Real-time lens tracing experiment in three.js (WIP). Anamorphic adapter and diffusion filter are in - shown here on a Leica Elmarit 90mm. Everything runs on WebGL2, so it works on basically any device from the last decade. #threejs

OmniEdge add-on, WIP: EEVEE displacement shader-based outlines at 60 fps. Grease Pencil gives 2.5 fps on the same scene. A few seconds of python preprocessing + geonodes, baked into attributes. After that, it's all in the shader. #blender #b3d

Real-time lens tracing experiment in three.js (WIP) Turns out you can generate metric depth with a 40 MB model on the CPU in the browser in about 10 seconds. That's enough to drive the lens simulation, no 3D scene needed. Might turn the 2D part into its own app. #threejs

Real-time lens tracing experiment in three.js (WIP). This one's a 1973 Nikon wide-angle, US 3,731,989 - ten spherical surfaces. Rays trace from the sensor through all five lens elements, then hit a 360° photo with a depth map. Every lens parameter is a slider. #threejs

People asked for it - mulitplayer in blender!! You can download the demo file in the comments, not yet on the website, as ist quite rough. You need OmniStep in order to make it work. Shows the power of UserScripts in OmniStep! #blender #b3d #omnistep

One more try – 10× faster, bit more realistic, clean settings, runs at 60 fps with 12k edges. Screen-space edge scaling still the bottleneck.. GeoNodes file in comments (model excluded – belongs to id) #q3dm6 #blender #quadrascan

OmniStep: A Scriptable First Person Controller for Blender #b3d #blender Yet another Demo scene ready for the release: With the fly mode in 'Radial View Control' and the right settings, you can simulate fixed-wing flight.

OmniEdge add-on, WIP Still refining the UI and adding multi-object editing - something Blender doesn’t really support natively. Meanwhile, here’s a short video: Real-time playback showing line widths adapting to FOV, with post-processing and depth of field. #b3d #blender

GPU screen-space lines! Most calculations moved to shaders / EEVEE. Handles millions of lines in real-time — Grease Pencil doesn't come close. Could be a useful add-on or asset? #b3d #blender

OmniEdge add-on, WIP update: Now fully dynamic - no preprocessing, all in GeoNodes/shaders. Outlines + sharp edge profiles + constant screen size + exponential falloff (prevents fat lines in the distance). #blender #b3d

OmniStep's API will handle hierarchies in v1.1! Took some effort without using Blender operators. The example's a bit silly, but it's all about the concept.. OmniStep - A Scriptable First-Person Controller Add-on Now on BlenderMarket / Gumroad! #blender #b3d #omnistep
