From factory floor to launch site, the Terran R program is gaining serious momentum. Here’s the latest from May across design, build, test, and launch: 🖌️ Design: 17+ component-level Critical Design Reviews completed—rapidly releasing simpler parts like trays and manifolds ahead of structural assembly. ⚒️ Build: The LOX dome was successfully loaded onto the CFSW for its second weld, and the stage 2 transfer tube is now being welded—key steps toward completing the second stage tank. 🔥 Test: Aeon R engine qualification officially kicked off Stennis Space Center with 11+ hot fires in the books in May. 🚀Launch: Cape Canaveral’s LC-16 saw construction milestones—like the completion of the east flume wall in the diverter pit. Plus, we welcomed Robin Petitprez as SVP of Manufacturing & Supply Chain, strengthening our ability to industrialize Terran R at scale.

November was a busy month across Terran R test campaigns. 🛢️ Second stage tank successfully completed acceptance testing with 30+ load cases, including pressure proofing and flight-load simulations. 💨 Transonic and supersonic wind tunnel testing wrapped with 100+ runs of the first stage entry configuration. 🔥 Aeon V dev engine test campaign completed; Aeon R flight engine acceptance testing progressing at NASA Stennis. 🌡️ Hot gas testing executed on the stage press valve to validate performance under extreme thermal transients.

From Space Beach and the Space Coast, Terran R hardware and infrastructure are coming to life across design, build, test and launch. 🏭 On the factory floor teams installed the second stage downcomer and forward test adapter on the tank in preparation for acceptance testing, with continued progress on first stage fuel tank build. 🖥️ Teams completed thrust structure hardware-in-the-loop hardware integration, creating a testbed for software, avionics, and partner teams to validate designs and automation before use on the vehicle.
