I wish Boeing would design an all-new narrow body. The current 737 fuselage was designed back when travelers were, ah, much skinnier. The shoulder room in the 737 is cramped compared to the A32X aircraft

NEW UPDATE: The Federal Aviation Administration has approved Boeing to proceed with TIA Phase 4B certification testing for the 777X, unlocking the largest remaining portion of flight test work needed for type certification. According to Boeing Commercial Airplanes CEO Stephanie Pope, the authorization enables expanded testing in avionics, stability and control, and human factors—key final areas before certification. Pope noted this is the last major TIA phase, though not yet complete, with the FAA still requiring extensive additional test points before type certification is issued.
