Icepi Zero Linux SoC

KianV v0.9 hell bootloader fucks up memory like a corner case hunter

@micko_mame 👆

ICEpi Zero ECP5 v1.2 is now officially supported. The SDRAM controller has been reworked to meet JEDEC specs with a refresh scheduler and open row policy for fewer cycles. FPGA RISC-V @icyelectronics

KianV RISC-V | JEDEC SDRAM Controller (LogicDestroyer / Hellraiser Style) — UPDATE: Scheduler + Open-Row Policy

@icyelectronics Icepi Zero looks like a splendid piece of hardware I was waiting for, ECP5 with all the connectors I need and RAM! Judging by the speed KianRV SoC is running, it will be a complete overkill for my retro stuff ;) I immediately ordered 2 from @crowd_supply @icyelectronics

New favorite FPGA board: Tiny, running Kianv Linux. This week I’ll solder it for network support, and maybe finally implement cross clock domains too.

Had to rework the SDRAM controller, it was acting up with Winbond. Now it runs with Micron and Winbond… plus added a refresh scheduler. Hitting the repo soon… and 3 weeks vacation – lmao. @micko_mame @YosysHQ GateMate should work with the new controller.

@YosysHQ @machdyne my friend!

Bam!

full drama

@icyelectronics this setup is sweet, love seeing linux run on these boards, perfect for diy projects
