Tried the PBR Painter plugin for Blender to refine my texturing and it's honestly great! Only the primitive texture painting engine of Blender is holding it back (e.g. brush size locked to screen space) Still a blessing not having to export to Substance for shader authoring.

I made a stream overlay that recreates the Metal Gear Solid torture sequence with Twitch Chat. Chat has to spam emotes to resist torture, simulating the button mashing in the original game. If their HP goes to zero, it triggers the game over screen.

This guy has either never used a MiSTer FPGA, or he's deliberately spreading misinformation. The video he linked, complete with timestamp, does not show the core crashing at all. Instead, it shows the credits screen listing those involved in the development of the project. From what I can see, this appears to be the core credits screen that was likely mapped to a controller button and triggered accidentally (I've done it myself). I've attached the video in question. Have a look and let me know if you think I'm missing something, but based on what I can see, this doesn't look like a crash whatsoever. Link to the tweet in question:
