Possibly one of my favorite workouts to grow your glutes. This exercise really allows you to have a nice slow controlled negative movement and personally I feel the stretch more than many other leg machines. The best hamstring exercise you’re not doing - Gliders. I wish I started using these years ago. My athletes hamstrings have never been healthier. Gliders provide what’s missing in most hamstring programs: biceps femoris length and a touch of pelvic stability They don’t beat sprints, RDLs, or seated hamstring curls. Since Jongin and Rain go to the same gym, his imitation of Rain hyung is funny. Rain said he’s used to working out in the dark to fully immerse himself. He treats all the fitness equipment just like his girlfriends. Whenever there’s a new piece of equipment, he’ll wonder where it came from, look it up, and then start enjoying using it. Sooji joked, then treat her as a new piece of equipment and lift her up. Rain commented that he’s not the only one who gets this obsessed with working out and has these kinds of quirky thoughts. This the best hamstring machine ever… BUT I see so many people using it incorrectly!!! 🤦‍♂️ This glorious piece of equipment is called an ‘inverse curl’ and was designed by the late great Louis Simmonds from the notorious Westside Barbell The key to this machine is to set the support bar just at the point of where you feel you are going to fall forward and let it assist your decent and help your return Do not set the support bar to touch your chest when your upright at the start as this reduces the eccentric work on your hamstrings and completely defeats the whole point of the exercise!
