People are getting crazy over 4.0’s seamless texture generation! 🫨 It’s impressive, but control is limited, and some outputs aren’t quite seamless or lack adjustable PBR settings. Here’s a better way to AI-generate high-quality materials with full control – THREAD 👇🧵

Use - everything you need, all in one place: 1️⃣ Generate 100% seamless materials from text prompts and/or images 2️⃣ Apply specific patterns, grids, or tiling 3️⃣ Use custom models for specific styles (or train yours!) 4️⃣ Generate all essential PBR maps with precise settings 5️⃣ Upscale your textures up to 4K! 6️⃣ Export them to Unity in one click. Check it out 👇

1️⃣ Generate 100% seamless materials from text prompts and/or images. To get started, check out this step-by-step guide (+ video tutorial)

2️⃣ Apply specific patterns, grids, or tiling using ControlNet Ideal when you need the texture to follow a precise structure (like a wall, roof, floor, or even this rugged armored metal plate surface👇) Learn more about using Reference Images here:

3️⃣ Use custom models for specific styles (or train your own!) Scenario has a range of pre-trained custom models for textures, either "generalist“ or stylized (like cartoon or realistic). They help with style accuracy alongside the prompt. In case your exact style isn't there... just train your own model using your existing in-house materials. Here’s everything you need to know:

4️⃣ Generate all essential PBR maps with precise settings Easily adjust parameters like smoothness, metalness, height... then generate all PBR maps with just one click.

5️⃣ Upscale your materials from 1k to 2k-4K! 🚀 Access a range of parameters to upscale your textures while keeping them 100% seamless – whether you need a very precise or a more creative upscale.

6️⃣ Export them to Unity in one click (or use in any other software e.g. Unreal Engine, Blender...) All details here: And... have fun building!

Does texturing work via api so that you dont need to use any of those settings by just prompting and maybe giving crappy reference image?

It does work via API 💯 - it's all here 👇

Will these materials work for blender3d as well?

They will (and UE5 too, etc). I'll try sharing soon a quick test I did, using Scenario textures + the Blender MCP.
