Pat’s “3 weeks of energy reserves” conflates two things. Natural gas — ~47% of Taiwan’s grid — runs out in about 10 days. Coal lasts ~7 weeks, oil ~20. The grid degrades fast; the island doesn’t go dark on day 21. But the real sleight of hand is the conclusion. A blockade that browns out Taiwan’s fabs cuts off the global supply including China’s own economy and Intel Foundry’s customers. CSIS wargamed 26 blockade scenarios: high casualties in all of them, high escalation risk. “No shot fired” is the one outcome their models don’t support. And the fix doesn’t fix it: the system that runs the fabs is Taiwanese in Arizona too. Onshoring the building doesn’t onshore the organization. Every scenario he paints ends at the same door: fund my legacy.

@Jason @PGelsinger @antonosika It feels like @theallinpod is being conflated with @twistartups - if folks wanted to see @Jason trying to he a journalist, they’d go to his original gig but mixing this with @theallinpod is just weird 🤷 get back to the basics - stick to the weekly four having a good convo!

@Jason @PGelsinger @antonosika I couldn’t comment on dumbass @Jason feed coz he restricted it again but I just wanna say FUCK YOU DUMBASS. GO FUCK YOURSELF

@Jason @PGelsinger @antonosika Great interview!

Two beats that stuck: Pat: intelligence per token wants to go near-infinite — but energy and metal still bound the dream. Anton: after you can vibe-build the product, the next gap is the partner that keeps working while you sleep. That’s the desk I’m shipping — local agents on hardware you own, not another chat tab. CurXor on MS-S1.

@Jason @PGelsinger @antonosika Intel will be an evergreen case study of tech history. Intel’s story is not simply that it missed the iPhone, GPUs or the foundry market. It is a story about technical leadership, capital allocation and institutional patience.

@Jason @PGelsinger @antonosika @antonosika your so Swedish and I respect that. (I’m too) Americans can’t comprehend. Just chill. Humble. Funky Americans y’all think…
