Recap of the highlights from my Portfolio Site. I spent ~572 hours on this site. Made in Webflow with GSAP Sounds like way too much — but I used this project to learn Webflow, GSAP, animation basics, and to get a feeling for web animations. So it happened quite often that I had to rebuild modules after learning something new. Sometimes there were performance drops, which led me to rebuild even more. I used Swup JS for the first time to create a page transition. That took so much time. With this project, I also built a base boilerplate for future projects, so I can create new sites faster. And there were so many other things I tried for the first time. All in all, I learned a lot just by building. Check it out live! Link in the comments.

A lot of big things underway at Giga Texas & honestly, it is getting hard to keep track of it all, from production across several products to construction on 4 major projects at the site, along with hundreds of other activities! It’s a new week, and many people are considering starting their building projects. One thing I’ve observed is that most project challenges don’t begin during construction, they begin long before the brief is even properly defined. Questions like: Is the budget realistic? Am I truly prepared to start this project? Which professional competence can I rely on to guide me through it? When these are not clearly addressed at the outset, the project becomes much harder to control in terms of cost, time, and quality. Proper planning and early professional input make the entire process more predictable, structured, and efficient. And one key principle to always remember: the best way to save cost in construction is to do it right the first time.

soobin about sasaengs (stalkers) 🐰 i thought that i should take about this someday later but it happened during my break this time and even when i went on a trip with my friend to sapporo last time…i don’t know how they find out, they probably buy my flight information…there are people who wait at the airport. this is not a schedule but me during my free time…moas already know how much i like going on international trips…it’s not just me going on a trip by myself, i always go with my friends so you waiting at the airport, taking videos and following us…when i’m alone, i can just ignore it but it’s really uncomfortable for my friends 🐰 the reason i barely came on dms during the break this time is also…i usually share what i’m doing in real time or share selfies in real time on dms but i felt like these people would follow me if i said what i was doing or if i sent a selfie so i couldn’t send any dms…i didn’t send them so i’m sorry to moas who missed me but i didn’t want my real-time information to be leaked so i didn’t send anything 🐰 even the local fans that i met…i told them that i was on a private trip so although it’s okay for them to take pictures and i can sign for them…i asked if they could post it a week later because i thought them uploading it right away would interfere with my trip…i explained this to them and took pictures and signed for them and while i was on the trip, nobody actually uploaded sightings of me and i was really grateful to the local fans for that…but although it wasn’t uploaded anywhere, there were people who came to the airport 🐰 i’m not one bit happy to see you and it’s very uncomfortable so i hope you don’t do things like this again

Another massive new construction project underway at Giga Texas, this time on the very far W of the site across FM973 & near the Tesla Rd intersection. It looks like some of this is to move the rental equipment lot further away to allow a new graded area for a new construction project. What this is is still uncertain, but I do know changes in plans & permits have been underway as the entire Giga Texas site is seeing wide scale massive construction projects that are literally transforming what the overall campus visually looks like. We may hear more about all these projects at the 2nd Qtr Financial Results meeting on Wednesday … certainly the cash flow and Capital expenditures will be a topic of discussion, but you will already know all about that via the coverage of Giga Texas construction! 😎
