'Beast Mode' With Increased Firepower China's J-35 fifth-generation stealth fighter has been seen in a new configuration carrying four PL-15 long-range air-to-air missiles on external pylons under its wings. Combined with the six missiles it carries inside its internal weapons bays, the aircraft can now go into combat with up to ten air-to-air missiles in total. 🔸This setup is informally called "beast mode" — a term borrowed from the U.S. military's similar configuration for the F-35. The idea is straightforward: the aircraft trades some of its stealth capability for significantly more firepower. August 1990, two hikers walking near Calvine in the... Scottish Highlands reported seeing a large, diamond shaped object hovering in the sky. The men claimed the object was metallic and remained stationary for several minutes before blasting upward at high speed. They also reported observing a military jet aircraft in the vicinity, which appeared to circle near the object. It appeared to be a Harrier VTOL jet. One of the hikers photographed the scene, producing a image that later became one of the most discussed UFO photographs in the United Kingdom. The photographs were reportedly submitted to local UK authorities and eventually passed to the Ministry of Defence (MOD). Not sure if those are the famous ‘four hair dryers’ under the wings or the bigger Trent 500s, but damn it still looks majestic. I’m not type-rated on the A340, so I can only admire from far away . These birds are becoming proper unicorns now... He exited from the passenger door, re-entered from the passenger door, and slid over to the driver’s side. The Cybercab’s seats have no middle obstruction, which allows an easy slide across to either side. This makes it safer to exit while avoiding oncoming traffic. The Cybercab can also park very close to the curb and open its butterfly doors upward to avoid scrapping or hitting the curb.
