of our team. You really make me think, “Ah, he is the biggest treasure of our team.” 🐿️ I’m confused now~ 🐈⬛ We’ve been preparing a lot together for this concert, and first of all, I just want to say you worked really hard. And in “Wake Up” (최면), if you look at your rap… 🐿️ Ah~ I think I know who this is… I can totally tell. 🐈⬛ There’s this killer rap part in there, and I think ATINY are really going to love it. 🐿️ The way he’s talking… feels kinda familiar! 🐈⬛ I think this concert will really show off your dancing too, so please prepare well and don’t get hurt. 🐿️ Huh..? What’s going on… 🐈⬛ I hope you can show ATINY a great side of you. 🐿️ Ah, this is confusing. 🐈⬛ Ah… 🐿️ Ah? 🐈⬛ I’m sure it’s mentally draining with so much to learn, but take care of your mental state, okay? 🐿️ That’s definitely it - especially that last part. Even with the voice disguised, I can hear it. Ah, Jung Wooyoung, this is definitely… 🐈⬛ Don’t get sick! Don’t go around all day holding your stomach going “Arghhh”- do well, okay? ♡ 🐿️ Now I get why he kept going “Arghhh.” Yeah, this is totally Jung Wooyoung. Q: At which point did you realize who it was? 🐿️ It was when “Wake Up” got mentioned- because Wooyoung had said he wanted to hear a fast rap, and that’s why I wrote that rap for “Wake Up”. Also, there was this one day I was really sick while we were preparing for the concert, and Wooyoung stayed by my side and really looked after me. Hongjoong’s message to Wooyoung: 🐿️ Wooyoung-ah, even though you don’t show it, you always take care of me in your own way. And when I get all stiff or too serious, you joke around with me and loosen me up - thank you for that. Please keep looking after me in the future too. Fighting~! video cr. cozy_azshow more

This deserves a thumbs up! 👍 But give me... a moment, my fine motor skills are still developing. As your little one grows, their physical (or “motor”) development happens on two interrelated planes: “Gross motor” development relates to the use of large muscle groups in the arms, legs and core used to balance, crawl, walk and jump (to name a few). And “fine motor” development describes the development of the small and precise muscle movements needed to manipulate your hands, wrists, fingers, feet, and toes. Both categories take time and practice to develop, with fine motor skills tending to trail gross motor skills in their refinement. Which makes sense. Fine motor skills are all about precision. Which leads us to this sweet little guy, who wants to celebrate by flashing a thumbs up to his mom and dad… but requires a little extra time and effort to get his thumbs to cooperate. Fine motor skills are critical to writing/drawing, the use of scissors, and the manipulation of things like buttons and zippers, just to name a few. You can help aid this development by providing lots of safe opportunities for your little one to practice strengthening the muscles of the hands and wrists, for example. Finger paint, crayons, play-doh, and eating utensils are all great options. Anything that will engage these small muscle groups. But even then, know that fine motor development takes a combination of practice and time. This happy little guy was shared to TT by chenko(dot)tattoo.
