Putting everything together for something PLAYABLE > GPT 5.5 (!) for code > GPT Images 2.0 for sprites + background > Seedance 2.0 for walkcycles > Elevenlabs for BGM and SFX > Phaser 4 Entire thing AI generated! 🔈 Sound ON!

In the past week, I was able to build the following games: - An endless runner - A tower defense - A Mario Party-like mini-game - An arena-based shooter The key unlock here was the ThreeJS skill With Opus 4.5 & GPT 5.2 - Claude Code / Codex CLI have much better end results now. With each game, I continued to update the skill based on bugs and issues faced - so it progressively got better and better at building the gameplay I was looking for. I've been doing this for a while now - and I can say that the leap in building games with vibe coding is real.

Just a couple of prompts from start to finish into a playable game! Pixel-perfect art > Codex App w/ GPT 5.5 High > Images 2.0 for animations (except walkcycles) > WAN 2.0 for walkcycles (cheap!) > 11Labs for bgm/sfx (in 1 prompt) > Phaser 4 Sound ON🔉 Full tutorial anyone?

Finally got around to setting up my mac and iphone so that I can vibe code with Codex / Claude Code on the go > tmux - persistent sessions > tailscale - private secure network > termius - ssh client Left: iOS Right: macOS Always in sync. Pick up where you left off easily.

Putting the AI generated sprites into a PLAYABLE demo. → Codex CLI → GPT 5.4 xHigh → GPT Image 1.5 for Idle + Attack → Sora 2 for Walk + Run + Jump While not perfect, I'm actually quite impressed at these early experimental results. Goal: Vibe code an entire game with AI (gameplay, art, sfx) and document learnings as much as I can.

The new Codex App is almost like having a full fledge game engine + editor: > game asset skill > spritesheets, tilemaps, atlases > phaser skill > level editing + layers > player controls + movement All using text prompts! Not perfect - but a glimpse into what's possible!

Can't stop iterating on this ! Opus 4.5 + Claude Code to plan design polish GPT 5.2 + Codex CLI to implement the plan Result: - More weapons - Particle effects + visual VFX - Dynamic camera - Destructible items And here's a cool kill-cam at the end of the round 🎥

By popular demand, I'm making a tutorial for how I vibe coded this game from scratch. I always capture every prompt I use when working on projects (I have my own $ capture skill) AI then helps to organise it. Written form first. hopefully (if time permits) - I'll do a video.

Not many know about this hidden command: claude --teleport It starts a desktop claude code session SYNC'd with your web / mobile session Great when you're working on your phone -- and then want to pick up from EXACTLY where you left off when back at your PC Demo below 👇

I took that 3D pirate character and made a point and click adventure game! > walkable nav mesh > item hotspots > animated backgrounds (ai generated) > debug level editor It's a proof of concept - but I really happy with how it's turning out. GPT 5.2 High + Codex 5.3 High

And yes - it's working on device too. Vibe coded, built and deployed right from the Codex App using GPT 5.2 and 5.2-Codex. Hard to hold the camera and play with one hand. But you get the idea.

Yet another prototype - guess what this might be about? Built using: - Agent Skill (ThreeJS) - Codex CLI - TinyPRD (for the game design doc)

Here's the result of Codex 5.3 ! > Upload a reference animation (IDLE) > Prompt what new animation you want > Sends image + prompt to Nano Banana Pro > Generates new animation sprite sheet The app looks good and functions well! > Next.js 16.1 > Convex db

Had fun with making 3d games with ThreeJS skills. But there's something about 2d games...(esp. pixel art) Working ona Phaser skill to be able to vibe code 2d games too. Lots lot to learn - esp. re: animation, tilemaps, etc. Here's an early prototype of a RTS with Opus 4.5 👇

Ok... this is going further than I expected. Ended up vibe coding a FULL point and click level editor: > Full 3d space + navigation > Place hotspots anywhere > Transform, scale, rotate objects > Set interaction dialogs Opus 4.6 FAST + Codex 5.3 + Nano Banana Pro + Seedance

Out of sheer frustration ... I decided to vibe code my own tile map editor to see if it can help with making my agent skills be able to build better levels. It also proves that the agent skill is sufficiently good enough to know how to read the tilemaps - just bad at level design. So maybe I just need to build a level design skill.

STOP vibe coding Flappy Bird or Snake clones. AI gamedev tools are EASIER than ever to use. So start building your dream game NOW. I made a point & click pirate adventure game: → 3D rigged characters → Level editor + Hotspots → Voice acting → Inventory No Unity. No Unreal. All vibe coded. Tools: → GPT 5.2 + GPT 5.3-Codex → Opus 4.6 → Nano Banana Pro → Elevenlabs → Seedance + Hailuo image-to-video → Three.js and Capacitor I've been posting my journey on X. You don't need to spend ages. All this was done during spare pockets of time. Just experiment. Keep trying new things.
