Then I saw it firsthand. Harsh weather is a fact of life. But not having proper lane markings so drivers can actually see where they’re going is absolutely unacceptable. Truckers and commuters shouldn’t be guessing where their lane is while driving through slush and poor visibility. Just had one of the worst drives I've ever... had in 5 years with FSD in the rain ... for some reason even though it limits you to Standard it would not stop getting into the left lane (and was capped at speed limit). And the left lane was flooded in spots... Tesla AI - the left lane obsession needs to end. At this point it's bizarre. Especially in these conditions. I manually had to move the car back to the right 10 times in 5 minutes. And overall ... I'm not going to lie I could not see anything. My heart rate was probably at 150 bpm. So I want to be an FSD but I don't want to be 3 ft from a barrier hydroplaning.. When the speed is limited in these conditions and it won't go the speed limit anyway - FSD NEEDS to stay out of the left lane!!!show more

Strait of Hormuz over the last 24 hours: Oman... lane is dead. Visible traffic continues to be nonexistent in the Oman lane, but the Iranians reported that 3 vessels attempted to transit with US escorts only to have one get attacked. The other 2 turned around. With the Bab al-Mandeb closure now in force by the Houthis, Fujairah enforcement is the most likely next escalation path. Despite tankers being attacked during their transits through the Oman lane, some brave shipowners and captains are still trying, which means the enforcement has to go to the root cause: Fujairah. Here is the play folks are asking about, and... I don't see an error here. Triolo doesn't make an attempt at the runner going to second, so it cannot be a fielder's choice, and the struggle to get the ball out of his glove isn't an error unless there is a complete loss of contact/bobble with air, and I don't see that either, and Happ then beat out the play at first. I don't see where the error is because Happ is on the base before the ball gets to first. There is an error for the advancements after the bad throw, but I have a single and not an assumed out here.show more

FSD has is understanding situations like this where a trash loaded trailer is on the highway at speed and the software understands this could be a situation where debris might blow out of the trailer and move back or over to another lane. I find it extremely interesting how so many Angels... fans can just sit back and continue to be okay with this. The team is bad and the management from the front office down to the dugout has been bad. To make matters worse, I see some of you on here complaining about the tarps off movement in the stadium, saying things like “they’re saying bad words” or “it isn’t going to work so just give up,” and more of the same. At least there is a group here that actually cares and wants change, and they are willing to step out and protest in their own way. Stop being okay with losing. Stop being okay with ownership that does not care about the fans. Stop being okay with an inept front office. Strait of Hormuz over the last 24 hours: Oman... lane is active? Over the last 7 days, Kpler tracked 18 tankers exiting the Strait of Hormuz, 5 related to Iran. Average volume of 1.861 million b/d. In the video from MarineTraffic, you can see that at the beginning, there was a bulk carrier called Supra Baron that tried going through the Oman lane and then turning around. A few vessels took the Iran lane shortly after. But more interestingly, as I'm writing this post, there are two tankers that are about to go through the Oman lane: Rotterdam Energy, a VLCC, and Gaslog Shanghai, an LNG tanker. Rotterdam Energy turned off its AIS about an hour ago, so it's in the process of transiting now. Is the Oman lane active again? Or will IRGC enforce control again? If IRGC makes a move, then all the bombing the US did was create temporary enforcement vacuums in place for tankers to transit. This is clearly unsustainable in the long-run. WOW v14.3.2 is very decisive and is able to... execute with great confidence. Big fan. That said, in my first drive it messed up *spectacularly* twice in <15 miles of suburban driving. In one instance, it swerved out of its through lane of traffic into a lane that was ending, right as it was ending. It was not trying to overtake any vehicles, it just swerved over violently. ugh The other, in the video below, it did not consider that the left lane was turn-only, and tried to use it overtake other vehicles while their light was red. (this intersection begins with left turn green and through-lanes red) It is still very slow to merge into the proper lane in time for a turn, and ended up cutting off a large truck to make its turn. Could it have completed its maneuvers and continued without intervention? Yes. Would it be safe or legal to do so? No. Plenty of work left to do on FSD.show more

Strait of Hormuz over the last 24 hours. US... successfully escorted one group of tankers in through the Oman lane. All of them had their AIS off, but there was one Indian cargo ship that had it on when it went through. The list can be seen below. Following two days of US strikes, the US is back to escorting ships in. My guess is that it will try to escort a group out tonight, and Iran can either respond and create more escalation going into the weekend or it can lose leverage. In this video, watch the moment my speedometer goes from 70 to 69mph. It recognizes the signaling of vehicle in the right lane, and before it even begins its slide into our lane, FSD is slowing to prepare its next move. There are three main issues here 1. The truck... on the left is on the fast lane, which is correct.✅ 2. The second truck, with a dustbin-, is partially on the fast lane but not moving as it should. Its incorrect position -should be on the slow lane, alongside the danfo the yellow buse (public transport) 3. The driver of the red car is the main culprit. He lacks driving experience and failed to calculate his entry into the lane properly. Instead of entering at a safe speed of around 150-160 mph, he entered recklessly. A simple press of the brake for 4 seconds could have avoided the problem. The issue lies with the red car driver's poor entry into the lane. The award 🥇 goes to danfo driver .
