#UE5 #vfx One more cloud tool done! I can build a complex cloud material and bake it into a volume texture. It took me most of the day because working with pseudo volume textures can be a wild ride: lots of UVs manipulation that can go wrong, either during writes or reads...

You can use the Rotator node to spirally distort texture UVs. Adding or multiplying it with a sphere mask and a time parameter will allow you to have full control over the speed, center, and edges of the texture #gamedev #VFX #realtimeVFX #UnrealEngine5 #UnrealEngine

After playing Hytale a lot, having fun, and doing everything I wanted to do, it's time to get to work! This is the first official iteration of my texture for Hytale! I hope you like it; there's still a lot in work-in-progress, but I hope you can understand the vision I'm aiming for.
