Russia launched another massive air attack on Ukrainian cities... while people were sleeping. Again, hundreds of drones and missiles, destroying residential buildings and causing civilian casualties. We must maximise the cost of further escalation for Russia. Putin must know that each such attack brings him to Russian assets being fully used for Ukraine’s defense, the rest of shadow tankers, captains, ports, energy, and banks sanctioned, and Ukraine getting additional deterrence packages. Putin must feel the danger of continuing this war—personally for him, his buddies’ pockets, his economy, and his regime. That is what can make him stop this senseless war.show more

Well it's Groundhog Day, again, and that must mean... that Russia is threatening to use nukes. This time, it's the chairman of the Duma demanding the use of "weapons of retribution" for a war THEY started. And if Putin sees his shadow, that means 6 more weeks of nuclear winter.🌨️show more

Ternopil. Kharkiv. Ivano-Frankivsk, Lviv, Donetsk, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv,... Dnipro regions. Today, Russia’s massive attack has left scars across many regions of Ukraine. During the night of November 19, Russia launched more than 470 attack drones and 48 missiles of various types – ballistic and cruise. The key targets of the terrorist state were residential buildings, energy facilities, transport infrastructure, and other civilian and critical objects. At least 9 people were killed in Ternopil. People may still be trapped under the rubble. Dozens of people in the city and other regions were injured, including children. All of this shows that Russia feels unpunished for its war crimes, and therefore continues to escalate its terror. Ukraine urgently needs stronger air defense – first and foremost, missiles, additional systems, expanded capabilities for our combat aviation, and increased drone production to protect lives.show more

Across many of our regions, work is underway to... address the aftermath of Russia’s attack. It is confirmed that Russia launched more than 470 attack drones and 48 missiles of various types against Ukraine overnight – one ballistic and the rest cruise missiles. In Ternopil, residential nine-story buildings were hit, causing fires. Unfortunately, there is significant destruction, and there may be people trapped under the rubble. All necessary emergency services are on the ground, trying to save every life. As of now, dozens of people have been injured and, sadly, 9 people have been killed. My condolences to their families. There was also a massive strike, beginning already in the evening, against our Kharkiv. Dozens of people have been wounded in the city, including children. Energy facilities, transport, and civilian infrastructure have been damaged. Our energy infrastructure in the Ivano-Frankivsk region was attacked as well. Three people were wounded, including two children. In the Lviv region, critical infrastructure and energy facilities were targeted. A person was injured in the Donetsk region. Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Dnipro regions also came under attack. Every brazen attack against ordinary life proves that the pressure on Russia is still insufficient. Effective sanctions and assistance for Ukraine can change this. The top priority is air defense missiles, additional systems, expanded capabilities for our combat aviation, and drone production to protect lives. Russia must be held accountable for its actions, and we must stay focused on everything that strengthens us and enables us to shoot down Russian missiles, neutralize Russian drones, and stop assaults. Thank you to everyone around the world who is helping.show more

Kyiv after another Russian attack — once again, terror... against civilians. Senseless strikes. There is a response — and there will be more. But Russia must stop the fire and end this war. The only way to force madman Putin to do that is through peace through strength. Ukraine will keep growing stronger. Constantly. There will be more of our weapons.show more

I have a theory… I’ve previously stated that I... believe Putin knew about the upcoming attack and did nothing to prevent it because he wanted to blame it on Ukraine to unite and mobilize his country. But what if that wasn’t his reason for not stopping the attack? What if he wanted a big terrorist attack to take place so the world (albeit temporarily) stops seeing Russia as the aggressor and thinks of it as a victim? Also, it's curious that just last night Russia conducted the biggest attack on the energy infrastructure of Ukraine since the beginning of the war, and today it's hardly talked about because of what happened in Crocus City… #Crocus #Moscow #Russia #Putinshow more

I met with Prime Minister of Canada Mark Carney... on the sidelines of the G7 Summit. I informed him about Russia’s overnight attack against our people, civilian infrastructure, and residential buildings, which involved 440 Iranian Shahed drones and 32 missiles, including ballistic ones. We discussed steps for continued diplomatic work with partners within NATO, the G7, and the Coalition of the Willing; strengthening Ukraine’s air defense; and further deepening our military cooperation, including joint weapons production projects and investment in Ukraine’s defense industry. I’m grateful for the imposition of new sanctions targeting Russia’s shadow fleet, a number of Russian individuals, and more than 40 companies in Russia and other countries that are helping Russia circumvent sanctions. I especially thank Canada for its new military assistance for Ukraine — drones, helicopters, and ammunition worth over $2 billion — and the upcoming tranche of over $2 billion financed by proceeds from frozen Russian assets. 🇺🇦🇨🇦show more

I met with the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.... We coordinated our positions ahead of the upcoming meeting of the Coalition of Willing. Now is the time when there is a real chance to end the war and stop Russia. To achieve this, we must continue increasing pressure on the Russian Federation, expand support for Ukraine, and finalize the security guarantees. We discussed the consequences of Russian strikes on Ukraine and the strengthening of our air defense and energy resilience – this is one of our key priorities at this stage. Defense cooperation was also in focus, including concrete solutions that can make Ukraine stronger. I thank France and Emmanuel personally for their support. We value all the assistance provided to protect lives. 🇺🇦🇫🇷show more

Today, I had a substantive meeting with UK Prime... Minister Keir Starmer. Our main objective right now is to stop Russian terror and force Russia into peace. We discussed the development of defense cooperation. Collaboration in this area will allow Ukraine to receive stable funding for important projects, particularly the production of interceptor drones and long-range drones. There is a good outcome from today’s meeting – an additional decision on joint production. I believe it will strengthen both of our countries. Special attention was paid to bolstering our air defense. We also have agreements on this. Thank you! An important issue is the introduction of new sanctions against Russia. Pressure must be applied to the energy and banking sectors, the shadow fleet, the companies that supply dual-use components used in the production of drones and missiles, as well as all those involved in the production of the “Oreshnik” missile system. Anything that helps Putin scale up weapons production must be blocked. I thank Keir Starmer and the United Kingdom for leadership and for all forms of support that help Ukraine protect lives and shield our people from Russian terror.show more

Foreign Ministry of China CHINA MFA Spokesperson 中国外交部发言人 on... Ukraine’s alleged “attack” on Putin’s residence: “War should not be resolved on the battlefield. Dialogue and negotiations are the only realistic way out of the Ukrainian crisis. All parties should work to reduce tensions and create conditions for a political settlement.” First of all, Russia lied. Moscow can see that talks with the US are moving forward, so Putin is once again trying to derail them with lies. But there is also a tiny question for Lin Jian 林剑 : Where was this call for “de-escalation” the day before talks with Trump, when Russia launched over 500 drones and missiles at residential buildings and energy facilities across Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, deliberately leaving civilians freezing in snow and darkness? Selective diplomacy is not peace advocacy.show more

❗️Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov stated that Ukraine... will not be able to surpass Russia in terms of the scale of funding or the number of personnel, but will prevail thanks to new technologies. According to him, during the latest massive attack on Kyiv, Ukrainian air defense intercepted 95% of the “Shahed” drones. With a full fleet of F-16s and a sufficient number of missiles, it would be able to intercept 80–90% of cruise missiles. In May, interceptor drones destroyed nearly 7,000 enemy UAVs. Ten Ukrainian companies are already testing cheap interceptor missiles, preparations for winter are underway, and laser air defense systems are being tested. Each square kilometer of Russian advance costs the Russian military 400 killed.show more

Selling Russian oil means financing the killing of Ukrainians.... Under the laws and customs of war, tankers transporting Russian oil are a legitimate military target. 🔹️21 July 2023: “The Ministry of Defence of Ukraine warns that starting from 00:00 on 21 July 2023, all vessels sailing in the Black Sea towards ports of the Russian Federation or Ukrainian seaports temporarily occupied by Russia may be considered by Ukraine as carrying military cargo, with all corresponding risks”. This was Ukraine’s response to a similar statement issued by the Russian Federation. Since then, Russia has attacked Ukrainian ports dozens of times, damaging many ships and killing and injuring crew members and dockworkers. 🔹️28 November 2025: Ukrainian naval drones struck two sanctioned tankers of Russia’s shadow fleet, KAIRO and VIRAT, in the Black Sea as they were heading for loading at the port of Novorossiysk. The operation was carried out jointly by the 13th Main Directorate of the SBU’s military counterintelligence and the Ukrainian Navy. Ukraine did not start this war. Every day our children, our civilians are being killed. Russian oil is a source of funding for an aggressive war and a priority military target.show more

Take a listen to the sounds above my home—and... thousands of Ukrainian homes—this morning. Air defense is repelling Russian strikes. Ukraine has been under massive air attack since last night, with ballistic, cruise, and cluster missiles, as well as hundreds of drones, targeting people throughout the country. While Russia claims to be preparing for meetings to discuss peace, what it actually does is attack, terrorize, and destroy. Speaking of meetings, Russia has not so far sent us, Türkiye, the United States, or anyone else its so-called "memorandum." No one even knows what they are going to talk about. Instead, Russia launches new deadly attacks against Ukraine. Unlike the mythical "memorandum," we can clearly see and hear Russia’s true “messages”, its missiles and drones. Everyone needs to hear and see that Russia clearly rejects peace, ceasefire, and any constructive proposals from around the world. Russia will only become serious about peace once it feels another level of pressure.show more

I discussed priorities for supporting Ukraine in the military... and energy sectors with Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre. It’s important to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense and advance the PURL initiative, which enables us to purchase missiles for air defense systems from the United States. Protected skies over Ukraine are one of the key factors that will force Russia to end this war. We also discussed continuing energy assistance to Ukraine. I thank Norway and the Prime Minister for all the help provided, including the protection of our people's lives with NASAMS missiles and assistance to our energy sector. We greatly value this support.show more

Last night, Russia attacked Ukraine with about 550 aerial... targets: 539 drones, Kinzhal missile, six ballistic missiles, four cruise missiles. Kyiv was the main target. As of now, 23 people injured by the attack. The massive Russian attack took place right after Putin talked with President Trump. Obviously, that was intentional. If an appropriate reaction in the form of new sanctions and weapons to Ukraine doesn't follow, Putin will see that as an approval of further terror on Ukrainian civilians.show more

Putin gave his terrorist response to the United States’... and President Trump’s peace proposals. With a barrage of missiles and drones against Ukraine. At least six civilians were killed and over a dozen injured in Kyiv as a result of Russia’s overnight strike with drones and ballistic, cruise, and aeroballistic missiles. Odesa, as well as the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Kyiv regions, has also been under strike. Ordinary residential buildings and critical civilian energy infrastructure have been damaged, further disrupting power, water, and heating for people amid cold temperatures. Ukraine is committed to peace efforts, and we stress the need to use all available tools to force the aggressor to end the war. Pressure on Russia, as well as strength and unity among transatlantic allies, remains critical to put an end to this war.show more

Key point. Putin never said he would defeat Ukraine... in 7 days. In his address to Ukrainian politicians before the war, he said verbatim: “You want decommunization? Well then. We are ready to show what full decommunization means for Ukraine.” The essence of the phrase is that the communists created all of Ukraine: territory, energy sector, infrastructure… And if Ukraine considers that period an occupation, it must rid itself of all of it. So, everything happening in Ukraine today is decommunization. Ukraine is losing territories, energy, and infrastructure. Everyone who wants the war to drag on is just fueling Ukraine's decommunization.. Putin made his offer 3 years ago. Putin had no intention to seize all Ukraine.show more
