David Sinclair has spent decades reverse-engineering aging inside his Harvard lab. He proved aging is a disease, not an inevitability. He revealed 10 "normal" habits that are secretly speeding up how fast you age: 1. Eating breakfast every single day

Sinclair skips it entirely. He eats in a two-hour window at night. Constant fuel keeps insulin high, and high insulin mutes your longevity genes.

2. Eating too often throughout the day Every time you eat, insulin rises. High insulin all day keeps your sirtuins switched off.

3. Taking a daily multivitamin Sinclair takes none. His reasoning: - Excess iron builds up senescent "zombie" cells - Those cells sit in your tissue leaking inflammation - You're supplementing something your body needs less of, not more

4. Popping high-dose antioxidants for immunity His own field bet on this in the 90s. The longevity results never came.

5. Walking through airport body scanners Sinclair opts for the pat-down instead. Radiation exposure is cumulative, not reset to zero. Decades of just this once adds up.

6. Getting routine dental X-rays He went six years without one, on purpose. One X-ray won't hurt you.

7. Taking growth hormone to feel young fast Sinclair is blunt about this one. Growth hormone is pro-aging, full stop. The longest-lived mice in his studies had the least of it.

8. Skipping the CRP blood test Most people only check cholesterol. CRP is the single best marker for cardiovascular inflammation.

9. Never letting your body feel adversity Sinclair fasts, trains, and rests deliberately. Cells need to sense some adversity before they defend themselves. A life that's too comfortable keeps those defenses asleep.

10. Never checking your biological age Sinclair tracks over 45 biomarkers on himself. Most people rely on one annual checkup instead.

Fasting isn't about starving yourself. It's about giving your body the right kind of stress, at the right frequency, to trigger repair.

@ProjectGokuu Complete nonsense - humans are mortals, so better enjoy your life by living a natural and balanced life. No need to plan, disease and death come on their own. What you describe only advances the inevitable while you miss life.

@ProjectGokuu All he's doing is upping the stress hormones in his body, not good. This is anything BUT anti-aging. You need to study the work of Ray Pete.

@ProjectGokuu The thing about fasting everyday, all day: how do you stay nutritionally healthy if close to no calories, protein, essential fats, vitamins and minerals! That can backfire seriously! I still feel it is reckless. Cut back but stay within a decent caloric intake.

@ProjectGokuu Transhumanist fucks They're so detached from nature they forget the circle of life>death>life is what makes us human Next, he will be designing trees that don't shed leaves And then, perhaps abolish the seasons?

@ProjectGokuu Reverse this Skip supper, stop eating mid/late afternoon, fast all evening/night so your body repairs as you sleep, and when you awake you BREAK the fast. If you eat within hours of bedtime, your body is stuck in slow digestion mode instead of autophagy/phagocytosis/apoptosis

@ProjectGokuu I'm up at 6 and it's rehydration with NAC, C, L-Glycine, Taurine on an empty stomach and he's right about fasting, but by god you have to have breakfast!! Especially eggs and good fats, maybe 45 minutes after your rehydration.

@ProjectGokuu so you skip the tiny radiation dose at the airport body scanner, just to board an airplane for a radiation dose similar to a chest Xray?

@ProjectGokuu “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day” is the greatest lie being told in the past 50 years. Hydration in the morning is the most important meal. 10AM-4PM is our max digestive cycle. Any 4-9PM eating should avoid carbs and sugars.

Dr. David Sinclair said something to Prof Andrew Huberman that left me thinking... "Your cells are forgetting who they are." That is not a metaphor. That is the biological mechanism behind aging itself. Dr. David Sinclair then explained how it works... Every cell in your body carries the same DNA. A nerve cell and a skin cell are genetically identical. What makes them different is which genes are switched on and which are kept silent. That system of switches is called the epigenome. Think of DNA as a music library. The epigenome is the playlist. Each cell plays a specific set of songs. As long as every cell plays the right playlist, the body works perfectly. Aging is what happens when the playlists get corrupted. Genes that should stay silent start activating in the wrong cells. The cell loses its identity. It forgets what it was built to do. And according to Dr. David Sinclair, that single process is the root cause of heart disease, Alzheimer's, and most cancers. Not separate problems. The same problem, showing up in different places. The part that stopped me cold was what comes after that. If aging is information loss, it can be reversed by restoring the information. Dr. David Sinclair's lab has already done this in animals. When they restored the epigenetic signals, the cells remembered what they were. The aging reversed. Huberman asked whether the diseases go away too. Dr. David Sinclair did not hedge. " If you turn the clock back in tissues, those diseases go away." Every generation inherits assumptions about what the body can and cannot do. This one just changed. Follow @YourDocGoku for the science rewriting what we thought was permanent. David Sinclair
