Today, I want to express my gratitude to each of our soldiers and everyone working in our defense industry for the strikes on Russian airfields, oil refineries, and logistics. These actions are most effective when the consequences of Russia's war are brought back home to Russia, and when there is no safe place for the enemy on the occupied territory of our state. Commander Syrskyi reported to me the details of these strikes. I thank each and every warrior involved. We continue to speak openly with our partners—Ukraine needs to deliver truly long-range strikes against the Russian occupier. Wherever the occupier is, wherever Russia launches strikes against Ukraine, sending missiles, "Shaheds," bombs—we need this capability to act with all the weapons that can be effective. We must protect the lives of our people and end the war on Ukrainian terms. We are scaling up joint arms production with our partners: long-range weapons to reduce Russia’s appetite for killing, and interceptor drones to protect our people. This week, we reached an agreement with an American company to produce drones, and another agreement was concluded with Denmark on the first coproduction of weapons for Ukraine abroad. You remember in the beginning, we were willing to give away some of our F-16s. We were not allowed to do that because some allies said, "Well, we cannot put our fighter jets in Ukraine." Then we had questions about long-range weapons. That was also red line. There have been so many red lines. It's almost like we have asked you to defend Europe with one arm behind your back. That has not been fair. And one of the ways to get around some of these red lines is producing directly in Ukraine, because now you can produce some of the weapons that some allies have been refusing to give you.
