India has launched its first long-haul double-stack container freight train on the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor, marking a major milestone in rail logistics. The train combines two rakes carrying 360 TEUs and runs under overhead electrification, allowing far more cargo to move in a single journey. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said double-stacking can reduce logistics costs by 40–45% per container, while shifting freight from roads to rail can cut congestion, diesel use and emissions. The milestone comes as the 1,506-km Western DFC nears completion, strengthening India’s export and industrial freight backbone.

सुना है भोपाल रेल्वे स्टेशन से निकलने वाली जयपुर भोपाल ट्रेन का इंजन फैल हो गया जिससे वो 1.5 घंटा लेट हो गई , क्या इतने बडे स्टेशन पर कोई अतिरिक्त इंजन या उचित जवाबदेही की व्यवस्था नही है ? अब सवाल ये की प्लेटफार्म टिकट की वैधता भी 2 घंटे की रहती है पर रेलवे से सवाल पुछने पर विकसित भारत की धुन सुनाई देगी , अभी इससे कुछ दिनो पहले एक नायाब घटना भी घटी जिसमें टिकट कन्फर्म ना होने की जानकारी मैसेज से मिलनी थी पर नही मिली , हा इसमें ट्रेन लेट चल रही है उसकी जानकारी चार्ट बनने के घंटो बाद भी मैसेज पर मिलती रही || इस पर रोए या हंसे @PMOIndia + तीसरी घटना की इंटरनेट भी स्लो चल रहा है रील मंत्री जी आप कृपा कब करेगे हटने की ? @RSSorg @AshwiniUpadhyay इतने मंत्रालय नही संभल रहे है तो एक से कार्यमुक्त हो जाए @ajeetbharti @DainikBhaskar @aajtak
