Who's at fault here?

definitely not the pedestrians

Car ran the light. It's cut and dry a moving violation and expensive ticket for the car. Bad driving has been practically decriminalized in the last couple decades though.

The person in the car is definitely wrong! Being in the car means they’re on a more comfortable side, which should bring about some level of patience especially for those trying to not get drenched in the rain! @grok please explain to them!

People helping unconscious driver

I'm faulting the traffic engineer that designed this intersection. The pedestrians shouldn't have a "walk" sign lit until the traffic light for adjacent traffic turns green

If you just see, the signal became green for the people to cross. Considering it was raining, they must be anxious to cross the road The white sedan must be trying to jump the signal when it was yellow, or nearing red light knowing very well he/she can't make it! Clearly driver's fault

Well, you can see they have a cross walk sign giving the side they’re walking to permission to cross, which makes me assume the person in the car did not follow some traffic rule At the very least, he did not yield to pedestrians crossing a sidewalk.

Fucking driver you can’t see a whole damn mob of people just cause the rain get the f outta here

Both sides. Although the pedestrians had right of way, it does not mean they are entitled to cross the road blindfolded, as all users of the road must maintain caution at all times.

This looks like a chaotic situation, but let's break it down: the pedestrians are crossing against a red light, which puts them at fault initially. However, the driver of the white car also seems to be speeding through the intersection, not yielding to the crosswalk, even as the light turns green. In many places, drivers still need to ensure pedestrian safety, especially in bad weather like this rain. Both parties share responsibility here, but the driver's actions could have prevented a worse outcome.

Elderly man almost crashes the car after falling asleep and blames an imaginary driver 🤣

Homeowner shows how people bump into his gate

pedestrians had right of way.

Definitely not the fault of the pedestrians under heavy rain trying to get to the nearest shade as soon as possible. The driver in his cozy car should have been thoughtful and kind enough to wait for them because why the hurry? You're not the one getting soaked.

Rain or shine, the real test of urban survival is mastering the art of the crosswalk dance.

If you watch the traffic light he was crossing on a hard yellow, the cross traffic light changed to green before he was out of the intersection.

Eve Eve’s at fault for eating the g@dd@mn apple 😔

Cyclists get into "accidents" on purpose.

The Nissan Doesn’t matter if the light for its red and the crossing sign was on. Any time any incident happens and there’s a Nissan Altima…………it’s best to presume it’s the Nissans fault anyway

Lol legally, the driver. That pedestrian sign is on, sothey’re supposed to yield. HOWEVER, were these niggas not paying attention?! Because that person was clearly not slowing down, so why would they cross the street like that lol

Driver has to yield to pedestrians. They started their walk when the light was green for them.

The graduates had a walk sign. I see the rain was torrential, so viz is bad, but the car went thru a red light, presumably.

Maryland license plate. It’s the driver’s fault!

The people crossing the street

The car had the green light and the right of way. With that being said, pedestrians can be extremely stupid and you still have to use caution.

do you freak in the rain?

looks like the people started walking before the light turned green and the white car didn't stop at the yellow light.

The guy who ran the red light probably. Same guy that didn’t yield to pedestrians. Dumb ass question

The car, the walk sign was green for crosswalk

Dude needs to stop at a crosswalk! 💯🔥💯

@grok who’s at fault here ?
