The Venice team has been teasing 'Minds' lately, so David Hoffman asks "What are Minds?" Jon Venice: "Minds are custom AI experiences" "We have a subset of really strong power users that understand these models really well. They're really good at chaining these things together in such a way, using system prompts in certain ways, to create a toolset that lets them get a much better output from the same prompt, versus just giving it to a kind of naked model without any of these things. And so we're creating tools for users to create these experiences and then potentially even to monetize them. And we think in many ways this is going to become one of the more popular ways for people to use AI and that there will likely only be a small subset of these kind of power users who kind of become creators, although we're trying to make the tools easy enough for them to create whatever they can and they want. For generative AI to become an interesting art tool, we need much more control over the output. The slot-machine-like nature of pure text-to-image leaves too much to chance. Using the "Real-time Latent Consistency Model" that I'm using in the example here, is the first time I truly got a glimpse of a future where we'll be able to use our artistic skills and sensibility, to get control over AI image gen. Systems like these will never be able to match the quality or originality of a skilled artist, it won't surprise us in the same way an artist can. Things are a mess in terms of the training data these models are based on, and the questions about copyright concerns and about a time when everything will look the same are very valid. At some point capabilities like these will be embedded in photoshop, and anyone will be able to generate a pretty picture. But to create interesting designs, to tell original stories and to surprise us, we need creatives and artists with something on their mind. We'll be able to create immersive worlds, by making brush-strokes and sculpt marks, without needing to worry about all the dials, plugins, wires of our 3d and 2d tools today. I love to sculpt, I love to draw, and I love to explore new mediums and new ways to create. The Gen AI tools we have today are far from perfect, and things need to be steered in a better direction. For that we need artists to help point the way. Gen AI isn't going away.. it's too powerful and has the potential to allow us to tell stories like never before. Like all other big technological shifts, tech like this will come at a cost, but it will also open up new opportunities and empower a new generation of storytellers. Eight years of incredible memories. We talked often about the Rams being back in LA and how we would grow to be something special here. And there was frustration early on around getting the buy in from the people of LA. But we knew at the end of the day, it’s about providing moments. Shared experiences. The things that parents and their children will talk about and remember forever. That is what makes the ending of these last eight years so difficult. It’s the ending of something we have enjoyed building with you. Thank you for these shared moments. Thank you LA for welcoming my family with open arms and allowing us to grow here. Commissioner Stewart Johnston announced that changes will be instituted over the next two seasons through a phased approach. The most significant modifications will come in 2027 with goalposts being moved to the back of the end zone and the field being re-sized. In anticipation of these structural changes, beginning in 2026, the rouge will be modified and adjustments will be introduced to ensure more consistent game flow.

Show me your papers! This is what Garlic Girl has to go through every time she wants to come in and out of her property. This is dystopian on its face but it is actually one of the more calm and cordial checkpoint experiences she has had, much of that due to the officer with the long hair who has taken time to talk to her and has developed a working relationship with her. Almost all of the other experiences going through this checkpoint have been far worse, I will be sharing those next.

I was so happy and honoured to be joined by the Jennifer Simons President of Suriname at the opening of the school which I have been able to help renovate with the support of the amazing Foundation ‘ give ways’ They say every picture tells a story, and I think you will see in the video the joy and hope this new school facility has brought to the children who will attend it. The gift of learning is one of the greatest we can give to our young generation. Through education they can become the best versions of themselves which will see them go on to be great citizens of Suriname and The World.
