Most traders think psychology is just “control your emotions.”... It’s deeper than that. Trading psychology is the quality of decisions you make under uncertainty. Can you stay patient when nothing is clear? Can you execute when your setup appears without fear? Can you take a loss without revenge trading? Can you follow your plan when greed tells you to overstay? That is psychology. A bad mindset doesn’t only show in emotions. It shows in: • Overtrading • Moving stop loss • Entering early • Ignoring confirmations • Risking too much • Chasing after losses • Closing winners too soon How to improve your psychology: ▫️Manage your risk When the money at stake is too high for your mind, emotions take over. Risk appropriately and think clearer. ▫️Trade only clear setups Random entries create stress. Clean setups build confidence. ▫️Accept losses before entering Every trade can lose. Once you accept that, losses hurt less and decisions improve. Journal your behavior ▫️Don’t only record profits. Record mistakes, emotions, impatience, greed, fear. Patterns will expose themselves. Detach from daily results ▫️One day means nothing. Consistency is built over many trades, not one session. Build discipline off the chart If you can’t control small habits in life, it becomes harder to control yourself in the market. The market is not only testing your strategy. It is testing your character every single day. GM💜show more

When markets crash, the hard part usually isn’t the... chart work. It’s keeping your emotions under control. Most traders have a system, a plan, clear rules. But when your P&L swings tens of thousands in a day, all of that gets stress‑tested. Fear, anxiety, regret, anger – these emotions can destroy more than the sell‑off itself. Over the past decade, I’ve traded through multiple crashes, panics, collapses and violent corrections. What I’ve learned is this: Your long‑term results are not decided by how well you predict the market, but by whether you can stay rational when the market is at its messiest. In this post I’m sharing four mindset and strategy shifts I consider most critical. I hope they help you make better decisions the next time the market tanks. 📎What’s the mistake you’re most likely to make in a big sell‑off? 💬Tell me in the comments 🆕 Champion’s trading method — now on IG too. 👉 Follow us: IG@jlawstock2show more

GM You know what is the saddest part of... being a trader Missing your own life Your friends call You say you have to monitor your trades Your family plans something You say the market is open A night out turns into you staring at five monitors saying come on come on And the worst part You are not even guaranteed to win You are just guaranteed to miss everything else That is the trap most traders are stuck in And Quant AI just made the whole thing pointless One line changed everything Quant copy his trades That is it While the trader is glued to his screen His friend copied every single one of his moves in seconds Without charts Without stress Without missing a single moment of life Copy trading on Quant means you find someone who already knows what they are doing and let them do it for you You do not need to understand every candle You do not need to watch every movement You do not need to sacrifice your life for the market Let Quant handle the market You handle your life #QuantAIPioneers NFA DYOR Not financial adviceshow more

“Everyone wants to win — until they realize how... many losses it takes.” October has been one of the toughest months for me (and likely for some of you), especially when comparing LoD stops based sizing swing traders vs. % stops based sizing position traders. I’ve had 16 straight losses — but each one was small, contained, and the streak was fully within the expected variance range of a 30% win rate. While it can be challenging for some of us, the key to navigating this, both mentally and emotionally, lies in accepting uncertainty through predefined risk management, where every trade has a clearly defined pain threshold. Your dollar-value tolerance should never trigger emotional reactions or push you off your intended plan. By acknowledging that losses are part of the process, we enter each trade with humility — assuming we may be wrong until proven right. The market must prove and continue to prove the validity of our thesis. Start small, and let your risk grow only as your consistency and performance justify it. I always advocate using a fixed % risk relative to your latest net realized equity. Don’t increase risk just because you’ve had a few good trades — risk should only expand when it’s truly earned from realized profitable performance. Avoid the illusion that everyone wins in trading. The real objective is not just to make gains, but to preserve them. True risk management goes far beyond setting stop losses — it means being proactive enough to cut size when the market proves you wrong. In the end, the trader who manages losses best will always outlast the rest. “The best loser is the long-term winner.” - Phantom of the Pitshow more

⚡️Truth is the moment consciousness refuses to be captured... by comfort. That is why it matters. Anyone can “tell the truth” when it costs nothing. That is just description. The real test comes when lying would protect your image, preserve your status, avoid conflict, keep money flowing, satisfy the audience, defend the tribe, protect the ego, or maintain the illusion that your old map still works. That is where truth becomes moral force. A lie is not just a false statement. A lie is reality being bent to serve fear. It lets the person avoid contact with what is real. It keeps the dead pattern alive. It says: the truth is too dangerous, so the self will substitute a more convenient world. Do that enough times and the soul becomes unreal. Not in a mystical decorative sense. In a structural sense. The person loses contact with reality. Their words stop pointing outward. Their identity becomes a defense system. Their relationships become performances. Their work becomes propaganda. Their mind becomes a lawyer for its own comfort. Truth matters because it keeps consciousness aligned with reality. And reality is the only place creation can actually happen. You cannot build a real life on falsehood. You can build status. You can build money. You can build an image. You can build an audience. You can build a career. But the structure will rot because it is no longer in contact with the thing it claims to represent. That is why “telling the truth when lying would be easier” is sacred. It proves that something in you serves reality more than self-preservation. That is the beginning of freedom. Because the person who cannot tell the truth when it costs something is owned by whatever the lie protects.show more

When your pain, fear or resentment is consuming you,... no one else can pull you out of the dark, because you ARE the dark. Your mindset. Your thoughts. YOU CONTROL where you work & live, who you live with, what you eat & drink, what time you sleep, how you think, how you feel, how you spend your energy & what you do with your spare time. YOU! These things may feel out of your control but they're not. They're all things we can change if we're unhappy but our MINDSET has us convinced we can't, by playing on our fears of the unknown & our own weaknesses. 'What if I can't find other work?' 'What if I don't find anyone else?' 'I don't have time to cook!' 'I don't have time to workout!' 'I have nothing to feel happy about' 'I can't sleep!' Your life will not change, unless YOU do! You need to change your mindset! No one can do it for you. You can CHOOSE to see silver linings OR just the possibility of rain. You can CHOOSE your HARD... - Struggle through a workout vs struggle to look at yourself & how unhealthy you've become - Struggle to learn a new skill vs struggle in a job you hate. Trying to see beyond your unhappiness, 'bad luck' & bad choices is confronting & can feel impossible...BUT it isn't!! It's possible! Not over night but gradually...taking ONE DAY AT A TIME! Be kind to yourself! Changing your mindset & working on overhauling years of negative thought processes is far from easy but in doing so, you'll reclaim your POWER & take back control of your own happiness. Choosing to go out into the sunshine to drink a cuppa (instead of staying cooped up indoors) won't make your problems disappear...BUT it gives you a few seconds of CALM to REFOCUS your thoughts & a dose of Vitamin D & fresh air, while feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin. In making that choice, you reinforce your self-worth: you deserve time for yourself & you deserve to feel good. It's a simple choice that can completely change how you feel for the better, even if just for a moment. In time, your days can become full of those moments & you'll no longer need to look for the light in the dark. You will BE the light! The beacon of your own happiness ❤️🫂 #mindsetshow more

A childless life is one of the saddest lives... a person can live. It’s sad bc you miss out on one of the greatest forms of happiness a human can ever experience. This is the kind of joy that doesn’t come from $, status, or freedom. Rather, this pure joy comes from loving someone more than yourself. And also there’s a deeper thing of not having kids. Your story, your values, your genetics, all the things that make you unique, don’t get carried forward. Having kids is a bet on the future. It’s like saying, I think tomorrow is worth investing in. But when you choose not to, you’re opting out of the future you could’ve helped shape. This is the kind of happiness, which imo is the highest level of happiness a human can feel, that only exists when you have kids. Being human is awesome. Make more beautiful humans. Have kids. You will never feel ready, and I promise, you won’t regret it.show more

💬 We get asked Can I follow a top... trader's strategy if I don't know how to set the parameters? ❕ Answer from a GT App Specialist: Yes, absolutely! You don’t need to be an expert in technical settings to benefit from professional logic. In our Marketplace, the complex work is already done for you. 🔸 Professional Management When you choose a strategy from a top trader, the parameters are hidden and managed by the expert. You don’t have to worry about RSI, Bollinger Bands, or leverage levels, the maker handles the technical side. 🔸 Automatic Updates The market is always changing, and your strategy should too. If the lead trader updates their settings to match new market conditions, your setup updates automatically. For example, if the trader changes the take-profit level, your running strategy will stay in sync without you lifting a finger. 🔸 You Control the Capital While the trader manages the logic, you remain in control of your money. You only need to decide the allocation how much of your balance you want to use for that specific strategy. Find a strategy that fits your goals in the Marketplace and let the pros handle the rest!show more

Marcus Freeman said, "You can't talk your way into... winning a National Championship. You can't talk your way into being a Hall of Famer...You got to work and you got to constantly focus on improvement." You have to show up and do the work. Your work ethic is something that you can control. • It means competing. • It means committing. • It means showing up consistently. People see success, but they don't see the hard work and preparation it takes. 5 Steps to Improve Your Work Ethic and Focus: 1. Be Intentional About How Your Work - Show up every day with a clear purpose on what you will prepare and why. Think about the quality of your practice, the details, and reflect on where to focus most. This approach ensures your working towards improvement and growth. 2. Show up Committed Every Day - Don't just participate, show up, and commit. It means compete and choose to go above-and-beyond every day. Have a positive attitude and dedicate yourself to what you are doing. When you're focused, present, and engaged that is when growth starts to happen. 3. Be Consistent - You have to be consistent with your habits and work ethic. It means committing to the process of improving and putting in the time. Success doesn't happen overnight, it's the result of consistently showing up and doing the work day in and day out. 4. Prepare Mentally and Physically - This means think about your physical and mental state when you are practicing and when you will perform. Understand what environment allows you to perform your best. Use mindfulness to think about the connection between your mind and body. 5. Create a Plan for When Obstacles Arise - Don’t just imagine the great outcome, visualize what may stop you from reaching it. Prepare for the obstacles. Write them down and plan how you’ll overcome them. This keeps you prepared and resilient when challenges come your way. Takeaway: Talent can you get you into many rooms, but it's your work ethic, focus, and attitude that keep you there. - - - The video comes from Marcus Freeman's interview with Pivot Podcast. #HelloBlessedPeople 🙏🏾 Anything that is going to last requires... intention. It requires discipline. It requires selflessness. It requires consistency when no one is watching. It's worth protecting!! Too many people want something strong but don’t want to build it strong. Which takes work!! Whether it is your faith, your relationships, your character, or your calling, you cannot take days or plays off and expect lasting results. No plays off! No days off! That is not just a mindset for the field. It's prevalent in your relationships, especially the closet & most important ones! No plays/days off is a mindset for life. Love, leadership, and legacy are all built by small decisions made daily and built through effort. Built through sacrifice. Built through pain. Built different!! Be committed, Stay Committed. Be disciplined, Stay Disciplined. Grow & Stay growing! 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” #BBTB #BuiltDifferent #FaithAndFocus #DisciplineWins #DawkTalkshow more

Being sore all the time is not a badge.... It means: - Your volume is too high - Your recovery is in deficit - Your next session is compromised - Your nervous system is still cleaning up the last one - Your growth is being throttled by accumulated damage Soreness is a sign you did something. It is not a sign you did the right thing. A trained muscle in a sensible programme should rarely be sore at all. The first few weeks of a new stimulus, yes. After that, your body adapts. The soreness fades. The growth carries on without it. People treat this as a problem to solve. They add drop sets. They add finishers. They chase the burn. They want that next-day ache back because the ache feels like proof. It is not proof. It is damage your body now has to repair before it can build anything new. The lifters making the most progress walk out of the gym feeling worked but not wrecked. They train the same muscle again 72 hours later because they can. The sore-every-day brigade train it again in a week and call it advanced programming. It's just bad arithmetic.show more

The invisible cost to every Robinhood $HOOD trade you... make - their trades are not free! - "Robinhood trades are not free" - "When you pay for order flow, you're probably charging your customers more, and pretending to be free" - "It's a very dishonourable, low grade way to talk" - "Nobody should believe Robinhood's trades are free" Translation: Robinhood doesn’t charge commissions, but it makes money by selling your trades to market makers i.e. “payment for order flow”. Instead, when you click Buy, Robinhood sells your order to a big trading firm (Citadel etc). That firm executes it and pays Robinhood for sending the order. Example: - If the best price in the market is $10.00, but you get filled at $10.02, that 2 cents difference looks tiny… but over thousands of trades and millions of users, that’s real money. - You didn’t pay a commission, but you still paid in the form of a slightly higher price! You feel like it’s free, but you get slightly worse prices on every trade! That cost is invisible - but you're still paying it! In addition: Those firms (Citadel etc.) also get visibility into retail order flow. They see what millions of small traders are doing and can position themselves more effectively to profit from you!!! Common Sense Investing TIP: - If a business says something is free, but earns money from your activity, it’s not free! - never forget.show more

Europe is quietly becoming what the United States once... promised the world. More and more people are looking at their best years ahead and choosing a place where everyday life is designed to work. Where the future feels stable enough to plan for. Where safety is not a luxury product. Where you can build a good life without gambling your health, your family, or your dignity on one bad month. In much of Europe, the “dream” is not about becoming a billionaire. It is about becoming unafraid. It is the freedom of walking home at night without scanning every shadow. The comfort of knowing that if you get sick, you do not need to calculate whether you can afford to be treated. The relief of having a society that still believes children should carry backpacks, not trauma, and definitely not weapons. The calm of streets built for human beings, not just cars. The ability to take a holiday without feeling like you are committing career suicide. The basic decency of labor protections that assume you are a person first and a resource second. And then there is the part people underestimate until they live it: the texture of life. The cities are older and more beautiful than you expect. The distances are smaller. Weekends are real. Food is real. Public spaces are not just decorative, they are functional. Parks are full. Cafes are full. Trains take you somewhere, often across borders, without turning travel into a stress test. You can live in one country, work with another, and visit a third like it is normal because, in many places, it is. The European dream is also a quiet confidence in the social contract. That if you contribute, the system does not abandon you. That you can raise a family without feeling like you are one accident away from ruin. That “getting ahead” does not require burning out. That a good society is one where normal people can live normal lives and still feel proud of them. This is why more and more Americans are not just visiting Europe, but staying. Some come for studies and never leave. Some arrive for a job and realise the lifestyle is the real promotion. Some originally planned a one year experiment and then cannot imagine going back to a place where stress is treated as a personality trait and insecurity is marketed as freedom. Europe is not perfect. It has bureaucracy. It has politics. It has problems that deserve criticism. But in many European countries, life is still built around a simple idea: society should reduce fear, not monetise it. That is the new dream. And people can feel it the moment they arrive. If you could choose one thing to trade for a better life, what would it be: more income, or more security? And what do you think your country would have to change for people to stop leaving, and start staying? Stay connected, Follow Gandalv Gandalvshow more

When I say “beans and rice, rice and beans,”... I don’t actually mean only eat rice and beans. What it represents is so much more than a low grocery bill. It’s about short-term sacrifice for the long-term win. You can do anything for a few months, even a few years to set yourself up for a lifetime of success. You have to live on less than you make in order to pay off debt, in order to save and invest, in order to be generous. You can’t spend more than you make and end up anywhere except bankruptcy court. And people are doing it every day, everywhere. The stuff I talk about is not hard to understand. It’s very hard to actually go and do it. You’ve got to decide you’re going to DO it. Day in and day out, you’ve drawn a line in the sand, and you are NOT going back. No more excuses. You’re taking control of your actions and your life. I want this to hit home for you today.... You might be reading this knowing you’ve been putting yourself last. Maybe you’re coming out of a tough breakup. Maybe you’re a mom just trying to find a moment for yourself. Maybe you’ve worked your whole life and the thought of adding one more thing feels exhausting. Or maybe you just don’t feel the urge to do more at all. We see the word motivation thrown around everywhere, but here’s the truth. Motivation doesn’t solve problems. It’s that spark of excitement at the start, but when it fades, you’re left with two choices. You either build discipline, or you slip back into old habits. And if right now you don’t feel like you have the strength to want better for yourself, think about the people who love you. They want you here for the long run. They want you at birthdays, at weddings, at family moments that matter. Your partner wants to see you healthy so you can build a future together and pass those habits down to your children. Maybe your reason to change doesn’t start with you, but it can become about you once you decide to try. When you are ready to take charge of your health and transform your lifestyle, working with me is an investment in your best self. ➡️Click the link apply & start your journey Your future self will thank you for the commitment you make today. 💞show more

this is the worst local ai will ever be.... it only gets better from here. if you are not expanding your mind with these small models you are missing what's happening right now 99 percent tool call success rate. when steered well with the right skills and a framework like hermes agent the node becomes a cognition layer. not a chatbot. not a toy. an extension of how you think. i was cranking this node at 35 to 50 tok/s all day on personal experiments and now after all the work is done qwen 3.5 9B is iterating on its own code. the game it created. fixing its own bugs autonomously. and the part you should probably not miss is that all of this is happening on a RTX 3060. not an H100. not an A100. the card most of you have sitting in a drawer right now. if you just open that drawer and put that intelligence to work every tensor core on that card should be running for you. your work. your experiments. your thinking. you all have it but because nobody told you what this hardware can actually do in 2026 you never tried. the day it unlocks is the day you test your workload, understand the tradeoffs, debug the loops, and then decide if you need to scale the hardware. there is no point buying 3 mac studios when things done well you can squeeze a similar level of intelligence from 9B compared to 70B. but only when you create the right environment for your model through the right harness. and let me tell you i have tried claude code as a local harness. i have tried opencode. i have tried various others. somehow i landed on hermes agent and never left. there is something magical going on at Nous Research. the tool call parsers, the skills system, the way it handles small models natively. nothing else comes close for local inference. own your cognition. your AI. your agent. your prompts. your experiments. why give them away for free. those are who you are and they don't belong on someone else's servers being monitored. just give it a shot with your existing hardware. you run into a problem the community will help you. and if you are migrating from openclaw to hermes i will personally help you make the switch.show more

Why the trans transition is the deepest spiritual experience... you can have in this life In our era, many people are disillusioned with traditional religions. They seek true spirituality—practicing transpersonal meditations, attending retreats, doing yoga, or experimenting with psychedelics in hopes of becoming enlightened gurus. 👁️But what if I told you that the most profound spiritual experience I know is transitioning genders? You can’t imagine how much your identity shifts when you become a person of a different gender. ✅You lose everything—your name, your sense of self, your friends, your family. You lose the very core of your identity and start an entirely new life. Yet, somehow, you remain yourself. It feels like you’ve changed absolutely everything you thought defined you. But you’re still you. 🌐You realize that everything you once considered “you” was just social roles. But the real you always existed—beyond whether you’re a man or a woman. This is probably the deepest spiritual experience a person can have. To lose absolutely everything, including yourself, yet understand that none of it was truly you. I’m not even sure if you can grasp what I’ve just written. Can you imagine it? Share your thoughts in the comments!show more
