FASCINATING Classic+ news is coming out of China. Blizzard isn’t just testing Classic+ with the Chinese market. it appears to be designing the game with Chinese players in mind. this time, unlike previous Classic releases, China could have a major say in what the game becomes. Numerous surveys have been sent to Chinese players, Titan Reforged has been a huge success for NetEase, and Chinese BlizzCon being promoted as the biggest WoW event in the country’s history is set for October 16. Combined with plans for a simultaneous global release and the timeline is starting to come together. Some players will dislike China’s growing influence over Classic+, but the financial incentive for Blizzard is obvious. (200M+ in free money per year and growing) Full video on the Classic+ China Leaks 🧵👇

𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐂 𝐏𝐋𝐔𝐒 𝐍𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐄𝐗𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐂𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎 𝐊𝐀𝐑𝐆𝐎𝐙 We're just a couple of weeks away from BlizzCon but that hasn't stopped the Classic Plus "leaks" making the rounds. The latest is a little different and comes from Classic streamer Kargoz, who is saying that the Classic Plus we have come to expect never existed and that instead a brand new WoW game in a new timeline will be announced. Kargoz would go on to say that there was a playtest four months ago and that he has seen screenshots from the unannounced WoW project.

𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐎𝐖 𝐀𝐍𝐍𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐈𝐑 𝐎𝐖𝐍 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐂 𝐏𝐋𝐔𝐒 𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐕𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐄𝐑 The demand for a Classic Plus experience is high within the WoW Classic community, and it appears that several private servers are trying to capitalize on this trend. Ascension WoW has just released a 30 minute overview for their new Classic Plus server, which they describe as "Beyond Classic Plus." Up until now, Ascension WoW has managed to avoid significant legal ramifications from Blizzard. However, with their ever growing catalog of content, it might prompt Blizzard to take notice if they haven't already.

𝐀𝐇𝐌𝐏𝐘 𝐐𝐔𝐈𝐓𝐒 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐂 𝐖𝐎𝐖 After achieving multiple Hardcore World Firsts and streaming WoW for years, ahmp has quit Classic WoW. Ahmpy pointed to Blizzard's lack of care for Classic WoW, which has contributed to him feeling neglected as a Classic WoW player and therefore lost interest in the game. Ahmpy went on to say that he wants to try new things but would focus on Old School RuneScape for the next few months.

Asmongold gives his HOT TAKE, saying Classic World of Warcraft was far superior to any other iteration of WoW 👀😳 “Classic World of Warcraft was head and shoulders above any other iteration of World of Warcraft. Burning Crusade was a pale imitation, but it at least could share the name of World of Warcraft. Then there were two similar video games that were released that were using the Warcraft IP that I would say were at least mildly amusing to play. Those two games were World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King. Everything besides that, maybe Mists of Pandaria was okay. Everything besides that was just slop”

𝐍𝐎 𝐓𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐍 𝐎𝐑 𝐋𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐋 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍 𝐖𝐎𝐖: 𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 One of the community’s concerns about Classic Plus was whether it would include the WoW Token. In an interview earlier today, Clay Stone confirmed that the team has no plans for a WoW Token or level boosts. Clayton went on to say that the leveling journey is the game and that the team has even implemented systems to reinforce it. Pov: Destin on Youtube

𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐃𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 𝐈𝐍 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐂 𝐖𝐎𝐖 𝐀𝐅𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝟐𝟏 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 Even after all this time, there are still new things being uncovered in Classic WoW. After seeing a video by WoW Classic explorer 720 Zone | Classic WoW Exploration on YouTube, Xaryu took it upon himself to confirm that all Silverleaf bushes in Classic WoW have a small human head inside them. I've included a screenshot of the human head model that is found in all Silverleaf bushes.

𝐀𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐖𝐎𝐖 𝐑𝐄𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐔𝐍𝐅𝐀𝐙𝐄𝐃 𝐁𝐘 𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐙𝐙𝐀𝐑𝐃’𝐒 𝐑𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐓𝐀𝐊𝐄𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐍𝐒 Over the past 12 months, Blizzard has made a concerted effort to shut down private servers. Many in the community believe this is in preparation for Classic Plus, which is expected to be announced at this year’s BlizzCon. Private servers such as Everlook, Project Epoch, Stormforge and especially the popular Turtle WoW have all been shut down or are in their final days. One private server that has weathered the storm is Ascension WoW. Not only has it stayed online, but it has also been bold enough to launch its own Classic Plus server, Conquest of Azeroth, with it's Beta set to launch next month. Current speculation is that Ascension WoW data centres are hosted in Russia or other Eastern European countries which make it difficult for Blizzard to take down.

Classic WoW was meant to launch with FIFTY (50) dungeons and raids. The content had been planned out from the very beginning, from the concepts to the lore. But as the deadline to launch came closer, reality set in.. HALF of the dungeons/raids were cut from the final release, including Grim Batol, Hyjal, Kara, a Stratholme raid (!?), Karazhan RAID (on top of the Kara dungeon), a wild west Tauren leveling dungeon, and a dungeon under Ironforge. Would you like to see cut content re-added back in for C+? Check below for a FULL video on the upcoming Classic+ Raids and Dungeons (According to the Devs) 🧵👇

𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐓 𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐄 𝐇𝐀𝐒 𝐌𝐀𝐃𝐄 𝐈𝐓'𝐒 𝐖𝐀𝐘 𝐓𝐎 𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐂 Edit mode was a somewhat welcome change to Retail back in the Dragonflight pre-patch but now it’s Classic Era’s turn and it hasn’t been received nearly as well. While it has understandably caused a lot of issues with existing addons, it’s the overall change to the UI and how it functions that has upset a large portion of the player base

We got our first dump of WoW: Forever news. While there’s much to cover, some of the main takeaways are that while we will receive new raids and zones, the world is set shortly after W3. We will be locked to level 60 with no plans to increase the level cap. Holly went on to say this game has been made based on listening to the classic community.

𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐂 𝐏𝐔𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐍'𝐓 𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐘 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐄𝐒 Due to feedback, the Blizzard team announced changes coming to the Fresh Classic servers. The changes included Account instant mail, Dual spec and the removal of the buff/debuff limit. These changes were received positively by majority of the community but not all... Classic purist, SalvDali, is not a fan of the changes so much so that he called the Senior Game producer a 'buffoon' for announcing a 'no changes fresh' despite the team mentioning QoL featured Servers at Warcraft Direct.

According to Liquid | Maximum, it looks like the Retail raid/encounter team designed the first WoW: Forever raids. He added that the encounters will be “super easy” to match the community’s wants and expectations.
