Infrastructure, Investment, and Water Conservation – Maharashtra on the Rise!✨ It was an overwhelming moment to be at 'TiEcon Mumbai 2025: India’s Leading Entrepreneurial Leadership Summit' in Mumbai, today. Humbled to receive the 'TiE Mumbai Hall of Fame' award at the hands of the legendary, Infosys founder Narayana Murthy ji. This award is a proud recognition of the governance model we embarked on in 2014 under the visionary leadership of our Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji. Receiving this award today is not just an honour but a realization that our efforts are making a real difference and that we are on the right path together. All these transformative infrastructure projects in Maharashtra, especially in Mumbai and MMR—be it the Coastal Road, Atal Setu, Metro Network, or the Vadhavan Project—have become a reality because of our governance, which turned aspirations into achievements. Every project has been backed by thorough study and dedicated efforts, and under the visionary leadership of Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji, we have worked relentlessly to make them happen. Today, these ongoing projects are set to boost the State’s growth significantly. The 4th Mumbai will be created in the area of Vadhavan which will emerge as a dynamic new city, driving massive GDP growth and creating a thriving business ecosystem. In just 5 years, we planned and initiated 372 Km of metro, out of which 150 Km is now delivered. With each passing year, we will continue expanding and delivering more, ensuring a stronger and more connected Maharashtra. Being recognized for water conservation is a significant achievement. In 2014, 14 schemes were executed by 6 different departments. We streamlined them into one scheme, one leader, and one department, launching the ambitious 'Jalyukt Shivar' initiative. Our goal was to make 25,000 villages drought-free, and the Marathwada region saw a significant rise in water levels. In the 2020 Government of India's Groundwater Report, Maharashtra was the only state to show improvement compared to others. This award also recognizes investments, and once again, Maharashtra has become the top destination for FDI. This year, we have broken all previous records—surpassing our own ₹31,000 crore investment milestone from 2016-17. In just 9 months, we have secured ₹1.39 lakh crore in investments, with 50% of the country's FDI flowing into Maharashtra. Today, Maharashtra stands as the new startup capital of India. We are dedicated to reviving Mumbai’s glory and propelling Maharashtra to unmatched greatness! On this occasion, the Founding President of TiE Mumbai Harish Mehta, Uday Mohan, TiE Mumbai President Ranu Vohra and other dignitaries were present. Since Virat Kohli has announced his retirement from T20is, here something which I had written something for him few months back:(attaching an edit made by Amit Dubey which I found these lyrics fit aptly on Virat) March 2, 2008 This day holds great significance for Indian cricket because, on one hand, India defeated Australia in their own backyard in the first final of the CB series, and at the same time, nearly 6000 kilometers away, India's young brigade had won the Under-19 World Cup. After the World Cup victory, when this team returned to Bangalore from Kuala Lumpur, BCCI gave a grand welcome to the Under-19 team, and Kumble and Dravid were also present there. Dravid congratulated all the young players and imparted some wisdom. He said, "We are proud of you, but I want you to remember that from the Under-19 team that won the World Cup in 2000, only one member was part of the Indian team that won the CB Series." "What you have achieved is not everything, and your goal should be to win the World Cup one day." The young captain of that Under-19 team was listening carefully , and just three years later, he was part of the ODI World Cup-winning team. But the world had yet to witness the prowess of Kohli - the batter in a World Cup... By the next World Cup, Kohli had established himself among the World's best batsmen, but as in life, achieving everything in cricket is not easy. Kohli and the Indian team ended their 2015 World Cup campaign in disappointment. After becoming a regular part of the Indian team, 2015 was the first year when Kohli scored runs at an average of less than 40! Soon after, Kohli was given the responsibility of captaincy, which brought out a new brilliance in his batting. By the next World Cup, Kohli had scored 18 centuries & more than 4000 runs in ODIs at an average of 85 in just three years... Once again, India entered the 2019 World Cup as favorites and justified this tag, entering the semifinals as table toppers. But like in 2015, both Kohli & the Indian team were left with disappointment once again. Whereas the defeat in 2015 had shown us a new level of Kohli, after the loss in 2019, much had changed. In the meantime, there was COVID, a lack of regular games, a century drought, captaincy controversies, and numerous challenges, and another World Cup had arrived... The batsman who had scored more than 11,000 runs and 42 centuries between the 2011 World Cup and the 2023 World Cup (where no one else had even scored 10,000 runs or 30 centuries in ODIs)... I'm not even talking about Tests and T20Is where Kohli has set countless records. Despite all this, the expectation of "Doing even better" from fans and Kohli himself is the true mark of Virat's success. This "excellence" has always defined Virat, which is why a boy from West Delhi, along with Basu Shanker, trained himself like Olympic athletes and influenced not just fellow cricketers but the entire nation's fitness culture. Kohli's competition has never been with any cricketer, but with himself. Nonetheless, this World Cup was special too. Like in 2011, this World Cup was about playing and winning in front of his own people, and it must have reminded Kohli of Dravid's words once again: "What you have achieved is not everything." From winning the first match of this World Cup when India was 2/3 to sealing the victory, to exorcising the ghosts of 5/3 against the Kiwis in the semifinals with a 397/4, and breaking two long-standing records of his idol in front of him, only to get the biggest heartbreak of his career in the final against Australia... Such losses can break your mental toughness & especially in India where experts judges you even on the basis of franchise leagues,Virat too found himself again " evolving himself" in a format which he had already mastered... He came into this T20 World Cup with a new role & responsibility for the Team which supported by the Captain & Coach... He couldn't performed as per his fans expectations but you can see that willingness to prove that I can change myself with the demand of modern T20 even at final stage of my career... Virat is not just a name but a symbol that signifies: if there is truth in your dreams & strength in your resolve, everything is possible...

Palghar is becoming Maharashtra's next growth engine. This district is not just a part of Maharashtra's growth story. It is the chapter that will define it. Under the visionary leadership of Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji, projects that once seemed distant possibilities are today taking concrete shape. Reviewed key aspects of the proposed Vadhavan Port at Chinchani Beach, including internal road network, forest clearances, power supply, rail connectivity, land acquisition, water supply, skill development and compensation for fishermen. Spread over 1,448 hectares with an estimated cost of ₹76,220 crore, this greenfield port will handle next-generation vessels with a 20-metre deep draft, making it capable of berthing the world's largest ships, something no Indian port can offer today. At three times the capacity of JNPA, it will rank among the world's top 10 ports and is expected to generate 10 lakh jobs. What matters equally to me is how we build this. Through open dialogue, fair rehabilitation, ITI upgradation, skill training and a dedicated fisheries institute, we are committed to ensuring that the people of this land, our tribal communities, our fishermen, our youth, are not just witnesses to this progress but its primary beneficiaries. Also inspected the ongoing construction work and reviewed the project layout of the Boisar Station under the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project. Work is progressing well and officials have been instructed to maintain pace and quality within the decided timelines. Once operational, Boisar will connect to BKC in under thirty minutes, opening up this entire region economically. This is a project that will genuinely change the character of Palghar. Also reviewed the site of the proposed offshore Airport in Palghar district, which is going to be India's first offshore airport. This project adds a critical third dimension to this connectivity picture. Situated in proximity to the Dedicated Freight Corridor, the Bullet Train, the Uttan-Virar Sea Link, the Mumbai-Vadodara Expressway and the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway, it will significantly improve connectivity while easing the growing passenger load on Mumbai Airport. The pre-feasibility report has confirmed the site as viable and the DPR has been ordered today. Also discussed the MMRDA-developed Narangi Creek Bridge, a ₹850 crore, 4.10 km project that will directly connect Vasai-Virar with Saphale, Palghar and Boisar, reducing travel distance by nearly 40 km and travel time by around 45 minutes. Also held detailed discussions on the Uttan-Virar Sea Link, a proposed six-lane project worth approximately ₹58,754 crore that once complete will directly connect to the Mumbai-Ahmedabad National Highway, making travel between South Mumbai and Ahmedabad faster, safer and more convenient. Inspected the construction and reviewed progress on the Vadodara-Mumbai section of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, one of India's most ambitious infrastructure undertakings. A defining feature of this 8-lane greenfield corridor is its direct connectivity to JNPA, enabling faster, more efficient and cost-effective freight movement from North India and giving a major boost to the country's logistics chain. It will also offer a reliable alternative to the congested Thane-Bhiwandi-Ghodbunder routes, with travel time between Vadodara and Mumbai set to reduce from 8 hours to approximately 4 once complete. Vadhavan Port, Bullet Train, Offshore Airport, Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, Uttan-Virar Sea Link, Narangi Creek Bridge, Virar-Alibaug Corridor. Each project is significant on its own. Together, they are building the Fourth Mumbai, a new economic centre of gravity rising in Palghar, under the visionary leadership of Hon PM Shri Narendra Modi Ji and the resolve of a government that has cleared decades of stalled decisions. Palghar is emerging as a major growth engine for Maharashtra, opening new opportunities in ports, transport, industry, exports and employment. This is the Maharashtra we are building, and Palghar is leading the way. Minister Ganesh Naik ji, Minister Nitesh Rane, MP Dr Hemant Savara, MLA Rajendra Gavit and senior officials were present. 🙏 जय महाराष्ट्र Ganesh Naik Nitesh Rane Dr. Hemant Savara Mp Rajendra Gavit Official #Maharashtra #Palghar #InfrastructureDevelopment

5 Foreign Universities in Maharashtra 🎓 Delighted to be a part of 'LOI Granting Ceremony of 5 foreign universities to establish campuses in Maharashtra' at the ‘Mumbai Rising – Creating an International Education City’ project along with Hon Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan ji in Mumbai. While addressing, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the entire global community for standing in solidarity with India and the families who lost their loved ones in the tragic Ahmedabad plane crash. Gratitude towards Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji for his visionary leadership in bringing forth India’s New Education Policy. For years, there has been talk of bringing world-class universities to India offering world-class education not just to Indian students, but also to learners from across the globe. Today, we are finally witnessing that vision come to life. This moment has been made possible by the unwavering leadership of Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji and Hon Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan ji, who have led this transformation from the front. In a remarkable display of commitment and efficiency, Letters of Intent (LOIs) have been handed over to 5 globally esteemed universities. Special appreciation to the University Grants Commission (UGC), which made this milestone possible in record time of just 1 month. It was really great to extend warm welcome to all 5 esteemed universities to Maharashtra—and to the vibrant city of Mumbai. Their presence adds immense value to the city’s growing stature as a global hub for education and innovation. The idea of creating a world-class Educity took shape when the NEP opened doors for global universities to enter India. We’ve always envisioned Maharashtra and especially Mumbai as a global education hub. I appreciate CIDCO, the Urban Development Dept for swiftly identifying a prime, well-connected location—close to Navi Mumbai Airport and linked to South Mumbai via Atal Setu in under less then 30 minutes. This Educity will be a true extension of South Mumbai, right in New Mumbai’s heart. Apart from Educity, plans are underway for a MediCity and Sports City. The "Samruddhi" Expressway of Maharashtra – A Dream Fulfilled! In my eyes, the dream of a prosperous Maharashtra was always alive… Today, I was elated to inaugurate the last phase of 'Hinduhrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Maharashtra Samruddhi Mahamarg' (Igatpuri to Amne, Thane - 76 km) and Thane Creek Bridge No. 3 South Side on Sion-Panvel Mahamarg in Igatpuri, Nashik. Back in 2014, we dreamt of a transformative highway that would redefine connectivity and prosperity in Maharashtra. Today, that dream stands realised! This is more than just a road — it’s Maharashtra’s Economic Lifeline. Aptly named after Hinduhrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray, this Samruddhi Mahamarg has now seamlessly connected 24 districts directly to JNPT. And soon, it will extend further to the upcoming Vadhavan Port — unlocking unprecedented economic potential for our state. Samruddhi Mahamarg will not just serve as a route for travel, but will become the backbone of Maharashtra’s economic development. The extensive machinery involved in this project was also specially appreciated. Built at a cost of ₹55,335 crore, this 701-kilometre-long expressway was completed in record time. It was noted that the success of this project is largely due to the valuable contributions of MSRDC, the Public Works Department, engineers, officials, contractors, machine owners, and the thousands of labourers who worked tirelessly day and night. A 76-kilometre stretch of the Samruddhi Mahamarg passes through Nashik and Thane districts. The tunnel near Igatpuri, which is 8 kilometres long, is the longest in the State and the widest in the country. A decision has been made to undertake plantation drives along the Samruddhi Mahamarg and the Palkhi route through the Forest Department. Advanced technology has been employed to make the expressway accident-free. The 1st phase of the Samruddhi Mahamarg was inaugurated by Hon PM Narendra Modi Ji, the 2nd phase was inaugurated by the then CM and now DCM Eknath Shinde ji, and the 3rd phase by Minister Dadaji Bhuse. Today, the final phase of this grand highway has been inaugurated collectively by all representatives of the MahaYuti Sarkar. The Samruddhi Mahamarg has been completed in record time, and similarly, work on the access-controlled Shaktipeeth Mahamarg—set to transform Marathwada’s economy—will begin soon. To ease congestion on the Vashi Bridge over Thane Creek, the newly inaugurated Thane Creek Bridge No. 3 on the Sion-Panvel Highway marks a major step. The 'Missing Link' project on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway will also be completed shortly. We have not only inaugurated an expressway, but we laid a strong foundation for future infrastructure development. These projects are not just about reducing geographical distances—they are about propelling the State’s journey of progress forward. As I drove on this expressway today, I recalled all the challenges we faced, but the resolve remained unshaken. And this dream has been fulfilled! This is not just a road… It’s a path leading to prosperity, progress, and endless possibilities. DCM Eknath Shinde ji, DCM Ajitdada Pawar, Minister Dadaji Bhuse, Minister Shivendra Raje Bhonsle, Minister Narhari Zirwal, MoS Meghna Bordikar, MLC Niranjan Davkhare, MLA Kisan Kathore and other dignitaries were present. As per some estimates there are more than 11 million buried mines world over which remain uncleared and are causing casualties or maiming of both soldiers and civilians in peace time. Bhaumastra, a drone-based system under development by SDAL, would be the first of its kind in any developed nation to provide a drone-based solution to this global problem. It was a proud and inspirational moment for all the 10,000 employees of Solar Group, Nagpur to be witness to this important milestone in the History of their Company where the Prime Minister was among their midst. An emotional send off was given to the Hon’ble PM by the 3 generations of the SDAL Group management viz. Shri Satyanarayan Nuwal, Chairman, Shri Manish Nuwal CEO and Managing Director and Mr Raghav Nuwal.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand was far more than a diplomatic tour. It was a strategic assertion of India’s growing role as a leading power in the Indian Ocean and Indo-Pacific, delivering concrete outcomes across defence, trade, technology, energy security, critical minerals, digital innovation, culture and people-to-people ties. The visit has imparted fresh momentum to India’s engagement across the Indian Ocean, from Seychelles in the west to Indonesia in the east, while reinforcing partnerships with Australia and New Zealand in the wider Indo-Pacific. It reflects the success of India’s multi-alignment approach, where strategic autonomy is translating into meaningful partnerships based on mutual trust and shared interests. Strategic and Defence Partnerships India’s strategic partnerships across the region have reached a new level. Indonesia welcomed India’s participation in the integrated development of Sabang Port, creating new opportunities for connectivity between India’s Andaman & Nicobar Islands and Indonesia’s Sumatra, while facilitating trade, investment and regional prosperity. With Australia, India further strengthened its Comprehensive Strategic Partnership through a Joint Declaration on Defence and Security Cooperation, a Maritime Security Collaboration Roadmap, enhanced maritime domain awareness, greater intelligence sharing, expanded joint patrols and an agreement to service each other’s naval vessels. India and New Zealand elevated bilateral ties to a Strategic Partnership and adopted a Roadmap to 2030, providing a structured framework for cooperation in defence, trade, technology, education and people-to-people exchanges. Defence cooperation also witnessed major breakthroughs. Indonesia decided to further expand its inventory of BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles and expressed interest in India’s indigenous defence platforms such as the Astra beyond-visual-range missile, underlining India’s emergence as a trusted defence manufacturing partner. India and New Zealand signed a Mutual Logistics Support Arrangement, maritime cooperation agreements and established a Maritime Security Dialogue, while New Zealand joined the Maritime Security pillar of India’s Indo-Pacific Oceans Initiative. Critical Minerals and Energy Security The visit significantly strengthened India’s long-term resource security. India and Australia established a Critical Minerals Corridor covering lithium, cobalt and rare earths, shifting cooperation beyond imports to joint investments in processing and value addition. India also deepened cooperation with Indonesia to leverage its vast nickel reserves for electric vehicles, batteries and clean energy manufacturing. In just two years, India has now concluded critical minerals partnerships with 24 countries while negotiating with 11 more, an extraordinary achievement in securing supply chains for future technologies. Another landmark outcome was Australia’s long-term uranium supply agreement with India. Australia possesses nearly one-third of the world’s known uranium reserves, making this partnership critical for India’s ambitious target of achieving 100 GW of nuclear power capacity by 2047. New Zealand also joined the India-led Global Biofuels Alliance, further strengthening international cooperation on sustainable energy. Trade, Investment and Economic Cooperation Economic partnerships received a major boost. India and Australia reaffirmed their commitment to an ambitious Comprehensive Economic Cooperation Agreement while AustralianSuper announced an additional investment of AU$500 million in India’s National Investment and Infrastructure Fund, taking its total exposure in India to AU$3.3 billion. India and New Zealand committed to doubling bilateral trade to NZ$7 billion by 2030 and accelerating implementation of the India–New Zealand Free Trade Agreement signed earlier this year. These developments reinforce growing global confidence in India’s economic growth story and investment ecosystem. Digital Public Infrastructure and Education India’s Digital Public Infrastructure continues to emerge as a global public good. Indonesia launched the Indonesia Open Network (ION), built entirely on the architecture of India’s Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), marking another milestone in the internationalisation of India’s digital innovations. Both countries also advanced work on UPI-based cross-border QR payment integration, enabling seamless digital transactions. An agreement to establish an international campus of IIM Bangalore in Indonesia further expanded India’s educational footprint in Southeast Asia. Culture and Civilisational Partnerships India’s soft power received an equally significant boost. Prime Minister Modi and President Prabowo jointly launched the conservation of the UNESCO World Heritage Prambanan Temple complex, led by the Archaeological Survey of India, reaffirming centuries-old civilisational ties. Australia announced the repatriation of three priceless ancient Indian artefacts from Tamil Nadu, while India and New Zealand signed new agreements to deepen cultural cooperation and maritime heritage collaboration. These initiatives reflect India’s growing role in preserving shared global heritage. Sports and People-to-People Ties India and Australia unveiled a Sports Collaboration Roadmap at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground covering cricket, sports science, youth exchanges and technology. The announcement that the opening match of Australia’s Big Bash League will be played in Chennai later this year marks another milestone in sporting cooperation. India and New Zealand adopted a Joint Action Plan on Sport spanning rugby, rowing, athletics, golf, sports medicine and high-performance training. Diplomatic Recognition The warmth extended during the visit reflected India’s rising global stature. President Prabowo personally received and saw off Prime Minister Modi, accompanied him to the Prambanan Temple and ensured fighter aircraft escorted the Prime Minister’s aircraft. Prime Minister Modi was conferred Indonesia’s highest civilian honour, the Bintang Adipurna. New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon personally welcomed and bid farewell to Prime Minister Modi, while Auckland’s iconic Sky Tower was illuminated in the colours of the Indian Tricolour. In all three countries, the heads of government joined Indian diaspora events and remained present throughout, an extraordinary diplomatic gesture rarely witnessed. This visit has strengthened India’s strategic position across the Indo-Pacific, secured critical resources for future growth, expanded defence partnerships, accelerated trade and investment, deepened civilisational ties and demonstrated the confidence that the world places in India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. India today is not merely participating in shaping the Indo-Pacific, it is helping lead it.

Dear self-esteemed Madame Nirmala Sitharaman, In your interview with India Today said "Look at this stupid-self confidence with which he stands up" taking potshots at our leader Rahul Gandhi as he was talking about the sad economic reality. You asked him back whether we made a single unit which brought in foreign exchange. Here you go, Madame Ji. This is just a beginning! Last year India's Software exports were $205.2 Billion out of $776.68B total exports. This is a huge 26% of the overall export. This is our single biggest contribution to our exports. From starting the first Computer Science course in IIT Kharagpur in 1971, to STPI to Aadhaar and NPCI we've built this software industry in India from ground up. What was your party doing back then? Trying to obstruct everything and create as many hurdles as possible. Let us remind you that your party declared 1984 as 'anti-computerisation year' and worked towards obstructing the IT sector which was the future. Despite all challenges, we went ahead and did it with the support of vast number of talented engineers of India. Here is a brief history of it. How India Became a Global IT Superpower A few decades ago, India was not known for computers or software. But today, it is one of the biggest IT hubs in the world. Millions of Indians work in the software industry, and companies like Infosys, Wipro, and TCS are global giants. This transformation did not happen overnight. It was the result of important government policies and decisions that started in the 1970s. Let’s go back in time and see how India’s IT journey began. IITs and the Birth of Computer Science Courses (1970s-1980s) India’s famous IITs (Indian Institutes of Technology) started computer science courses in the 1970s and 1980s. IIT Kanpur was one of the first to introduce a Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) program in 1971, with the help of US universities. By the 1980s, almost all IITs and NITs had computer science departments. This was the first step in producing highly skilled software engineers. Many of these graduates went on to work in Silicon Valley or for Indian IT companies. Rajiv Gandhi and the Computer Revolution (1984-1989 In the 1980s, India was not very advanced in technology. Computers were rare, and many people feared that they would take away jobs. But Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi saw the future. He believed that computers would help India grow. With the help of Sam Pitroda, a telecom engineer, he introduced computers in government offices. At first, there was resistance. Many workers protested, fearing job losses. But soon, people realized that computers made work easier and faster. The government also encouraged companies and schools to use computers. In 1988, the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) was set up to build India's own supercomputers. This created excitement around computers, and many young students started taking interest in computer science. The 1986 Software Export Policy – India Opens to the World In 1986, the government introduced a policy to promote software exports. The goal was to make India a hub for IT services. This led to the creation of Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) in 1991, where software companies could work with tax benefits. Foreign companies also started outsourcing their software work to India. Suddenly, there were many job opportunities in IT, and students began choosing computer science as a career. The 1991 Economic Reforms – A Game Changer The biggest turning point came in 1991 when India opened its economy to foreign investment. Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao and Finance Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh introduced economic liberalization. Before 1991, starting a company in India was difficult because of too many government rules. After 1991, foreign companies like IBM and Microsoft entered India, creating more jobs in IT. This encouraged even more students to study computer science. The Y2K Boom – India Saves the World (Late 1990s) In the late 1990s, the world faced a big problem – the Y2K bug. Many old computer programs used two-digit years (e.g., ‘99’ for 1999). People feared that when the year 2000 came, computers might fail. Indian IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, and TCS came to the rescue. They fixed Y2K bugs for global companies. This made India famous as a reliable IT outsourcing destination. After this, many foreign companies started hiring Indian engineers for software work. Seeing this success, more engineering colleges expanded their computer science departments. Conclusion – The IT Dream Becomes Reality India’s rise as a global IT powerhouse was not an accident. It was the result of smart government policies, investments in education, and the hard work of young Indian engineers. From Rajiv Gandhi’s computer push to the Y2K boom, and from IITs’ computer science programs to economic liberalization, each step played a role in shaping India’s IT success story. Today, Indian software engineers are leading global tech companies, and India remains one of the world’s top destinations for IT services. The journey is far from over – the future looks even brighter! So Madame Nirmala Sitharaman, shelve your stupid arrogance and think before you talk. Your Govt is able to sustain because of Software Exports which is $205.2 Billion out of $776.68B total exports, a huge 26% of the overall export. Do you need more? We will answer you in the coming days!

.Marjorie Taylor Greene Trump capitalized on Obama's recovery for three years, claiming credit until the pandemic struck. Faced with his first real test, he fell flat on his face. He prioritized golf over leadership while thousands of Americans died from COVID-19. We need attention-seeking, Putin sympathizers as much as we need another pandemic. Your attempt to rewrite history by glossing over the previous administration's catastrophic failures is audacious. You all want us to forget 2020 existed. Here's the lowdown: - Unemployment soared from a 50-year low of 3.5% in February to 14.7% by April as the pandemic forced businesses to shut or scale down. - By the end of Trump's term, the U.S. lost 2.9 million jobs, marking the first presidency since Hoover to end with fewer jobs than it started with. - Public federal debt jumped from $14.4 trillion to $21.6 trillion. - The economy shrank by 3.4% in 2020, the steepest decline since 1947. On the pandemic front, Trump's response faced heavy criticism: - He consistently underplayed the virus, likening it to the flu and suggesting it would just vanish. - His campaign rallies, lacking in social distancing and mask mandates, were tagged as potential super-spreader events. - Trump's golf outings during the pandemic's early days were seen as a sign of his crisis mismanagement. - A slow response to mobilize essential supplies for healthcare workers, including a delayed invocation of the Defense Production Act, led to critical shortages. The economic impact hit small businesses hard: - Many had to shut permanently due to lockdowns and decreased consumer spending. - The CARES Act's Paycheck Protection Program aimed to help, but faced criticism over its deployment and accessibility for the neediest businesses. Marjorie Taylor Greene knows that very well. She took PPP the amount of $182,300, which was later forgiven with interest, totaling $183,504. Transitioning to the Biden era came with its own set of hurdles: - Trump's delayed election concession hampered the formal transition process, including crucial pandemic response briefings. - The January 6 Capitol attack by Trump supporters disrupted the Electoral College result certification, sparking national security worries. - Biden took over a nation grappling with the pandemic's health impacts and in dire need of economic and societal healing. In essence, Trump's tenure concluded with the U.S. entrenched in a health crisis, economic slump, and polarized political scene, leaving the Biden administration to tackle the pandemic's ongoing challenges and to kickstart to recovery of a destroyed economy. This still overlooks his dealings with the Taliban, bypassing the Afghan government, which had been bolstered with hundreds of billions of dollars in training and arms. He opted to negotiate with the Taliban, a move that led to the Afghan government's collapse. He freed their leader along with 5,000 soldiers, while reducing U.S. forces to 2,500, all without a clear exit strategy for May 2021. This act served as a parting gift to Putin, cornering Biden into either redeploying 10,000 troops to continue an endless conflict or withdrawing to avoid Taliban aggression. That’s what Republicans are hoping slips your mind: They’d prefer you overlook the sheer incompetence of a president who's been indicted four times, impeached twice, and still only served one term. They're trying to erase 2020 from memory. But we won’t let that happen. Integrity, truth, and justice should be the pillars of our public conversation, not baseless accusations and distorted facts. One shall not LIE! We are not FOOLS! Joe Biden's tenure as President has been marked by substantial achievements and a determined effort to address the complex challenges he inherited from the Trump administration. Upon taking office, Biden was faced with an unprecedented global pandemic, a fragile economy, and deeply entrenched political divisions. Despite these challenges, his administration has made remarkable strides, affirming the United States' position as a global leader and a resilient nation. Biden's Achievements: Economic Recovery: Biden's policies have spurred a robust recovery, adding 15 million jobs to the U.S. economy, a record for any president in three years. This achievement is particularly notable given the economic turmoil at the pandemic's peak. Infrastructure Investment: The passage of a landmark infrastructure bill, a feat that had eluded previous administrations, will modernize the nation's infrastructure, creating jobs and improving quality of life for Americans. Climate Action: Biden has made the largest investment in climate action in U.S. history, demonstrating leadership in addressing the global climate crisis. Healthcare and Veterans: His administration has worked to lower drug prices and improve healthcare for veterans, addressing longstanding issues in veterans' care. Gun Safety Law: Biden achieved what hadn't been done in 30 years by passing significant gun safety legislation, reflecting his commitment to addressing gun violence. Economic Indicators: Under his leadership, the U.S. has seen the longest stretch of sub-4% unemployment in half a century, along with a record-high stock market and surging consumer sentiment. Recovery from Global Inflation: Biden's policies have also contributed to a faster recovery from global inflation than many other nations, showcasing the effectiveness of his economic strategies. Obstruction by Republicans: Despite these achievements, Biden's efforts have been consistently obstructed by Republicans, who have chosen to block meaningful legislation at every turn. This obstructionism is not just about thwarting Biden's agenda; it's aimed at creating hardship for Americans, hoping it will translate into political gains for Trump in 2024. Strength and Resilience: Folks, the narrative that the U.S. is a nation in decline is categorically false. The accomplishments of the Biden administration, in the face of significant adversity, underscore the nation's strength and resilience. These achievements, along with Biden's proactive measures on immigration, border security, and international relations, reaffirm the U.S. as the strongest nation globally, capable of leading with integrity and innovation. Conclusion: The contrast between the forward momentum under Biden and the stagnation and division fostered by obstructionist Republicans is clear. The achievements of the Biden administration, particularly in areas handed off in turmoil by the previous administration, highlight a government working tirelessly for the betterment of its people and standing firm on the world stage. The path forward requires continued leadership that builds on these successes, not regressive policies that seek to undo this progress for political points. #BidenomicsIsWorking #Bidenomics
