tried different methods, even made 2 tricky turn animations with root rotation, but everything wasn't blending good, was too sluggish looking and control, so the final is more procedural, just one anim + spine bone rotation for visual, she moves/rotates in circles based on input

The 3D learning experience is thinking an idea I came up with is cool and spent hours implementing it to find out that it only works for a very specific situation aka it’s useless. HAHA Basically I rigged the collar with their own bones so they don’t deform weirdly with the arm/shoulder movement then realise the sleeve clips into the collar on Z rotation. Decided to try applying the twist bone logic of bone constraints (copy rotation) and was like wow, it kinda works to move the collar away when the arm rotates to the front! But reality is that it just looks nice on T-pose and the “effect” is weird when the arms are posed downwards (which would be the default state of the model in its intended use)… And also the sleeve will still clip into the collar at a more extreme rotation anyway so I guess it was a fruitless effort in the end hahaha It did help me get more comfortable with the idea of applying bone constraints for other uses tho so that’s a plus! ദ്ദി(•⥿•)ว✨ In the end I’ll probably have colliders on the sleeve to prevent clipping with the collar as much as possible but I think a big degree of clipping is still inevitable considering the range of movement when the model is used for 3D vtubing 🤔

POV: you throw through the target. This might be the most underrated cue in baseball for increasing pitching velocity. It’s the idea of throwing through the target. Tom House did a study on this. He found that 80 percent of pitching velocity comes from separation and rotation. The other 20 percent comes from how well you track toward the target and direct energy through it. I made this mistake for years. I built a delivery where I would pull off. I tried to create power with rotation alone. What actually happened was I leaked energy sideways instead of directing it through the target. One of my favorite examples is Yamamoto. He doesn’t spin off. All of his energy is directed through and toward the target. He even finishes going forward. Everything goes through the target, not just rotation. Here’s the key. You still need rotation. That’s 80 percent of your pitching velocity. You can throw about 80 percent of your velocity from your knees because of rotation. But if you don’t direct that energy through the target, you’re leaving velocity on the table.

🥟: i've seen all the posts on fans and feedback about the company and it's frustrating. i didn't feel good. i wish i had some right to speak up on this too. i felt doubtful because there wasn't anything i could really do. even if it's just a little, i did ask the company to do something about it. well, it's not just me but all the members feel the same too. the company is monitoring this anyway so i hope everything could be resolved. please. i really hope that the memories we've built and the good times we had don't get ruined because of one issue. i tried my best too but there are stays who've made effort to like me too so i hope their feelings are not taken lightly.

Let’s go for a spin! Yesterday (see below) I shared a little about why young children enjoy playing with - and in - boxes, noting that “enclosure” is one of 9 repetitive play patterns (or “play schema”) common to young children. This video was a great prompt to share another: the ROTATION schema. As the name implies, children involved in rotational play are fascinated by things that spin, twist, and turn. They may enjoy spinning themselves in circles, making ramps for rolling toys, playing with gears… anything that turns and rotates. And yes, that includes the toilet paper roll… which is not only spinning but (like many activities in this category) teaching a cool lesson about cause and effect! Have you seen other examples of your child engaged in rotation play? (As an aside otherwise likely to be addressed in the replies, certain normal toddler behaviors repeated in excess can be red flags for autism. One of these is spinning [themselves] in circles, which for some children can be a self stimulating or “stimming” behavior. Enya's second side quest was even more emotional for me because she was already a withered soul who had lost her voice and body, and I didn't know why until I did her second quest, which comes later in the game. She used to be a star, a struggling artist who sang until she couldn’t and the industry never cared for her wellbeing. She was only seen as an instrument who could sing, and that was what made the industry care about her. Well, there's some truth in that too. She wasn't well, so when she was unable to sing and perform, I guess they threw her away and broke her body apart, as she was just another useless doll. They had their fun with her and just threw her in the garbage until the scavenger Su found her. He tried to fix her and did everything he could to make her talk and walk, but he didn't have the resources so kept searching for help until he met Eve and Lily. Enya had already lost her memories, and we somehow manage to fix her body and voice, but those memories we find for her... she refuses to take them, she's happy without those memories. She lives with someone who truly cares for her, not just her voice, Su loves her entire being. Su and Enya's quest was too good to be just a side quest!
