A lot of people in the media need to take a long look in the mirror and ask if it’s worth the paycheck to lie, stoke fear, stoke anger, and push lies. Because those lies have led this country into a very dangerous place. It’s time for people to walk away from those jobs, come out, and say, “I can’t do it anymore. I won’t do this anymore, and I’d rather walk away than push lies and propaganda.”

Alien Breed '92 Special Edition on the Commodore Amiga — pure 16-bit sci-fi mayhem! Team17 took their Gauntlet-meets-Aliens top-down shooter, doubled the levels to 12, cranked up the tension, and dropped it at budget price in 1992. (I was going to say...“So you cooked up a story and dropped the six of us in a meat grinder" but wrong franchise, LOL! The result? A frantic corridor crawler that stayed in the UK charts for over a year! Narrow space station halls crawling with xenomorph-style horrors, key hunting, door bashing, power-ups, and that unmistakable Amiga atmosphere. In space, no one can hear you scream... (back onto the right franchise) but on your Amiga 500, you heard every blaster shot and alien screech in glorious 32 colours! This was one of the definitive Amiga action games. Did you play the original or go straight for the Special Edition?

Before FIFA (EA) took over and monopolized the market, there were quite a lot of football (soccer) games. Some that come to mind: Kick Off, Emlyn Hughes International Soccer, Goal, MicroProse Soccer... and then, of course, probably the most popular one: Sensible World of Soccer from 1994. One of the many things that made it so popular were its controls. You didn't have to be a pro to keep the ball close to you, you could focus much more on passing and shooting. What some of the higher skill ceiling players would probably point out as a weakness, turned out to be what made Sensible World of Soccer the most successful among the home computer world - no other game sold more copies. None. It's one of the games I still load up when old friends come to visit and we nerd out on the Amiga. Sensible World of Soccer has a timeless quality and even over three decades later it still holds up.

He had at least two Amigas on the road and a souped-up one in his Vegas studio. He called his main Amiga “Lucille II” and used it to write songs, program drums, lay down horn sections, and arrange entire tracks with software like Bars & Pipes and Deluxe Music Construction Set — then he’d just play Lucille live on top. Straight from a 1987 AmigaWorld magazine interview: “I use it primarily for learning songs… I enter melodies from sheet music and then play along in real-time with Lucille. For all the pranks and joking Marie Osmond and I did on the Donny and Marie show, these segments were some of my favorites. I miss singing and dancing with my brothers. What I don’t miss are the hours and hours of rehearsals. But it sure paid off in the end because when we got out there on stage, it was pure joy. 💜 I love this clip! It may look like there’s a modern filter on the performance, but those of you who remember the 70’s technology, these were some of the best special effects we could get out of the cameras at that time. 📺😂 Today’s technology, but yesterday’s music. 🎤

Absolute classic that still holds up today! Did you know the digitized face that pops up saying "Level One" was Bitmap Brother Eric Matthews! Xenon was also the first Amiga game ever to crack the UK Top 40 software charts which was usually dominated by Commodore 64 and Spectrum games. The game is legendary but from memory after you blasted your way through the game, it just looped back to the start, (correct me if my memory is faulty) those sort of endings were a major disappointed especially when you have dedicated so many hours into the game! It was designed by Geoff Crammond, the genius behind other legendary titles such as The Sentinel and Formula One Grand Prix. The iconic “vroooooooooooom” when you rev it up, the cleverly drawn crack along the upper frame of the car to show damage, the incredible physics, and those massive jumps across insane ramps… What more is there to say? Because of that, the hardware has become a very popular R&D platform with an ecosystem around it and the Unitree G1 is undoubtedly an order of magnitude better than it could ever be at this point if Unitree was instead just doing quiet internal dev of both the hardware and software.
