“Stand up straight and pull your shoulders back” is the most common posture advice, but it’s also some of the worst. Here’s a better way 👇

"You should feel a little bit different" - wonderful! Is the goal of this dogshit to "feel a little bit different" or is it to change your body? If it is the latter, then doing stuff with a miniscule stimuli for a very short time will not accomplish it.

Glad I came across this, shattered my L-3 and now I feel like I don’t start correctly anymore. Thank you my man!

this is basically iyenger yoga.. if you are worried about postures, you should study that.

Haha what a load of shit.

This post has 120k views. But I guess not more then 120 people tried it. That is social media in a nutshell.

This is bullshit

Posture will be determined by the tension in the muscles. A tight muscle is a short muscle, which pulls the bones it’s attached to in the direction of the muscle fibres, misaligning the frame. Isolate each muscle & Stretch for 1 min. N. Flossing also helps.

Helps if you e been suffering high anxiety attacks and your chest is back are knotted from bracing.

bullshit

For those who keep saying this is BS, it is not about changing your body posture overnight, but rather about establishing a habit and reference points for that position; this not only helps maintain proper postural hygiene but also improves body awareness during training.

how did he bend his legs backwards

Bro, are you a doctor ?

“designed”?! who tf even thinks that? and how? but by all means flow with your body as only a carbonbased h2o majority being can, and often! the body is a great place of infinite learning.

@grok summery

Thanks for the advice ✌️

....

My shoulders just filed a complaint after years of being yanked backward like a soldier in a toothpaste ad 😭

as a wheelchair user, I slouch because of a weak spine. is it possible?

Exactly. Posture isn’t about forcing your shoulders back and holding yourself rigid. Better tips: ➟ Keep your head stacked comfortably over your torso ➟ Let your shoulders relax naturally ➟ Keep your spine neutral, not exaggerated ➟ Change positions regularly ➟ Strengthen your back, core, and hips ➟ Focus on comfortable movement, not “perfect” posture The best posture is often your next posture.
